Jun 15, 2011If you use RoadRunner and are having trouble setting it up to send using your Motorola Atrix 4G, you should do this:Go to the Outgoing Server section for your roadrunner email account on your cell phone.For SMTP server - Enter m[URL] (Do not enter anything else. Do not put "smtp-server" in front like you do for the incoming POP3 set-up)For Port: enter 25 For Username: Enter your complete roadrunner address For Password: Enter the password you use for that roadrunner address Press "OK" Press "OK" again I would then go to that Roadrunner account and send out a test email. I put the following in my test:I sent it to another RoadRunner account (I have 5 RoadRunner accounts so I sent it to one that I have not changed the outgoing settings for).In this email I typed on the subject line: From Cell to (something to identify the email address I sent it to) using the mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com setup. (I then put the time here)I put the same thing in the subject line.I did this so I would know what settings I used and the time it was sent. It was sent at the same time in lightning speed.

Mar 21, 2011I just got my first Blackberry so i haven't figured out everything yet but one thing i noticed is that i don't always receive notifications when i received a new email.Maybe this is going to sound stupid but it seems to work fine during the day but at night... not so much. i just don't receive notifications and with me working at night, that is rather bad.

This morning I went to start a new email and usually I type the first letter and all contacts starting with a letter J for example will come up - - But nothing comes up! I checked my phonebook and all contacts are in there like normal, but my email won't pick any up. I can type the whole name of a person I want to email and it's not linking it to my contact list/phone book like normal.

Mar 11, 2010Been using the N900 for a few weeks now, replacing one of my superb E90s. So far, sort of so good, the major differences in the user interface are causing a few issues, but I sort of expected that!Does anyone have any answers to the following please?
1. Is there some way of being notified of my emails better? I have four accounts on my Nokia Messaging account, and I have to open each one and check each inbox individually. Pain in the neck; is there an app that shows on the main menu screen what new emails are in which box?
2. Can SMS be marked read? My N900 keeps reporting that I have so many new SMSs, but I have actually read them;
3. Why do all my contacts' birthdays come up twice in the calendar? That's just annoying - it looks as though the N900 is adding a birthday automatically;
4. Is there a setting to allow the system to change from portrait to landscape and back again? My device only seems to do this on a few applications - is this normal?
5. Skype - is there a way to see which contacts are on line, other than having to wade through the contact lists? I have over 2,000 contacts and it is pretty time consuming, if I am just looking for a chat with anyone about.

Apr 24, 2012I have an iPhone 4 and am running iOS 5.1. I use Microsoft's Exchange as my email server/ISP. I receive all my emails on the Exchange server, and they properly download to my MS Outlook 2010 when I open Outlook on my Dell XPS running Windows 7 and a 64-bit OS.
But I do not receive all my emails on my iPhone, and this is a problem. Question: How can I make my iPhone receive ALL of my emails?
Prior to my use of Microsoft Exchange I used Earthlink as my email server/ISP, and I had similar issues; that is, some emails were not received on my iPhone, but were received on Earthlink, and were downloaded to an earlier version of Outlook on the same PC.
