Phone rings, you take out of your pocket to answer and the screen goes blank !!! You can't see the green answer call button! I thought this might be because of the power saving mode, but disabled that and I'm still having the same problem.

The problem is that I have blank screen during all calls and alarms and worst thing is that menu and shutdown keys isn't working idher. I can't do anything when I have a call or when I want to shut down alarm clock. Everything worked fine with Symbian Belle but this **bleep** started after I updated it to Belle. So what should I do in this case. Any advices? Thak you
View 2 Replies View Relatedthis only happened this morning after using my phone, i was browsing Internet, i had made a phone call, i had been on ovi stores and then suddenly the screen starts showing all of these multicoloured lines, flashing, like the display was giving up. it's a bit like when a computer monitor isn't plugged in properly. the touch still works, its just i can't see anything.i tried resetting the phone, which it did, but it seems as though the phone software isn't the problem, its the display on the screen.

I assumed this was as a result of mistakenly clicking "clear who is it blinking" on the home screen menu, however, I've since been unable to re-enable it.Consequently, whenever I either make a call or pick up an incoming call, the screen goes blank and becomes inactive. Also when I have an incoming call waiting, I'ld hear the beeps but won't be able to see who is calling.In summary, whenever I'm on a call, I'm unable to see or do anything else with my phone until the call is over.

The screen just goes blank sometimes when a call is incoming .I am not able to use the touch screen to attend the call and instead I have to use the push button below.
I tried switching off and on again, and also removing the battery and replacing it, but without success.for once or twice after restarting it may work fine but again it happens. could it be software problem or any interference from any apps that i downloaded?
I have just noticed that when I start to make a call on my 701 the screen goes blank when it starts to dial so you don't no if its dialling or shut down especially if it wait a long time to connect and you have no dialling tone. I have the screen up with the red and green squares but as soon as you dial it goes blank.

I have a nokia lumia 800, when im on a call the screen stays blank so i cant access any of the in call options? i dont have a screen protector on the phone, i have run the diagnostics app and the the proximity sensor is responding fine!! so it leads me to think its a software issue?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI love my G3 and have had no negative issues with the new Android, except for this one. When I receive a call, the bottom half of the screen is blank/black. I'm able to answer and end a call only because I know where the icons are, they still work but I just can't see them. Upon ending the call, the whole screen comes back. It's only on incoming calls that I've had this issue (although, I don't use too many apps so don't know if it's occurring elsewhere). I do not root my devices.

It could turn on again, but some settings were gone (VPN settings and Mobile Networks). I did the "Settings Reset", but it didn't work, nothing happened.
I can't receive phone calls and or texts, nor can I go online thru my Mini pro. What's wrong with my cellphone?
I don't know what happens, but know I only can answer calls with the headset on.Eventhough headset is not plug, the phone acts like if it was. The headset icon always appears in the screen. I just tried to restart the phone. I took the battery off and when the phone restart the icon is not there, as soon as I plug the headset, the icon appears and it continues there til I turn off the phone and start everything again.

Suddenly I see the blank screen lighting up and call coming, the phone does play ringtone and the call is automaticly answered -> I can see "end call" button, if I try to speak to the phone the other person hears my voice "beyond grave", but I hear nothing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Bold 9700 has been answering calls by itself sometimes. A call will come in and it will automatically answer, but only once in a while. I do not have it set to auto answer. This problem continues until a battery pull is done. Once I pull the battery it works fine again for a while but it will happen again after about a day of working fine. Another problem is that the phone tends to reboot itself very often. After being on the phone for a while it will restart itself, sometimes in the middle of a call. I have called tmobile's blackberry support multiple times and they are no help. I have wiped the device from my blackberry. I have also redone the handheld software and used the application loader to do it. I have no idea why this problem is occuring!! Does anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI thought that the X7 is supposed to use the proximity sensor to send the screen black during a call because it is next to your face. My phone automatically puts the screen black when I make a call, even if the phone is on the desk or held out in space. Either way, it is very rare for me to be able to convince the phone to bring the screen display back up, ( to do things like enter little things like pin codes ). I flip it around, hold it up to the lights, put it against something, take it away, press every part of the screen. Is there any way of setting the phone not to go black during a call?

Generally I'm quite happy with the phone. I did however experience a problem yesterday where my phone (without my knowledge) was not taking incoming calls. I had a meeting with somebody who said that they'd tried to call my several times.
When we met he tried again and the phone did not ring and worse still the answering machine did not cut in. My phone was showing a full signal. I switched off the phone, removed the battery for a moment and then switched back on and it was fine? As a business user, this is very worrying. How many calls did I miss for the morning? When the phone answer's you can't hear the caller. And on the other end (if you're calling me) it still rings and then goes to vm. I did have the auto answer setting on before when you wave your hand over it. I thought that was it so I turned it off but it's still messed up. I'm stock on 4.4.4

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen my BlueParrott Xpressway headset is connected to my Bionic and I answer a call using my headset, 50% of the time I get a loud blast of static that lasts anywhere from 4-10 seconds. After the static blast, the headset works just like it did with my old Devour. I also get the same static blast about 30% of the time when I try to use voice commands. I have tried taking calls in several locations, thinking I was getting some type of "noise" from something else, but I still got the static blast.
