IPhone :: 4S Only Shows About 10-20 Emails In My Inbox

Nokia :: 5800 - Messaging Inbox - Phone Inbox Only Shows Number And Not Name
Mar 15, 2010I've just bought a Nokia 5800 handset recently. It seems to me that even though I actually saved a contact's number in my phone, when he messages me the phone inbox only shows his number and not his name, even though I already saved his number under my phonebook.
Is there anyway to solve this such that it'll display his name instead? Its kind of pointless if I have to keep checking back to my phonebook to see who has messaged me, since I don't remember my friend's numbers and stuff.
On a note I saved all of my friend's number without the region number. That is as im living in Singapore, a contact's number would be saved as follows: 91234567 without the region code of +65. Thing is in my inbox all the phone number displayed shows the region code of +65 along with the number, but seriously even my super old phone can recognise that both 91234567 and +6591234567 are of the same person and displays the name correctly in the inbox.
BB Bold 9700 :: Emails To Messages Inbox Rather In Gmail Inbox?
Jan 5, 2010So I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

Jun 19, 2014I keep finding that my emails disappear from the inbox on my iPhone. I've just replaced my iPhone 4 (which didn't have any problems with emails) with an iPhone 4s. I get an email and within 5 minutes the inbox empties. I can see it moving up like I've swiped the screen and then cannot find it anywhere.

Mar 11, 2010Been using the N900 for a few weeks now, replacing one of my superb E90s. So far, sort of so good, the major differences in the user interface are causing a few issues, but I sort of expected that!Does anyone have any answers to the following please?
1. Is there some way of being notified of my emails better? I have four accounts on my Nokia Messaging account, and I have to open each one and check each inbox individually. Pain in the neck; is there an app that shows on the main menu screen what new emails are in which box?
2. Can SMS be marked read? My N900 keeps reporting that I have so many new SMSs, but I have actually read them;
3. Why do all my contacts' birthdays come up twice in the calendar? That's just annoying - it looks as though the N900 is adding a birthday automatically;
4. Is there a setting to allow the system to change from portrait to landscape and back again? My device only seems to do this on a few applications - is this normal?
5. Skype - is there a way to see which contacts are on line, other than having to wade through the contact lists? I have over 2,000 contacts and it is pretty time consuming, if I am just looking for a chat with anyone about.

Apr 9, 2012I have an iPhone 4s and I sync my email from an exchange server. I have mail that is delivered to sub-folders in my inbox but these emails do not appear on my phone but I can browse to the folders and see the emails. Is there for these emails to appear in inbox on the phone.

Jun 7, 2010whenever i get a msg and i open it .it shows the different received time.it is far behind the original time been set in the mobile. is there any settings that i could change it.the mobile model is nokia 2700 classic and i bought it just two days before. it is happening for all the msg by different people.is there any solution for this? is there any settings i could change to get the right timing?. i highly depend on the received timing since i could not get when exactly the people sent msg to me.help me with this?

Jun 28, 2014I went on vacation where cell service and Wifi were both very spotty. Now that I'm back to good service area, my email won't download. Old folders bring up prior emails but inbox remains totally empty. I've tried several hard restarts & deleting and reinstalling Yahoo email account. Â
I'm still on the road and don't have access to my main computer to back up. I can pull up Yahoo mail in Safari and read emails from Yahoo's website fine. Â

Sep 4, 2014When i checked my email today it said "could not connect to server" and when i tried to delete the account (hotmail) and set it up again, it recovered all my DELETED EMAILS and moved them to my inbox as unread. So now i have like 2,226 unread emails.

Apr 14, 2010I have the icon showing up that I received emails but the inbox are empty. When I pull the battery the icon goes away. With the next regular email the icon shows up again. I don't want to have to pull the battery every time I have an empty inbox.

I just added a new email acct to my phone and whenever I send messages (with just that account) I get a copy in my inbox as an unread message. The email goes through to the recipient and everything, but whenever I send from this account, I get a copy. Any idea why this could be happening? Dec 13, 2011When I send an email out from my blackberry, I get a exact copy of it in my inbox. Blackberry see's the problem but does not know why it happenes. It goes on for 2 or 3 hours a day then just stops. This has been going on for 6 months. There are no forwards, rules or filters on the account and the account is set-up as POP. My carrier is Verizon, while my client has the exact same problem with his email account but uses ATT.

May 21, 2015After a long wait, my company renegotiated our cell phone plan, and I've upgraded from an iPhone 4 to an HTC One M9. So far I'm really enjoying it, save for a few minor details.
I have two email accounts. A gmail account (personal) and an exchange account (work). I really dislike the stock email app so I switched to TypeMail. I really like the layout and the unified inbox; however, more often than not read emails on my computer, and doing so doesn't clear notifications on my phone. This is something I never had a problem with on my iPhone. Reading emails on my computer generally doesn't make them appear as read IN the TypeMail inbox on on the TypeMail widget either. I have to refresh. This is true for both email accounts.
