When I am calling or getting called my phone automatically turns up/down the volume till maximum. Means, when I try to turn down the volume a little it automatically keeps on turning down till minimum (and the way arround). Even if I don't change the volume it automatically turns up.
When the phone reaches maximum volume it always 'beeps'.
Every day at 12:00 to 13:00-ish, the phone starts backing up settings, contacts, etc. I don't need this function and I don't like how it closes the music player for it. Is there a way to disable it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought this phone and I am satisfied with it. The only problem I see is that the alarm volume is too low. It's a lot lower than the mp3 player volume. This is puzzling since the alarm is the one that's supposed to be louder so that it can wake people up.

I set up the mailbox and automatic retrieval but unfortunately the phone will not retrieve emails unless it is manually connected to mailbox and when it is it drops connection every 20-35 minutes. I have the mailbox update interval set to 6 hours but it won't retrieve them unless the connection to mailbox is active. Am I able to use this phone to get my email as on iPhone managing the connection itself?

After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

It starts of at the volume level I set it to, the gets quieter and quieter till you can't hear anything then it gets loud again.
Initially thought perhaps I was inadvertently hitting the volume down button but the volume indicator does not move.

In the past, before iOS4, I was able to assign hi - res picture to my contacts.When someone called, the large picture would show up,not the little pic in the top right corner of the screen.Yes,I am using the Google sync/exchange.But I also know that assigning a picture to a contact on the iPhone will use that picture and it will be hi - res.Now,after iOS4,its 50 - 50.I've assigned a picture to my wife. And the picture is hi - res.When she calls I get the large picture.But assigning a picture to my son, its resized so when he calls I only get the small picture and is a low - res version of what I assigned.I haven't changed any settings in Google either.So what might make some pictures show up correctly, and others not?Any ideas or anyone else experiencing this as well?

When i turn up the volume to high (when it goes red on the volumebar on screen) i cannot turn it down again via volume buttons.
I can turn up to maximum and turn down to where the red level begins, but i cannot turn down below the red line. Between, if i use the volume settings on screen, theres no problems.
If i turn down below high settings i can adjust via buttons fine but as soon as i get up to high again it wont turn down via buttons. Its the same with buttons on phone and on headset. I have done a full reinstall of iphone with no change to the problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am getting annoyed by the volume notification that says "Listening to music on high volume for long periods of time might be harmful" etc., sometimes I'm out running and I try to turn up the volume, it'll vibrate and block it, so I'm forced to pull out my phone and dismiss the freaking notification.
I tried searching for it in the settings, nothing came up as a toggle switch off.
