I went on vacation where cell service and Wifi were both very spotty. Now that I'm back to good service area, my email won't download. Old folders bring up prior emails but inbox remains totally empty. I've tried several hard restarts & deleting and reinstalling Yahoo email account. Â
I'm still on the road and don't have access to my main computer to back up. I can pull up Yahoo mail in Safari and read emails from Yahoo's website fine. Â
Have an issue with 1 user. When he deletes email from Outlook (on Mac), it remains in the inbox on his iPhone. This will remain even if he does a manual sync. If he empties the Deleted Items forder in Outlook it will remove them from the iphone. If he deletes the email from his iPhone it will be deleted in Outlook.
have removed and re-added his account to the iPhone with no help.
Since a few weeks my incoming and outcoming calls are visible only in the general phone call history. If I ask to view the call history of a specific contact the activity is registered only until two weeks ago. Contacts with recent activity only have the call history empty. Also in the contacts' recent activity (at the bottom of the contact details) I find only messages ecc. but no recent call history, only calls of more than 2 weeks ago are in there.
There is just a name. For example, John Smith. But when I click it its empty, there are no messages. Does it mean that they tried to text me but it didn't go through?
Suddenly today after deleting a handful of messages out of one mailbox it suddenly says that mailbox has 4294967295 messages. There is nothing in the mailbox. If I send mail to it, the count changes to 1 until I delete that message then it goes back to 4294967295. I have deleted the account and recreated it but that didn't fix it.
I got a user whos just recently upgraded to the E72. After the inital setup of MFE, she noticed that her inbox was empty, I tried reinstalling the mailbox, restarted the E72, it didn't work. I then tried putting her sim in my own E72, setting up the mailbox, using her settings, then my inbox got deleted and left empty. I swapped SIM again, and was slightly going into panic as my inbox was still empty after I applied my MFE settings, a reboot however, fixed it. Then I tried deleting/moving what was in her inbox on the PC, still no success. I then tried putting the sim in a old E61 and this time it registrered a test email. So the inbox seems to work on the E61 and not the E72 for some strange reason.
I woke up this morning and in the inbox for the default sms / mms / messaging app only had draft messages I hadn't sent in it. My contacts seem fine but I can't find the messages anywhere. If I send a contact a text the old texts do not appear either.
So I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.
my texts are all gone suddenly and my inbox happens to be empty and i tried to restart my phone for a few times but i still cant recover all of my text.the thing here is, there are so many important text and contact in my inbox.i dont know what the **** is goin on here and i just need some guide to recover all those texts.
I used to store all texts in memory card. Yesterday as usual I tried to open the msg frm my frnd and suddenly the phone freezed. I had to remove the battery and put it back to make phone working, but then I was shocked to see that inbox was empty! I'm confused as what would've been wrong. I had around 5000+ texts. Is that a reason or could it be a virus?

I used the search option to search for Twitter messages so I could delete them. Deleting the messages took several tries, which surprised me. Device software version 4 had no problems with this process. Anyway, my SMS and MMS Inbox now appears to be empty. I have to perform a search to see my new SMS/MMS messages.
I had already backed up my device and restored my SMS/MMS inbox from that backup file, but it will not show all current traffic, just items I have sent. I have to do a search to see any current stuff. What do I need to do to rebuild my SMS inbox so I can see all of my messages again? Doing a search every time I get a new SMS takes too much time.
The "unread BBM message notification" icon at the top of the screen tells me I have new messages - but my inbox is empty. This has been happening for the past week and roughly everyday I get a new phantom message. I am now up to 9 new messages but I have no idea where they are.
I have the icon showing up that I received emails but the inbox are empty. When I pull the battery the icon goes away. With the next regular email the icon shows up again. I don't want to have to pull the battery every time I have an empty inbox.
Using inbox. I started using this app a few weeks ago. I delete an email, it goes to the trash. How do you empty the trash? If i long press on the email it comes up with a trash can. Don't press that because it just moves it back to the inbox. Not sure how this works.
Havin some trouble this morning, did as battery pull this morning and when the phone rebooted, I see 27 unread txt msg in the home screen, but when I go to my inbox there is nothing there, any one have any idea what's going on here, tried a battery pull again and still nothing.
I keep finding that my emails disappear from the inbox on my iPhone. I've just replaced my iPhone 4 (which didn't have any problems with emails) with an iPhone 4s. I get an email and within 5 minutes the inbox empties. I can see it moving up like I've swiped the screen and then cannot find it anywhere.
I am having an Empty message (not Blank Message). It takes up the space of a text message but the recipient name or the message is not shown in inbox. When I tried to Open the message it said 'Unsupported message type'. This message is not even getting deleted saying 'Error occurred. Deletion not completed'. I got this problem already Twice. What happened further is, After sometimes more of such msgs starts to appear, and then suddenly all saved messages will get deleted.
Then all the applications (including basic applications like calculator) will get deleted. I gave to Nokia service centre. They just said it could be virus so they got my mobile, gave back (installing the software again I guess, I don't think they Cleaned Virus as told by them) and told me to use memory card after scanning. I scanned the card with the top antivirus - with up to date virus database. So I am very much sure there is no virus in my Memory card.
I have an iPhone 4s and I sync my email from an exchange server. I have mail that is delivered to sub-folders in my inbox but these emails do not appear on my phone but I can browse to the folders and see the emails. Is there for these emails to appear in inbox on the phone.
When i checked my email today it said "could not connect to server" and when i tried to delete the account (hotmail) and set it up again, it recovered all my DELETED EMAILS and moved them to my inbox as unread. So now i have like 2,226 unread emails.
First time for me and not sure if anyone could possibly help, or even if I posted this in the right place?This question concerns my daughter's bb Torch - over the last week or so she has been receiving, in her words 'randomly', huge numbers of old emails back into her hotmail account on both her laptop and bb.Trying to figure out whether it's a device problem, or maybe a hacker or something....The re-sent mails were all originally generated in her hotmail inbox, some from over a year ago, and are just simply reappearing all the time as new mail?
I have a HTC 1, and my emails disappear from my inbox every morning. It does not matter if I have read the email or ignored it, in the morning all of my mail has gone not to be found anywhere. I have tried all of the possible email settings.
I've had a BB for just about ever now - but I've never seen this before. I just added a new email acct to my phone and whenever I send messages (with just that account) I get a copy in my inbox as an unread message. The email goes through to the recipient and everything, but whenever I send from this account, I get a copy. Any idea why this could be happening? I've done resets, test emails and everything, nothing has seemed to work.I have a VZW BB Curve 3G 9330.I'm on BB OS 6.It's the third email account on my phone.I have done a soft reset a couple times already.
When I send an email out from my blackberry, I get a exact copy of it in my inbox. Blackberry see's the problem but does not know why it happenes. It goes on for 2 or 3 hours a day then just stops. This has been going on for 6 months. There are no forwards, rules or filters on the account and the account is set-up as POP. My carrier is Verizon, while my client has the exact same problem with his email account but uses ATT.
How to stop emails that I send from my Galaxy S5 phone from being sent to my own inbox via CC/BCC? I see there is a setting, but it doesn't appear that I can stop the emails.
