I am trying to set up a new Curve 9320 to receive email from my hotmail account. the email set up takes me directly to enterprise accounts and doesn't appear to have an option for setting up the internet email account.

The instruction stated that I needed to launch the Setup Wizard and click on the Email Accounts icon and then select the "Internet mail Account" icon to verify my password. I follow the instructions but, when I click on the "Internet mail Account" icon nothing happens and my only available option is "return to Setup".

I'm trying to set up email but atm its only giving me the option for setting up work email account with a BB enterprise server - I just want to set up a normal email account using my normal hotmail account but i cant get any further along as it asks for my enterprise activation password - which i obviously dont have?
Also - a few friend have gien me their pin so i can add them on BBM, i type the pin and it says contact pending but the person/s im trying to add get no notification that i'm trying to add them - we try it the other way with me giving them my pin and get the same result WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
I have just received my new bold 9700 handset. I have set up both my gmail and Hotmail accounts.Unfortunately, I can't seem to receive any mails from my hotmail on my handset even though they do arrive on my hotmail. This is not the case with gmail, which seems to work fine and push the emails to my handset as soon as they arrive. Can any one please help me out here?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just swapped a Bold for a Torch. I'm trying to sync my hotmail email account to it. I go to the set-up wizard as per usual and I'm told to "move my email accounts to receive emails to my new device" It tells me to insert my password, which I do. Message pops up saying the password has been verified. Then that's it. It just then has the option of returning to setup options. I go to my Messages folder and its tells me that no message services has been configured and it all starts again. My Facebook messages are in there but no hotmail.

Adding a different hotmail account works no problems, but this is my main account so I really need this on my phone
View 2 Replies View RelatedI received an email from Hotmail today advising that on 31st of May; I wouldn't get a text notifying me of new emails arriving in my Hotmail inbox.Its a bit of a shame really although not an insurmountable problem. Webmail has its uses afterall..I was just wondering if VirginMedia are the only affected users or if this is any/all mobile users who also have a Hotmail account?I'd love Hotmail's inbox to be a bit more mobile friendly. Get shot of the graphics and make it as basic as possible! I'm sure that idea will never amount to anything though.I do have to wonder if this is the start of email notification by text being phased out. Perhaps an attempt to reduce the drain on resources?

SMS, MMS, Blackberry messenger all work fine. My email account works fine if I log in through the browser. My wife has the same phone and also has a hotmail email account and hasn't had any problems.Any ideas on how to fix this?
