I had to try hard reset my nokia 5530 after resetting with the code *#7370#, its not even starting properly and showing the errors sometimes like popupclock: already in use.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased a genuine Nokia 5610 XpressMusic slide phone quite a few months ago during a trip to China. The phone worked (and is still working) perfectly well. However, several weeks back I took out the phone battery and when I replaced it all of my contacts (JUST contacts) saved in the PHONE MEMORY were missing/deleted. I was only left with what remained on my SIM card. I went to Menu>settings >security >security level >memory to try fix it, then discovered that the PHONE MEMORY was now locked and its contents protected by a security code. I certainly did NOT set any security code on my phone (I only use a PIN code to access my phone - it works fine) and now, although my phone is fully functional, I can no longer save any more contacts to my phone (because the SIM card is full and the phone memory is blocked).I've used security code generators and also the typical 1234, 12345, 0000, 4444, etc - but NONE of them work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI turned on Auto Lock for the 5530. It prompted me for my lock code so i used the default factory lock code 12345. That worked, but then it told me that "Lock Code Expired". Then a New Lock Code screen comes up. I entered a new code, lets say 123456. Confirmed the code. Then I get an error message saying "Must contain both letters and numbers". But the 5530 only allows me to enter numbers and symbol characters. There are no letters to enter. So I am totally locked out of my phone.
I tried a hard reset RED + GREEN + Photo buttons but that did not work.
I forgot my security code. Does anyone have any idea how I can recover it? I need to recover that to solve my second problem...I can't do any resets on my phone if I do not have my lock code

My usage isn't that much, yes I do chat on whtsapp and I know it does take up some of ur battery usage but then I have to keep it for charging twice a day. View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.
