Last night I slept while listening music on my BB curve 8520. When I wake up in morning, its battery was drained.I am charging it from my computer, while its red light is on but still its not turning back on. and screen is totally black.
I noted after upgrading to lollipop os, that my screen does not totally off ( still some dim light is emitted from the screen) even when I have set the phone to time out the screen to after 5 mins is inactivity. Why is that so and what can I do to make it black out totally when screen is time out?
my iphone4 was working perfect until today. Now it is totally shut down and I don't know why because nothing has happend. I try to recharge it but nothing happens, the screen is black, there is no iphone known in itunes. I try to push the home and start button but nothing.
I got an iPhone 5s what the screen is totally black, but the touch screen and other functions are still working, has been replaced the LCD but it keep doing the same way.
i unlocked my screen and opened up the sms app. The screen went totally black and Android running in the back ground. The phone vibrates when i touch the screen but no respons from the screen. I booted it with vol+power button, did not work. I ran the sony connect application on my pc and got the phone reset and upgraded my software.
all of a sudden, after my dinner this evening, my S6 edge was completely unresponsive.
pressing the power button for 7+ seconds, as per Samsung, did not work at all. totally black screen, no response. pressing the volume DOWN button, power button, and the home button, also to no avail. on the other hand, while on the phone to TMobile's customer service to report this non-functional brand new phone,
i was continuing to press the abovementioned buttons frantically. well, while i was talking to TMobile via my landline, the phone eventually booted up. this was VERY haphazard. The only thing i recall reading about this was to press the power button for 7 seconds, which Samsung had said was the equivalent of pulling out the battery.
right. that's bogus. that did nothing for me. yet, by pressing the volume up or down button PLUS the power button PLUS the home button,
i don't know exactly which combination eventually worked, as i was trying various permutations, eventually, the phone booted up. this does not give me confidence in this phone.
What eventually i did to make this phone boot up eventually. all i did was to be on the phone with TMobile and press the power button plus the volume up or down button, plus the home button, and eventually, it rebooted and came back to life.
The face of my phone started going crazy every time I pushed the slider up. When support tried to trouble shoot we backed it up, re-installed the OS and now the entire face of the phone is black and unresponsive!
My N8's display always turns totally black when there is an incoming call, or even when thealarm rings. Before can see the caller's name and answer the call, I have to disable the screen's "keylock".I tried to find a point in the phone settings wher I can avoid this, but didn't find any.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. I still have the free loaner phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's bugging me as to what the problem could be. As of right now the computer can no longer detect the phone again
For some reason the screen on the C5 I have is totally zoomed in, so I cannot see any features just letters which are as big as the screen, how can I get it back to regular zoom?
My Playbook is on but screen is totally blank, as in black.Did the screen screen settings get messed up or do I need to start looking for someone to repair it?
I broke my Iphone 4S screen, how I can get it fixed? and usually how much will it cost. it seems like I need to change the hole new screen as it totally cracked
I woke up this morning only to have my blackberry screen all black it charges and my alarm went off at 7am i turned it off so it's working but I can't see anything.
My Blackberry Curve just stopped working one day and so I plugged it in and nothing happened. The screen was just black. My dad tested the connection of the charger to the phone and then the battery and it showed that the battery was toast. So, I went and bought a new battery the other day and I put it in and it was only half charged and so when I got home, I plugged it in. It showed that it was charging and it had the orange light like it was supposed to. Around an hour later I looked at it again and it went back to a black screen and wont turn on, but a red light flashes when its plugged in.
My phone has been damaged for a while with a cracked screen which has gradually been turning pink. HOwever the other day the screen suddenly wouldn't work at all. The screen is all black and wont do anything apart from when I plug it into the mains to charge it will have a red light but nothing else
I have just updated the software of my Nokia C5-03 from version 21.0.003 to 22.0.007 (latest version) by using Nokia Software Updater. The update process running well until it is completed. But after that, my the touchscreen of my hand-phone totally disabled (not responding at all). I reapeated the process of reinstalling software version 22.0.007 several times by using Nokia Software Updater, but the problem remain the same.
I recently noticed on my blackberry 9360 that there is a black line on the screen that keeps getting bigger. I haven't dropped my phone and there hasn't been any water damage. What causes the line?
i bought a blackberry 9360 on Saturday 17th December and it worked fine on that day and then i turned it off and put it back in its box, the next day when i went to turn it on, the screen wasjust completley black but the keypad lights would still be on and the LED light would be flashing red, i could even hear the sound of me getting a new message, i turned it off again and left it for the rest of the day and i turned it on monday and the same has happened, the screen is still black when i turn it on i havent even properly used it yet!
I am writeing to ask how to solve a problem i am haveing its a black screen and the device dose not connect to desktop software and i tried app loader and it dont respond there i have a black berry curve 9320
I wanted to use my Blackberry, so I took it out. I pressed the back button, so my screen would show. The screen was black, so I decided to press the end call button (Red). Still, nothing seemed to light up, the screen was black. So I removed my battery, put it back in. The LED light turned red for a couple of minuets, then turned off but the screen was still black. Tried connecting it to my USB Cable to the computer + the charge cable, but both to no prevail. I then thought maybe my screen is just temporarily bugging, maybe a call would do the trick. I tried calling my phone, but it went straight to voicemail. (Meaning the phone is off). The LED light shows, so what could be the problem?
I've had problems before with the white screen but then a few days ago my screen was black but I was getting sound land flashing light wen I receive n messages/ emails and rings when I get calls. When I pull the battery it comes back on and screen shows for 2minutes but none of the keys will work anow then it goes black again
A couple days ago my blackberry curve's battery died while I was on a bus. By the time I got back to a charger I noticed that it wouldn't turn on and when I plugged it into the wall, it wouldn't charge or indicate with the LED light that it was charging. I decided to pull out my battery and put it back in, and there was no results. I did the same thing but this time I plugged it into the computer, my curve was still inresponsive. I also left it plugged into a wall unit for +3 hours, when I came back, it still wasn't working.
TL;DR (too long; didn't read): My Curve won't turn on, the screen is completley black and the LED light doesn't flash or even turn on.
My Blackberry curve ran out of battery so I've left it to charge for several hours. The red LED light is on (constant) but I'm unable to switch it on. The screen is black - haven't seen anything on the screen. Have tried removing the battery and putting it back.
I'm have a black screen with an hour glass off and on for 2 weeks! Sprint is my service provider and they switched my phone with a refurbished phone with the same problem. I'm wondering why I have to join a forum and not be able to speak with anyone from BB?! Sprint has the worst customer service reps! And as a customer for 10 years with a company that you pay your bill on time, in full, 3 lines, with insurance why I'm being given a used phone?! I'm beyond annoyed and frustrated with this phone and Sprint.
i have only had my blackberry for a few months, i tried installing an update last night and it said it needed to reboot, i clicked ok and now i have a black screen with a red flashing light, i have put the phone on charge, it won't turn on or connect to the computor
