Unable to receive incoming email to 1 email account on BB Curve 9330. tried several times Sprint support on phone and at store. Able to send emails from that email but it shows only on desktop. Other email accounts are running just fine.

Been trying to set up another email account to recieve incoming mail, although cant remember how I done it. I currently have it set up for Hotmail but want to change it to my Gmail account instead.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been unable to receive email on my phone now for days. I initially did a batttery pull and this was unsuccessful. I have done everything possible, that I know of, to fix it on my own. I ended up doing a security wipe and now I cannot send emails either. When I try to send an email i get this message "no message services configured. You will be directed to the setup wizard to setup your email account". However, my email is already set up and I have deleted and readded it, with no luck. I have gone to my service provider- Bell- and they were unable to help me and said that I woudl have to contact Blackberry directly. I have no landline so I would have to go somewhere else in order to call so I can look at my phone at the same time.

When I try to set it up using the Nextel or Sprint link on the blackberry website, it tells me that: Your BlackBerry® Internet Service Account is suspended or deactivated. Please contact your wireless service provider at 1-800-639-6111. When I call that number, they tell me they cant help me because im on the boost network. When I call boost they tell me they cant help me because I have a NEXTEL blackberry...Can someone please help me get this email thing set up?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I first got it, about nine months ago, I set up my two email accounts and they worked perfectly. Then, some weeks ago I stopped receiving emails and I couldn't send either. I ended up removing both email accounts and then I set up one of them, tried it and it worked. Then I went and tried to set up the second one but I haven't been able to do so since.I go to Setup > Email Settings > Add > Gmail (the account I want to set up is on Gmail). I write the correct email address and password and click on Next, it says it's "Processing, prease wait..." and then every time it says "Update Failed".
I've tried also choosing Other instead of Gmail when trying to add the second account but at the end it gives me the same error, "Update Failed". have the BlackBerry Desktop Software 2.4.0 and I've looked there for an option to try and set up my second email account through the software but there just seems not to be such an option.'ve never had any other problem when it comes to the email or the internet connection in general.'ve been looking for a solution in the forum but I haven't found anything.
I am getting my sound alerts for incoming email from my Gmail account. Yet, when I go to read it, it's not there. I've checked other folders. I've done a hard reboot.

I have now created a new email account, but am unable to set it up on my blackberry. On the setup menu it still has my old email address and asks for the password, which I type in but as the accounts deactivated doesn't connect! Therefore I am stuck not being able to add a new email address to my phone.

I have rebooted my BB several times but it is not working.I also tried adding another email account to see if that one worked. The new account shows up in the email setup list but it doesn't appear on my homescreen for some reason. I then tried to delete one of the accounts a had setup before and I have a similar problem. The account no longer appears in the email setup menu, but it still shows on the homescreen.I have a BB Torch 9800 and I am on the Telus network in Canada

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a new phone because I lost my old one and I've been trying to restore my bb messenger contacts through the email option which I had done before with other blackberrys and had worked perfectly. This time, when I click on the option to restore it says that they have to send an email to verify that my email account is valid, I click ok and then it says that my email account (which is working perfectly on the phone) is invalid and they were unable to send a verification email and to check if the account is valid and try again later. I have been doing this for two days and nothing has changed.

Lets say if I have a new email i would like to use and would like to delete the old one off my iphone but it has all of my contacts on it, how do i transfer those contacts, notes, and calendars, to the new email account?
keep in mind that if i delete the email acount with the contacts, the contacts will no longer be on my phone as well as the notes. is there a way for me to transfer the contacts from the old email account to the new one so i can remove the old email account? too much spam.
