I tried playing a sample in my galaxy s2 that i just got. I was surprised to see that there was no audio on it. The video is awsome. There is no audio on speaker or on headset or with a 5.1 head set. get the audio on hd files.
I know that the video recording is 1080p.
i m using xperia minipro. for videos i uses MX video player . when i play any movi of 720p with aroung 800mb to 1200 mb size. the audio is not sync with video.

The quality and sound is superb, but it's just slightly out of sync. The video is about 14 minutes in length and is 1.10GB in size. On playback on the phone, it sometimes stutters (like the music stutter) and drops frames, but watch it from a computer with the file still on the SD card, and it plays flawlessly. I know the Tegra 2 is capable of 1080p encoding/decoding, so it should have no issues with 720p. What did Motorola do to this thing?
I wonder if anyone here knows how to load standard subtitles files (.srt) while playing video files (like .avi) on my SGS2. There's an idle "Subtitles" button on the bottom right of the player's menu, which I hadn't been able to use. Should I try a different one from the Android market?

On our blog, we have received feedback about people not being able to make VoIP calls on the Samsung Galaxy S phones due to mic or audio problems. With Nimbuzz or Skype using Nimbuzz. (version Nimbuzz 2.0 for Android) Either way, they can't hear the person or the person on the other side can't hear anything. You can read some more details here - under the comments section. As you can see, we are trying to gather as much information as possible in order to figure out and solve any issue. But, I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced similar problems with any of the new Samsung Galaxy S devices? Have you been able to make calls over the internet without any quality, hardware or software issues?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have successfully 'paired' my new S2 to my Ford Focus audio system, and it makes and receives phone calls fine - hands free. However - the current settings do not transfer my 'contacts' list to the car system. Every time I turn on the car ignition I get a little 'tune' from the phone, and a notification that says (something like) 'Ford audio would like to share your address book' and an option to 'OK' or cancel. If I click 'OK' my contacts are listed on the car system. There is also another window which says 'Do not ask again'Has anyone else had this issue - because I am getting fed up with having to allow the phone and car to share my contacts list every time I turn on the ignition.

It has consistently been from what seems to be a video where the person is showing a DIY for auto repair. When I unlock it i do not find any video apps open. I have not viewed any videos like this but this seemed to start after i was looking at some cars for sale online.

I have downloaded Heimdall 1.3.1 for windows 7 32bit. I want to flash the litening rom but when I extract the tar the files that I get are:
Factory fs, disc image file
Modem.bin, BIN file
zimage, file (type just says file)
When I try to put factoryfs in that partition heimdall comes up with a message that it expects a rts file.? Modem is pretty straight forward, but what kind of file is the zimage is it an actual zimage file to go into that partition or does it go somewhere else?
I am new to this forum and the Samsung Galaxy S2. When I download anything from my PC onto the phone it goes straight into My Files. I cannot then get anything in My Files to save to a ringtone or notification?

I had lots of music in my galaxy s2 phone memory and then moved it all over to the sd card when I bought one. Now when I open up the music player (the standard one that came bundled up with the phone) I get 2 of every track when I open up an album, one track plays and the other one gets the message " the player does not support this type of file". View 6 Replies View RelatedI just can't send emails with attached files. Not ir Email app not it GMAIL app. No matter the size of the file.
I go to the out tray in Email app, and displays a button: Send messages. I click it, it goes "Sending messages..." Then back to the square one. No error message, no nothing. The same with the gMAIL app just that there is no button, just stays in the out tray. However when I forward an email with attached content it would send alright, but no if I attach the file myself, or "Insert" from gallery.
I sent all my music files to the usb storage on the phone and when i open the music player it still says i ahve no music.
