unless you go into the app store itself? It should show you when you have updates available without having to go in and check ourselves. Just like mail and messages.

I would post a screenshot but the app crashes if do that.
Basically I never get any notification of app updates, not do they update automatically. I have to go into app store regularly, then to updates and thereafter it shows the updates available, and shows the badge on the app store logo (ie red 3 for three new updates).
I've tried logging out of the current apple ID, powering off, on, putting apple ID back, no difference.
Tried turning off automatic updates, powering off, on, putting it back on, no difference (it's currently set in obviously).
Also difficult yo test as each time I need to wait for new updates to be issues to see if it works or not.

Today I decided to back my iPhone up on the pc and after a while I believed I was finished. I noticed on my iPhone there were updates in the App store so went to update all. It was at this point that I noticed the Apple ID Name was incorrect, displaying the wife's username. I checked my Settings > Store and saw at the bottom my ID is still there.
My question is, how can I now update my phone since it is showing the wifes ID name? Sure I can wait till she comes home and ask for her password but I really dont think that is what IDs are meant for somehow nor do I understand how hers is on mine?

I've just been given an iPhone today and setting it up. I have managed to download some apps of my own through the app store with my Apple ID, however App store says it needs to update "Group Text!" and "Bump" (I dont know if these are standard but I did not download these however when I try to update them and it asks for Apple ID password, the username says another username in there (not mine) and is not click able in order to edit it to put mine in.

I lost the Ovi store icon from my phone today. I can see Ovi store app when I check application manager>installed apps. But it is not there in the menu. So I cant access it by any means. I tried installing the new qml store client. Even that gets installed but not available thru menu. I can confirm it is installed in the phone memory as I can see it in the installed apps list. But no way I can use it since there is no icon for it. Also I have lost my internet search engine which is used to search web content thru native browser.
