I noticed my emails not listed in chronological order (from the most recent first). I do not know how to fix this. I shut phone off and on but that dWhat could have cause this? How can I fix this??
View 3 RepliesI have a friend who just got their Curve 83XX from Verizon. They are telling me that their emails are showing in reverse order. They have to scroll down to see the newest emails. I have the 8310 and have not been able to locate any options to prevent or correct this. Has anyone run across this before and if so, how can this be corrected?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a storm2. Yesterday I started having problems viewing text messages. I have my email account and my sms/mms messages in two different buttons on the menu. When I tried viewing new text messages, they were not in the inbox. I soon realized that my emails were showing up in my sms and mms inbox. I had to go into Options and Inbox Settings and choose for sms and mms to be included in the "main message list". How to I get these messages to go back to separate places?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI ordered this on the 15th at about 5:30am, a little over an hour after it was released. I printed out the confirmation page and I have the confirmation page. Nothing shows up in my orders, and when I type to search my order using my phone number or order number, nothing comes up.Has this happened to anyone else?I have to call them when they open!Also, I don't have a confirmation e-mail, because it's a different account owner with a different e-mail.

I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.

So I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

But their names doesn't show in Inbox, only their phone numbers. What the **bleep**?I somehow added a friend of mine which IS showing, but I did that manually. I have a LOT of busines contacts where all I have is a Company name. These all show up as numbers with no name in my contacts list !!
Company Name doesnt seem to show up in the conatcts list.
Q1. How do I get the Company Name to SHOW up in the contacts list ?
Q2. How do I SORT my contacts list by Company (then LastName, then FirstName) ?
For some reason the order in which my call log and text message is laid out seems really which and not in chronological order as one might expect. Most recent calls are somewhere in the middle?? Is there a way to control this order int he settings somewhere?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get a definitive answer as have been researching this for weeks and despite my best efforts still have no solution.I am using the fantastic N900 (well done Nokia!) and would like all my music on the device. All efforts so far have transferred music ok but album tracks always appears in alphabetical order in the music player as opposed to the album track order(not much good). This is despite careful tagging and trying with Windows Media Player, Media Monkey & Songbird to see if any work best.
I found out today that this might be due to the file being a .wma file. All my music is ripped to my PC in .wma as in my experience I find the quality vs file size is great and better by far than .mp3.Today I ripped a CD with WMP as .mp3 and after sync the track order was correct (although I do not want to use WMP through choice and certainly not .mp3, let alone re rip my entire CD Collection), my preference would be Media Monkey or Songbird with .wma.
Is this a bug or N900 problem? (I know they are different but it worked fine on N97 and N95 8gb previously with MM and .wma) Can anyone help? or even offer a recommendation or suggestion as to what they think is best format, application or way to have music on the N900 etc.
I just preordered an iphone4 on apple's website and got an email verification, but it doesnt show up under my apple account order history. Does anyone have the same issue? I tried calling apple but of course they aren't taking any calls because of the craziness going on. I just want to make sure it went through and it's gonna be shipped to me and not some other random person.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just bought a Nokia 5800 handset recently. It seems to me that even though I actually saved a contact's number in my phone, when he messages me the phone inbox only shows his number and not his name, even though I already saved his number under my phonebook.
Is there anyway to solve this such that it'll display his name instead? Its kind of pointless if I have to keep checking back to my phonebook to see who has messaged me, since I don't remember my friend's numbers and stuff.
On a note I saved all of my friend's number without the region number. That is as im living in Singapore, a contact's number would be saved as follows: 91234567 without the region code of +65. Thing is in my inbox all the phone number displayed shows the region code of +65 along with the number, but seriously even my super old phone can recognise that both 91234567 and +6591234567 are of the same person and displays the name correctly in the inbox.
So, got excited about the MotoACTV this past Saturday and bought online through Motorola. Realized soon after that my local REI had it in stock and I had a xmas gift certificate. Went to REI and purchased it - (Canceled my order for the Garmin 910XT in the process) Went back to the site to try and cancel my order but the 'Cancel items or order' button on my order page wasnt' functional. No biggie, I'll call. After being passed around to the same 3 depts TWICE, I was finally told the ecommerce section was closed for the weekend. Once again, I understand that.I then call on Monday, they tell me the order hasn't yet shipped but I'm not allowed to cancel it at that point. Don't quite understand and getting a bit frustrated at this point but whatever, I'll deal. Customer rep tells me that they'll issue a return slip and email it to me.
OK, I'm good with that.Wednesday comes and still no email with return slip. I call, go through the same 3 depts again and get someone else who tells me that it takes a while to get the return slip but I'll have it within 24 hours.24 hours goes by, I call again and get hung up on 3 times in the process before I can ever get to anyone. Once I get someone on the line, they tell me that it should be to me within the next couple of days... A RETURN SLIP?Once I finally lost my temper a bit, they said it would be 'escalated' and that I should be receiving it within a few hours... we'll see. They also let me know that I could not return it without the receipt.Meanwhile, I've completely soured on the one that I purchased and I'm considering returning it as well and changing my order back to the Garmin. By the way, I called Garmin's support team just to compare... night and day!
After merging to a new email system my Curve has jumbled up all emails with no order by date. I can't find anywhere in the instructions or the machine to select viewing emails by date, newest first.

I just added a new email acct to my phone and whenever I send messages (with just that account) I get a copy in my inbox as an unread message. The email goes through to the recipient and everything, but whenever I send from this account, I get a copy. Any idea why this could be happening? I've done resets, test emails and everything, nothing has seemed to work.I have a VZW BB Curve 3G 9330.I'm on BB OS 6.It's the third email account on my phone.I have done a soft reset a couple times already.

When I send an email out from my blackberry, I get a exact copy of it in my inbox. Blackberry see's the problem but does not know why it happenes. It goes on for 2 or 3 hours a day then just stops. This has been going on for 6 months. There are no forwards, rules or filters on the account and the account is set-up as POP. My carrier is Verizon, while my client has the exact same problem with his email account but uses ATT.

All of a sudden I have a new friend and when I send him emails, they go to him AND show up in my inbox.
I tested a bunch of friend's emails and none came to my inbox.
How can I figure out why this ONE email address is coming to my inbox?
The Subject doesn't read "Re:" or "Fwd:"
It doen't show any other address in the TO:, and there is nothing in CC: or BCC:
I do not have the setting on to CC or BC myself - this started happening out of the blue.

My BB 9700 loose's all recieved emails on a daily basis, every morning once i recieve the 1st email of the day yesterdays are gone.
All my sent emails are still stored on the message lists
My general options are set to keep emails - forever.
I have my BB Curve 8520 activated for Enterprise Activation through the BB Desktop Software and have been getting my Business mails in my Inbox and was able to send outgoing messages too. This was working fine only for few hours yesterday and then the incoming emails just stopped. I have started using the BB only from the day before yesterday and think I have selected/deselected some option.
