The problem is that I have blank screen during all calls and alarms and worst thing is that menu and shutdown keys isn't working idher. I can't do anything when I have a call or when I want to shut down alarm clock. Everything worked fine with Symbian Belle but this **bleep** started after I updated it to Belle. So what should I do in this case. Any advices? Thak you

I assumed this was as a result of mistakenly clicking "clear who is it blinking" on the home screen menu, however, I've since been unable to re-enable it.Consequently, whenever I either make a call or pick up an incoming call, the screen goes blank and becomes inactive. Also when I have an incoming call waiting, I'ld hear the beeps but won't be able to see who is calling.In summary, whenever I'm on a call, I'm unable to see or do anything else with my phone until the call is over.

I have just noticed that when I start to make a call on my 701 the screen goes blank when it starts to dial so you don't no if its dialling or shut down especially if it wait a long time to connect and you have no dialling tone. I have the screen up with the red and green squares but as soon as you dial it goes blank.

I'm able to answer and end a call only because I know where the icons are, they still work but I just can't see them. Upon ending the call, the whole screen comes back. It's only on incoming calls that I've had this issue (although, I don't use too many apps so don't know if it's occurring elsewhere). I do not root my devices.

I thought that the X7 is supposed to use the proximity sensor to send the screen black during a call because it is next to your face. My phone automatically puts the screen black when I make a call, even if the phone is on the desk or held out in space. Either way, it is very rare for me to be able to convince the phone to bring the screen display back up, ( to do things like enter little things like pin codes ). I flip it around, hold it up to the lights, put it against something, take it away, press every part of the screen. Is there any way of setting the phone not to go black during a call?

In version 40, when receiving a call the old answer button was replaced by a sliding button. The same goes for the alarm. The old stop button was replaced with a new sliding stop button.I was in a call, the phone suddenly crashed and restarted. After that both sliding buttons don't appear when receing a call or when an alarm goes off.Is there any solution other than reinstalling the firmware update or hard resetting the phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the Xperia Z3 from Tmo and when I see my contacts I see the pictures on them but when I call them or they call me I get the blank default picture for them during the call. I have verify I dont have multiples contacts of the same or multi pictures. I reset the phone and in the first sync everithing was OK but after like one hour again the same probpem. I reset it and installed all apps one by one to see if one of them was giving me the error but everithing was OK after I intall them and after some hours again the same thing. I like this phone and I dont whant to go back to ios.
View 6 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden while on phone calls, in the phone app itself if I try to tap the red END CALL button or hit the keypad button for automated service, the screen goes blank. I have to hit the menu button to bring the screen back up and try again. Can take 7-8 times until it goes through. What can I do? This problem just started. Also if I use Siri and try to hit the mic after I speak the screen will shut off the same way and I'll have to do the menu thing over and over again. There are absolutely no other touchscreen problems other then these and I use many apps and play several games.
