Is it possible I can setup email on E72 to show more than 2 mail box on desktop. I have set 3 mailboxes but E72 just shows gmail and hotmail on desktop,and my 3rd email account is just in email folder, not desktop! how can I solve it?
View 5 RepliesBeen using the N900 for a few weeks now, replacing one of my superb E90s. So far, sort of so good, the major differences in the user interface are causing a few issues, but I sort of expected that!Does anyone have any answers to the following please?
1. Is there some way of being notified of my emails better? I have four accounts on my Nokia Messaging account, and I have to open each one and check each inbox individually. Pain in the neck; is there an app that shows on the main menu screen what new emails are in which box?
2. Can SMS be marked read? My N900 keeps reporting that I have so many new SMSs, but I have actually read them;
3. Why do all my contacts' birthdays come up twice in the calendar? That's just annoying - it looks as though the N900 is adding a birthday automatically;
4. Is there a setting to allow the system to change from portrait to landscape and back again? My device only seems to do this on a few applications - is this normal?
5. Skype - is there a way to see which contacts are on line, other than having to wade through the contact lists? I have over 2,000 contacts and it is pretty time consuming, if I am just looking for a chat with anyone about.
I, stupidly, recently upgraded to the new DM v6 when prompted to do so.Since then, I have not been able to prevent emails arriving wirelessly when my BB is plugged into the software.I WANT THAT ABILITY BACK! Ok, I realise I may be weird in not wanting to have to deal with emails twice (desktop AND on my BB) but I have been happily using my BB for untethered email only. So, the question is: how do I stop my BB receiving emails while it is plugged into the DM? (I've not yet tried rolling back to the previous version of DM as that kinda offends my sense of progress.

The yahoo and googlemail work fine and the inbox,sent etc emails are as they should be and stay on the phone and on my PC at home when i log in but on my outlook account when i read the emails on my phone they disappear from the inbox (and phone) and are not there when i check on outlook express at home? when i first got the E72 it worked fine and emails i looked at on my phone remained on the phone and were at home on outlook express still?
i havent done anything different? i use this address currently to receive wedding RSVP's and they are disappearing? I cannot beleive i am the only one suffering this.
i want to add my company's email account. I select "Outlook" as the account Type.It then asks me for my email address and password. I enter them.The only option after that is to click "sign in". It does not ask me where the server is!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI joined Nokia Messaging service, downloaded the last version software using my Nokia E71 phone. When I signed for the service it asked me for my email account details, so I could not put the settings manually. The hotmail account works fine, but the other account cannot send messages. I cannot change the outgoing settings using my phone and I cannot edit the information on the nokia messaging website.
The incoming server seems to be ok (mail1.doctors.org.uk) but I cannot change the server details : smtp2.realmail-asp.co.uk. My provider is Tmobile (they gave me this: smtp.t-email.co.uk) they were not helpful and told me that they mainly support blackberry. My email accounts were working fine until I installed Nokia Messaging. I find Nokia Messaging very professional for messaging, but unsure if I will be able to make it work.
My default Microsoft account will not send emails, it syncs incoming mail just fine but for outgoing mail it always returns a windows phone reply saying that the message cant be sent and is saved in drafts. I tried setting a my yahoo mail acc as my default but it doesn't work either. In fact the messages are just moved to the outbox folder and stay there. No windows phone reply, nothing.

I can only see the Gmail account in my calendar. I want to add other accounts in my clendar and use them. When I got to the calendar options I can only see the default one as my gmail and have no options to change it. I specially wanted to add the face book calendar but none of the other accounts are visible. get the other accounts to my calendar.

On the "Select Organizer Data to Synchronize" it shows that the Calendar is "not installed". I've noticed something, and this issue has been discussed in other posts, but not rectified to my satisfaction. If I delete an email on my BB, it does not delete on my Gmail account on a desktop or laptop. This can be incredibly frustrating. I tried using the Gmail mobile BB app, but it doesn't display HTML email, and my BB is used mostly for personal not for business. Maintaining an orderly email account is proving extremely difficult. I've had the DELETE ON: MAILBOX AND HANDHELD set both ways, and i've had the sync option on the MANAGE EMAIL ACCOUNTS submenu checked and unchecked, and it doesn't work any way i can set it.

Having just bought a "Bold 9700" I am new to the BlackBerry-World. I would like to sync my emails (e.g. the emails I wrote and sent on the road) and the adress book entries of the device (software version 5.0.0.423) with "Windows Mail" on my home computer (OS Visa, SP 2). Up to now I couldn't find out how to do this, either with the "Desktop Manager" (version 5.0.1) or with some other piece of software (???). Potentialy it looks like the "DesktopManager" could be up to this task, but the box to check for this is not highlighted, so I can not select this option.

I really only want my school and gmail emails to come through to my phone and would like my hotmail account (spam/misc. account) to only be accessible when I go into the actual email account, and not get 100 emails an hour from it. View 1 Replies View RelatedThe track-pad on my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 stopped working so Sprint replaced my BlackBerry earlier today and I haven't received an email yet on my new BlackBerry. Email setup brings me to the screen where I, "Move Email Accounts", and after I click it, it says that the device change was successful and prompts me to enter my password. After doing so, it takes me to a screen to synchronize my contacts and when I click that, it says, "Activation failed. An error was encountered when sending the activation transmission." I REALLY don't feel like running down to Sprint again and asking them to configure the email for me. I need my emails.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo here is the deal I had gotten the Eris on VZW when it came out and put my yahoo email on it when it had the 1.5 OS and when I would delete email off the phone it would not delete it from my email account which I prefer, but now I have gotten tired of HTC/VZW to approve 2.0 OS and have loaded a leaked version onto my phone and now the email also deletes from my account when I delete it from my phone which I don't like besides that very happy with the 2.1 update that I did I was just wondering if there is any way to tell your phone not to delete the emails from the actual account when you delete them from the phone because I accidentally deleted an important email not realizing it also deletes on account.
