Honestly I've never been so disappointed about a product. When I go to crop a picture, the screen goes black, gets really hot, and then shuts off.
So tonight I go to crop a picture, keeping in mind only some pictures don't crop, and the phone does its thing, shuts off, and.. Cracks.

I cracked my 3G screen last week. It was my first time dropping since buying it on day one. I had it in my lap (which i normally never do) while driving and it fell flat on its face when i was getting out. I've already ordered a replacement glass and digitizer since the phone still works perfectly. My problem is that I can now see dust specks accumulating under the glass. What's the safest way to clean the LCD when I'm taking it apart?

I just bought the phone a little less then a month ago. i bought it a telcel retail store and there is no apple retail store to take it for the warranty what should i do ?

So about a month ago i was getting out of my car with loose pockets, and of course my iphone fell out and cracked on both sides. I brought it into at and t today and they said i was not eligible for a warranty replacement because it only covers manufacturing problems. I dropped my iPhone as I was cleaning it off. The LCD screen is cracked and it now has these dark lines going across. How much is it to replace it? My iPhone 5 screen has been cracked for a few weeks but worked fine. Yesterday the screen went black but Siri still worked. When I plugged it in to charge, it started beeping as if i were constantly unplugging it then plugging it back in. At first the screen would light up even though it was black but now the screen wont light up at all. I ordered a new screen to replace it but now I am thinking that it is more than the screen. I plugged it in to my computer and it doesn't recognize it at all. Use the same cord to plug it back in to the wall and it starts beeping again.

My iPhone 5c screen cracked and then eventually blacked out. So i ended up purchasing another LCD Display and changed it all out myself, however, my screen has lines going through the screen and it is not responding to my touch, I think that it has something to do with the connecters for the screen because sometimes I might be able to see the wallpaper and then sometimes the screen will be white with the lines going through it.

Ok. So my lock button stopped working on my iPhone 4 yesterday. It was 'sticky' (not clicking very well) for a few hours now it ceases to even work.
I also have a cracked screen (which occured 3 months ago now) that I tried to get replaced. Unfortunately they weren't happy that day or something and didn't grant me the one time free replacement that they seem to be giving out everywhere else. Anyway, so I decided not to pay the $180 because the crack isn't too big and it doesn't stretch too far onto the actual LCD screen.
So my question is... If I go to the Apple store regarding the lock button, will they deny me a free replacement because the screen is cracked and they will just pin the blame on that? I am still within the one year warranty too.
Also, for future reference, does a cracked screen void the free warranty replacement for any problems encountered, whether it be hardware, software or mechanically related?

I went to apple store today and they will NOT replace it because the screen is cracked and the damage could have affected the button. How could all of a sudden a cracked screen make a button stuck completely? I have read alot of reviews about how some apple techs will replace your phone, and others make you pay the 200$ to get a new one. Why should i have to pay 200$ for something that is apples error? Ok no problem, cracked screen still works i can live with it. Now today my screen is blanking in and out basically i cant see anything on the screen. This sucks, the SF600 headphones failed me twice i should have never even tried them.Let me note I still have my 32gb 1g ipod touch which has been smashed and dropped on cement so many times guess what screen never cracked, not once the thing still works for crying out loud! Sad thing is i might buy another unit but motorola really has some suspect issues. I am thankfull i bought this unit from amazon warehouse deals and was issued a credit due to an incompelte box so out of pocket was maybe $150. But jeezus Motorola lets make some stufff that can last and survive an accidental drop.
