when ever i answer a call ..volume seems to be very low., my volume is set high.. there is no cover in-front of speaker..i always need to turn my speaker ON or need to put my headphone to hear.

There is no sound when you answer or call out but there is sound for everything else. Not sure what else to try to get it working again, did a hard reset on it s few time but now thats not even working to fix the problem.

All of a sudden I cannot hear anything when making calls and I cannot hear anything when answering calls?? It rings both ways but when I answer I don't hear the other party and they cannot hear me. When i call someone I don't hear it ringing even though it say calling, then connected.

I have the i9100 for over a month and already issues occur. One of them, the least annoying, is that when I answer the call and take the phone to the ear, I hear a click sound, something like a relay click when it closes.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't know what happens, but know I only can answer calls with the headset on.Eventhough headset is not plug, the phone acts like if it was. The headset icon always appears in the screen. I just tried to restart the phone. I took the battery off and when the phone restart the icon is not there, as soon as I plug the headset, the icon appears and it continues there til I turn off the phone and start everything again.

Suddenly I see the blank screen lighting up and call coming, the phone does play ringtone and the call is automaticly answered -> I can see "end call" button, if I try to speak to the phone the other person hears my voice "beyond grave", but I hear nothing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Bold 9700 has been answering calls by itself sometimes. A call will come in and it will automatically answer, but only once in a while. I do not have it set to auto answer. This problem continues until a battery pull is done. Once I pull the battery it works fine again for a while but it will happen again after about a day of working fine. Another problem is that the phone tends to reboot itself very often. After being on the phone for a while it will restart itself, sometimes in the middle of a call. I have called tmobile's blackberry support multiple times and they are no help. I have wiped the device from my blackberry. I have also redone the handheld software and used the application loader to do it. I have no idea why this problem is occuring!! Does anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it?

Generally I'm quite happy with the phone. I did however experience a problem yesterday where my phone (without my knowledge) was not taking incoming calls. I had a meeting with somebody who said that they'd tried to call my several times.
When we met he tried again and the phone did not ring and worse still the answering machine did not cut in. My phone was showing a full signal. I switched off the phone, removed the battery for a moment and then switched back on and it was fine? As a business user, this is very worrying. How many calls did I miss for the morning? Phone rings, you take out of your pocket to answer and the screen goes blank !!! You can't see the green answer call button! I thought this might be because of the power saving mode, but disabled that and I'm still having the same problem.

When the phone answer's you can't hear the caller. And on the other end (if you're calling me) it still rings and then goes to vm. After the static blast, the headset works just like it did with my old Devour. I also get the same static blast about 30% of the time when I try to use voice commands. I have tried taking calls in several locations, thinking I was getting some type of "noise" from something else, but I still got the static blast.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been a BB lover for years. My Curve 5320 served me well and I loved it. When the new Bold 9700 was released I was one of the first to get it b/c businesses were offered the opportunity to get it before individuals. I was so excited about 3G, it's sleek look, etc. My excitement has officially crashed and burned. When placing calls it will fail repeatedly before even dialing the number. It will fail during calls up to 5 and 6 times in a few minute period, which is HORRIBLE during business calls. It will lock up when I'm trying to move between apps, it will spontaneously shut itself off. I'm feeling like my BB is possessed. This is my second 9700. The first the E key would stick or repeat 20 times on a text and the calls would fail, so they diligently sent me a new one. Thankfully, I no longer have to edit every text for 100 e's (i'm stopping @ theeeeeee storeeeeeeeeeee is theeeeeeereeeeeee anything you neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed), but the failed calls thing is really pissing me off! Also, the volume on calls is really low in comparison to my Curve. To top it off, the 3G speed seems as slow as, if not slower than my former EDGE. I am hoping and praying that a software upgrade will fix all of these issues, but if it doesn't are there any suggestions as to what i can do? Other than switching to an iPhone? I for one happen to love my Qwerty keyboard and am not exactly fond of the on-screen keyboards.

When using my iPhone 4 to do anything like listen to music, watch a video or just using apps, the volume bar disappears from the screen and the sound stops. When I get texts and things sometimes it just vibrates and doesn't make a noise. I know the speakers still work because when I go to the settings and touch the sound bar it makes the test noise to show you how loud it will be.
This problem is the same when using my headphones. I've tried syncing it to my laptop & making sure it has the latest iOS version.

I get no sound from on-board speakers or volume adjustment bar for both Iphone 4 (ringer) and Ipad 3 (sound effects) - both IOS 5.1.1. Apple 'solution' is a complete Itunes system restore. All is fine with headphones. Problem comes and goes. Any easier solution while away from Itunes?Apple have checked Iphone headphone socket and is OK.

I just got the 5s and when placing or receiving a call, the sound is very low. I can barley hear the person on the other end. if I switch it to the speaker I have no problems hearing them. All other sounds, music and tones play fine and I've checked the volume button on the side and the sounds button under settings, everything is turned up to high. Is there any other place on the phone or settings to go to?
