i want to add my company's email account. I select "Outlook" as the account Type.It then asks me for my email address and password. I enter them.The only option after that is to click "sign in". It does not ask me where the server is!
View 1 RepliesMy default Microsoft account will not send emails, it syncs incoming mail just fine but for outgoing mail it always returns a windows phone reply saying that the message cant be sent and is saved in drafts. I tried setting a my yahoo mail acc as my default but it doesn't work either. In fact the messages are just moved to the outbox folder and stay there. No windows phone reply, nothing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedGot a new Lumia 950 about 10 days ago. Set up my 2 email accounts (Gmail, Exchange) and, initially, they both worked correctly. I was receiving messages and could reply.
Starting two days ago, out of the blue, I can no longer send messages. I am still receiving messages on both accounts. But, attempts to reply (or send a new message) result in a red "x" showing up in my inbox (next to my sent message). When I click on the message that did not send, it says "There was an error sending your message."
I just tried deleting both email accounts and reconnecting them. No luck.
The application in Weather ( Microsoft ) and Weather Tap Plex
Both these apps have Lock screen capabilities, i.e., they can display the temperature with wall paper.
I'd seen that both of them work pretty fine ( except the microsoft weather app temperature is not accurate).
The issue showed up after I configured my corporate email ( microsoft exchange server ).
After this, though the settings show that lock screen has weather configured, when i check the lock screen, it shows the weather based wall paper, but the temperature never shows up.
I have tried these weather apps individually but whatever be the settings or options, the lock screen only shows the exchange server calendar and email notification and the wallpaper from weather App, but never shows the temperature.

Emails, contacts and calenders etc get synced with our exchange server but e72 shows connected but the emails or the contacts des not get downloaded (synced). I tried this with E71 same problem. But on iphones and android etc. based handsets it works absolutely high.

I have downloaded an SSL certificate copied from old windows mobile device (so i know the certificate is good). The certificate says it installed on the Lumia but I am still getting error message saying certificate is not trusted. I suspect the certicate is installed in the wrong place on the phone.

- I put in the email and the password, it wont connect
-I then key in my username, it still wont connect
- I Press Advanced
- Then I key in the Server (Webserver) without the "https://"
- The Sign in button is gray and it wont connect
- I uncheck the SSL option, no cange
- I've mailed the SSL Certificarte, and tried both with SSL on an SSL of, still the Sign In button is gray.
Since it is Windows on the phone, there should be no problems connecting with MS Exchange i should think.This have been working quite easy with my iPhone and HTC with Android.there I just keyd in Mailadress, username, password and server.

The yahoo and googlemail work fine and the inbox,sent etc emails are as they should be and stay on the phone and on my PC at home when i log in but on my outlook account when i read the emails on my phone they disappear from the inbox (and phone) and are not there when i check on outlook express at home? when i first got the E72 it worked fine and emails i looked at on my phone remained on the phone and were at home on outlook express still?
i havent done anything different? i use this address currently to receive wedding RSVP's and they are disappearing? I cannot beleive i am the only one suffering this.
I joined Nokia Messaging service, downloaded the last version software using my Nokia E71 phone. When I signed for the service it asked me for my email account details, so I could not put the settings manually. The hotmail account works fine, but the other account cannot send messages. I cannot change the outgoing settings using my phone and I cannot edit the information on the nokia messaging website.
The incoming server seems to be ok (mail1.doctors.org.uk) but I cannot change the server details : smtp2.realmail-asp.co.uk. My provider is Tmobile (they gave me this: smtp.t-email.co.uk) they were not helpful and told me that they mainly support blackberry. My email accounts were working fine until I installed Nokia Messaging. I find Nokia Messaging very professional for messaging, but unsure if I will be able to make it work.
I added my hotmail account on my N900 but now it says that I have about 2000 unread emails.How can I easily mark all emails as read or get it to only receive new emails?

The company I work for does not have a BES server. though other people have successfully added their outlook accounts.Some said this maybe a restriction on the sim card. should I ring.The phone was not bought on contract. At the time I just left it alone since I thought it had to do with the outage. However, she still isn't receiving emails. I've tried to troubleshoot this by re-creating her account but I keep getting authentication failures that get delivered to the users mailbox. She contacted her provider and they were no help. I've also tried setting this up on another phone and run into the same issue. As far as the server itself, there hasn't been any changes at all.

Our CEO has an Iphone 4s running IOS5. Whenever he sends an email from his exchange account it does not show up in sent items on the phone or in his exchange box. Instead it shows on the phone on a POP account. Now the POP account was the first account he configured on the phone. However, I have not found a setting for any type of defualt mail account that I can disable.

On the 1st October I had a message to request that to validate my work/exchange email account on my Torch 9800. Not sure why I was asked as nothing had been changed on my work server at that particular time. Anyway, II had done this succesfully numerous times previously so knew the process to follow. However on this occasion i received a message to say that my email address or username were incorrect.
With the help of my system administrator I tried numerous times on the device and on a web browser on my pc to validate my details. All with no success. Strangely a couple of times when I requested a new password from the o2/BB internet help service, I was told that a message had been successfully sent to my device. Nothing was ever received either as a text or at my registered email address.
I assumed my problem was associated with all the widely reported BB server problems, but when that was resolved by BB I still could not validate my email. In exasperation I deleted the account from my device and tried to reset it up again as a new one. Sadly when I try - and there have been too many now to recall - all I ever get is the message to 'verify my email address, username and password'. All these have been confirmed numerous times by my system administrators, and they now believe my account may have been blocked or something?
