My Nokia X6 started blinking first and then it has got totally blank....screen got black...noting is visible on the screen but I can receive and give calls and all other functions are working properly.

View 14 Replies View Relatedi have been using my blackberry for the past five months when it suddenly went blank on me the phone just blanked off and the red light started blinking then the load screen with the hourglass and the load bar would come up but the bar wouldn't load and it would blank off again...i was told by the store that i bought it from that the software had crashed and that it would need to be reinstalled... long story short the software can't be reinstalled for whatever reason and i now have a very expensive paperweight

Contacts > Options > Memory > SIM Memory - shows 0 Contact persons and Free=500.All SMS msgs are deleted (no unread sms).How to have this blinking stop?

I get no beep on the phone when I plug in the USB cable (tried on 3 different PCs) and I get no prompt asking what mode I want to use, i.e. PC Suite Mode, Mass Storage etc.The phone does not appear under "Devices and Printers" in Windows 7, nor does it appear under "Device Manager".So there is zero connectivity between the phone and the computer.
I've ordered a new micro USB cable from ebay to see if it helps, but the one I am using now doesn't look damaged in any way.
I've been loving the Lumia 800 since I got it bar a few problems getting it turn on, but this one takes the cake. Last night I was using my phone before I went to sleep and the battery died so I put it to one side. This morning I go to charge the phone and I'm getting very very little response from the phone. Once I plug the charger in the phone vibrates twice, although the second time it appears to be getting 'cut off.' At no point is anything visible on the screen.
Tried to use the laptop and I get the USB connection sound from my PC, however it then plays the 'removed USB device' sound and there's no indication the phone's connected.
The only technique that gets any kind of response is the 'soft reset', holding the power button and bottom volume button for 10 seconds which gets my carrier's logo up on screen before it quickly dies.
As this is my only phone I'm getting rather stressed about this. I really do need my phone in the week. Would you guys suggest I take it to one of my carrier's shop or try and go through Nokia themselves?
So dissapointed because it's my favourite phone I've ever owned, and now it's useless and causing me a lot of undue stress.
Tried Pressing The Switched Off Button Still No Response. Even The Meny Key Isn't Working. Just Installed Anna Via Going To Device Updates. The Phone Restarted And When Software Updates Came I Ticked Symbian Anna . One Update Gor Installed. While Second Update Was Installing Suddenly The Phone Got Hanged. Now It Isn;t Working.
