Jul 29, 2010Just got my new satio and after many thing,s of trying to ring out and connect to internet after just opening it all up and and registering the sim and phone with orange, still didnt work. so looked on orange site and read about the auto update wich stated should qure any previous problems with softtware regardless of what was installed. off i went to do the update on a fully charged phone did as stated hold call key while connecting Usb lead, update started after downloading latest version. after installing then doing as the auto installed states unplugged cable and restarted phone. now it wont fire up at all just the power on light hang,s? could this be dead or something i can do cannot try soft/hard reset as it wont come to life to type anything and now when connected to USB lead comes up as an unrecognised device.

Aug 10, 2011how to fix my brand new MOTONAV TN765? I downloaded the "latest" map update, which seemed to run without problem. Unplugged the USB cable (as directed) and let it start to unpack the images. It locked up a couple of seconds into the "update process." I have tried to power off and back on- still locked up at same place. I have tried to re-plug in the USB- still locked up. Tried inserting a SIM chip, no luck. Tried the small reset button on the bottom of the device- no change.

When I press the lock button the screen turns off for about 5 seconds, then lights up again, and stays lit. I can't see anything in the Options menu that will fix it. Jun 11, 2015I've had my S5 for a year now. I noticed ever since the 5.0 upgrade that i got in April for my ATT S5 that I have been missing calls and texts due to my phone going into silent in my pocket because the dreaded volume keys are able to press themselves in my pocket even with the screen locked and off. I don't see an option to stop this behavior and to me it seems like an OBVIOUS place for there to be an option.
What can I do to stop this? Even worse sometimes it will click up to a high ringtone volume and go off when I am in a meeting at work.

I'm still on the road and don't have access to my main computer to back up. I can pull up Yahoo mail in Safari and read emails from Yahoo's website fine. Â

I've been researching forums and seems to be the case that lock is indefinite. Incidentally, I didn't see the option after 10 tries to enter word 'blackberry' but it was late at night and frustration had kicked in. Possibly I missed that.
