View 1 Replies View RelatedLet the guy in the store "sync" with Desktop Manager. No link through enterprise server until I can get to office computer but that's ok. I am trying to work through MSN account. But it won't receive emails, it won't send emails and it won't let me change the set up.
When I go into setup, it asks for the user name and password. I use my msn user name (inclusive of the @msn.com) and it says it is too short and must be 4 characters! It is! If I leave off the @msn.com, it says my info is wrong.
And I can't figure out how to remove the email account so I can try setting it up again.I did try to set up my gmail account - same issue.
All of a sudden, I cannot send emails from my email account. It sends a copy to my outbox and it says the message cannot be sent because the server does not allow relaying.

My BlackBerry 9900 has suddenly stopped receiving emails which are diverted from my office, I also can't send emails from that address. Another email account is working absolutely fine.

I can now receive email, but I cannot send / reply to emails. The only option I get is to "Save Draft".
I joined Nokia Messaging service, downloaded the last version software using my Nokia E71 phone. When I signed for the service it asked me for my email account details, so I could not put the settings manually. The hotmail account works fine, but the other account cannot send messages. I cannot change the outgoing settings using my phone and I cannot edit the information on the nokia messaging website.
The incoming server seems to be ok (mail1.doctors.org.uk) but I cannot change the server details : smtp2.realmail-asp.co.uk. My provider is Tmobile (they gave me this: smtp.t-email.co.uk) they were not helpful and told me that they mainly support blackberry. My email accounts were working fine until I installed Nokia Messaging. I find Nokia Messaging very professional for messaging, but unsure if I will be able to make it work.
I use the Tour on the Verizon network. This morning I went to start a new email and usually I type the first letter and all contacts starting with a letter J for example will come up - - But nothing comes up! I checked my phonebook and all contacts are in there like normal, but my email won't pick any up. I can type the whole name of a person I want to email and it's not linking it to my contact list/phone book like normal.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I've had my Curve 9300 for about a week, and until now it has been able to receive emails (at least those sent to me gmail account) absolutely fine. As of yesterday 1am, the 30 or so emails sent to my gmail haven't appeared on my Blackberry. If I try to send a message I get the standard 'packet error' message. I've googled for various solutions, but they all seem directed at users with older blackberries, so I haven't been able to use them.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530. I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email. However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured". That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry. I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up. But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done.
I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone. I am a bit of an electrical gimp.
I can send emails but not receive them and it would appear that all my settings are correct. I have been in contact with Virgin Mobile technical department on numerous occasions and although the latest advice was to do a security wipe I was reluctant to do so hoping that there would be a more simple way to rectify the problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night my battery went dead on my phone. I charged it overnight and this morning I can not send or receive emails. I can send and receive text but not email. Can't go online for anything. Manage connections shows a check in Mobile Network and a green check after my provider name. It also shows a check and WI Fi on and in the box at the end of that is a dash. Bluetooth is off. When I click services statuses under Blackberry internet Services it shows NOT Connected. I'm not sure how to turn this on.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have set up two e-mail accounts on my new Blackberry 8520 Curve. A Gmail account which works fine and a Demon account. I can send e-mails on the Demon account but not receive e-mails. During the set up procedure I had to add the mail server details (pop3.demon.co.uk) and password.I have also received an e-mail from Orange (my carrier) asking me to update my password as messages from my e-mail address are not being delivered to the Blackberry device. When I do this nothing happens and it reverts to the email accounts screen which now shows the demon account as invalid. I have also tried to validate it by entering the password but again it reverts to the e-mail accounts screen.

I have tried messing with the settings, but I can't even access the web2go right now when I attempt to go into my email settings. It gives me an error message that says, "The site cannot be accessed in this manner. use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider." I have no idea what link they are talking about. I have tried a soft and hard reset to no avail, and can't find a solution online. Admittedly anything more than a reset is beyond my current knowledge.

I stopped receiving emails from my hotmail accont to my phone yesterday and then had a message from blackberry saying I needed to validate my email, which I did fine and also registered my blackberry ID. However, I still cannot send or receive my emais and when I try to send it comes up with an error message: 'User account is in INVALID mode'. I did change my hotmail password the other day; don't know if this is of importance. In addition, I have tried to modify the email account set up on my blackberry but it will not allow me to access the current account settings or allow me to add a new account, the option just doesn't exist or appear, which had not been an issue up until now. I could, however, set up an enterprise account if wanted. I am not sure who to contact about this so thought I'd post here first...

I was able to send and receive emails for about 3 days, then I suddenly stopped receving emails.I can send email from my outlook address, my Sent Items appear and my Outlook calendar items appear on the blackberry calendar.I'm just not receiving emails through the Inbox.I've contacted my carrier and my IT department at work, but no one can figure out why I'm not getting emails on the Curve.The usual fixes aren't working.

I got my blackberry curve 9300 and this morning received a message to let me know I am registered. I have registered my email address, (hotmail) and can send emails no problem. So far so good, except when I get a reply I get nothing on the blackberry but the replies are all in my hotmail inbox on my laptop. I have called geeks (carphone warehouse) and gurus at O2 and I have followed all their instructions. I managed to receive 1 email from my husband and then nothing since.

I went into email settings and sent the service books and that was no good. I reinstalled my O.S. and repeated the same process, and still no luck. My service providers technical support chat is closed right now and reopens tomorrow, so i'm on the support forum here to try to get some help from you guys. Can't send / receive email
