Sep 28, 2013I do not get any app update notification from the store. Is this true for all lumia 1020s or just mine?

I've done a search on here and completed soft resets with repining the tile etc, and still doesn't seem to be working ...

Lumia 1020 :: Store Is Not Updating Apps
Apr 7, 2014I am using a Lumia 1020 with Black update and my Store is perfectly doing fine showing updates available but recently, or maybe around 2 weeks or so, my Store does not show any updates. I always see many updates from WPCentral but I the store just does not show an available update. And it is tiring to go to the app itself and update it from there when the store can automatically get all available updates and prompt me to download all.
I tried soft reset, restore factory settings, have not tried hard reset because I do not want to. I am almost in a month now that my store does not give me available updates.

Jan 23, 2014I'm currently unable to access the store while on 3G on my 1020. I have to be on WiFi to even browse the store. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something simple here but I can't work it out.

Dec 1, 2014My Lumia had to be sent away for a replacement motherboard and now is mostly working much better than prior to its death! However, I have some music I bought from the Microsoft store which now can't play. It states I should check my xbox music subscription but I don't have one and have never needed one. I bought the album and downloaded it, I'm not streaming from xbox music.
I don't want to pay for xbox music when I bought the music. I'm not streaming it so I don't see why I have to pay twice.

XYZ's birthday on December 12. By browsing calendar application it is no different to anyone's else. However , it is not cleared from wallpaper. It reads "Today is XYZ's birthday .
All Day " By wallpaper I mean the very initial picture which we slide up to see tiles.

Jan 10, 2014Lumia Black seems to be availible for me, but it wont download because it realy realy wants to have a Wi-Fi connection. I dont have one in my house, and public wi-fi's are slower than my mobile internet so it's gonna take ages. Is it possible to update your phone without wi-fi? In FAQ on windowsphone.com it only recommends to have a wi-fi and doesnt say it's necessary.

Jan 27, 2014I have a Lumia 1020 which I bought from O2 and subsequently unlocked it so I could use it with my Three sim. Everything had been working fine for 3-4 months, but after I updated to GDR3 (through the developer program) I now cannot access internet at all other than wi-fi.
On the top of the screen it says it's receiving an H+ signal and sometimes 3G - but whenever I try to browse the web or do anything data related, it won't work. I acquired the unlock code through eBay, but I don't think that's really relevant but thought I should add it.
The problem only started surfacing after I updated early to GDR3 (still no official update here in the U.K). Do you think this is a carrier related problem or software? I did put my old Pay-And-Go O2 sim in, and cellular data worked just fine. It's like it's unlocked (I can make calls with the Three sim) but it is not allowing me to use any data.
Lumia 1020 :: 4G Option Not Available After Black Update
Jan 17, 2014After updating my 1020 to Black the 4G option disappeared from the Settings (Highest connection speed). Now I can only see 2G/3G, not 4G anymore.
Before the update the 4G option was available, selected and working fine, since my french carrier (free mobile) has LTE activated.
It's driving me crazy, the 3G network with this carrier sucks like hell, but the 4G is very good.

I have reset the device a number of times by depressing the volume and power buttons but the same message keeps coming up. Nov 16, 2014I'm using DP and I have the latest update which was days ago, I'm also on cyan. Before the update, the battery performed well (or at least as expected). Now, it drains too quickly when play a bit of minion rush or watch some youtube videos. The other day out just dropped to 5 percent in a couple of minutes. I did a hard reset but still, the battery ducks now. I'm thinking going back to cyan but I love the folders features, it saves me lots of space and get me organised. Jan 14, 2014I've got a black 1020 (Carrier: Bouygues Telecom) that can't work with Black Update. When I update it, my phone breaks down. (When I run an app, there's the loading screen then back to the homescreen or the phones freezes).
I've try to hard reset, the problem is still there because when you hard reset, I think the update is still there. So i've try to reflash it with my carrier rom to have it like the first time i've had it in my hands, the phone works fine.But if I tried to update it to Black, the same problem shows again.

Jan 14, 2014I live in Japan. I updated to Lumia Black the other day and since then my 1020 cannot find NTT Docomo cellular network. The 1020 finds other networks (JP Docomo) but not NTT Docomo.
So, I am unable to use the phone. I took the SIM card out and put it into my Lumia 620. The 620 is using Amber. It was able to find and use cellular services provided by NTT Docomo. So, Amber works; Black does not.
Lumia 1020 :: Missing DNG Option After Black Update
Feb 7, 2014I'm very new to the Lumia (last night!), so I suspect I'm doing something daft. I've just updated my phone with the black update, and now there are no more phone updates to download. When I go into extras+info, the software release is Lumia Black.
However, when I go into the camera settings, I still can't see an option to shoot in DNG - it's still only the 2 jpg options that are there. Is there another step that I need to follow before this becomes available?

Jun 26, 2014I installed a new camera update on my 1020 the other day and I can no longer preview the photo immediately after taking the picture.
The only way to view it now is by checking it in the gallery. It was handy to preview the photo to check whether I needed to re-shoot it due to blurriness, blinking etc..
I've checked all the settings and I can't find an option to bring it back.

Aug 26, 2014I'm using an unlocked ATT 1020 on Tmobile and when I enabled internet sharing, it would tell me to call 611 and request the feature from ATT. But if I disabled LTE, tethering would work and then I could re-enable it. Now, with cyan, the phone recognizes that it's going through tmobile, but states that I don't have the mobile hotspot service (I do have it) and takes me to a message to upgrade my plan. When I click upgrade, it takes me to a page to call Tmobile. Upon calling them, after dealing with someone who swore my plan didn't include tethering (it certainly does), I got transferred to someone else.
After some steps and some research on their side, I was told that the only thing that made sense was that when I changed my plan to a higher data plan (recently, where I was assured nothing would change except the amount of data), the system saw that my phone was not a Tmobile one and kicked tethering off. She stated that there was no way to manually re-add it because it just kicks it off again. For the record, all of the other phones on my plan still work with tethering (one other phone is a non-tmobile iphone). Also, a friend of mine has a 1520.3 on the same plan and cyan actually made internet sharing work when it wasn't working before. So confused and frustrated.
I don't know if this was actually something cyan changed or if it really was the plan change, because I believe the last time I tried internet sharing was before both changes. I want to try my sim card in a pre-cyan, non-tmobile WP and see what happens.

Aug 8, 2014Prior to the Cyan update the uploading from camera roll or just after a pic was very fast. Now it opens the Facebook page when you upload and if you leave the page it stops uploading.
