I have a Bold 9700, everything was working perfectly up until this morning. I received a Facebook inbox message, but when I try and read it all it displays is the message subject and nothing else. Over the course of the day I received a few more inbox messages but all of them I can only see the message subject and not the message itself.I have reset the phone, deleted facebook and re-installed but did not work.
View 8 RepliesMy Iphone4 email inbox is showing there is over 1,000 messages in the inbox but in fact there is only a few and email on my pc shows correctly. I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.

Since I got the BB Bold 9900, I have had issues with facebook on it. The notifications box is checked off, but often the notificatons do not arrive until after I have gone into the Facebook Application, and physically hit "notifications". Suddenly my phone dings to say I someone wrote on my wall, etc.
In the past week, the messages in my inbox will not refresh. On my computer I know that i have about 4 new messages, but the last message I can see is from a couple days before my newest messages. Why can't I see them?? I don't want to have to turn on a computer everytime I want to read my inbox messages.
The facebook icon is permanently on my screen telling me I have 2 unread messages, but I haven't? How can I get rid of them? I have de-installed and re-installed FB but no joy!

The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

But their names doesn't show in Inbox, only their phone numbers. What the **bleep**?I somehow added a friend of mine which IS showing, but I did that manually. I then tried adding some of the others manually with no result - still showing only their numbers.Whats wrong?

When I tried viewing new text messages, they were not in the inbox. I soon realized that my emails were showing up in my sms and mms inbox. I had to go into Options and Inbox Settings and choose for sms and mms to be included in the "main message list". How to I get these messages to go back to separate places?

All of a sudden I have a new friend and when I send him emails, they go to him AND show up in my inbox.
I tested a bunch of friend's emails and none came to my inbox.
How can I figure out why this ONE email address is coming to my inbox?
The Subject doesn't read "Re:" or "Fwd:"
It doen't show any other address in the TO:, and there is nothing in CC: or BCC:
I do not have the setting on to CC or BC myself - this started happening out of the blue.

I just got a new Torch 9810 and after uninstalling and re-installing the FB application, I still cannot access all the msgs I previously had in my FB inbox. It keeps on saying "loading messages" but it never actually does. And now the FB application doesn't even show in My AppWorld..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've searched every forums and search engine for this, but cannont pin point my exact problem...I bought a 9780 yesterday, everything was fine, i set up my emails etc... everything worked.THEN... i stupidly security waped the phone this when things changed.Once the phone came back on i re-configured my email accounts, but now when i go onto my emails i see no inbox folder or emails what was there previouslyALTHOUGH i can send and recieve emails, but these come in list format...Ive made sure and uncheak the hide folder and sent numerous service book requests (these come through...)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI added a new gmail address to my phone, before that, I had my work e-mail, a different gmail address and my blackberry e-mail.All e-mails went directly into the main mailbox.They also went into the separate folders for each specific e-mail address. so if I wanted to only look at e-mails from email address #1, I just had to look in that folder.Well it still works for the first 3 e-mail address, but since I added the new gmail account, the e-mails on the new account only go to the main e-mail message folder.So if I go to the separate folder for the new gmail account it shows no e-mails at all.But if I go to the main inbox, any new e-mails to that account are shown there.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have deleted and re-added this account at least 3 times, I have done everything I know and I still cannot get the e-mails to show up in the separate account folder!
View 4 Replies View RelatedA hard reset (remove the battery while the BB is on) seems to have worked. I say seemed since it has been reported on this board that it may return when the "service books" are updated...I'm new to BBs. I just purchased it today and against my better judgment installed FAcebook (FB). After getting a deluge of mindless drivel pushed to my new BB I decided FB was not coming near my BB again.So I found the icon - menu - delete. I restart the BB as instructed and to my surprise the icon is still there.I tried to move the icon into a folder but I don't know how to move it because the menu button does nothing when I select the icon and press menu.
And there are some FB messages too. I deleted the FB messages - when I check my messages it reports I have no messages in FB ... BUT there is a little FB icon at the top of the screen showing one message. This one message seems to be relic but I have no idea how to reset or delete it.I also tried the BB desktop software. It shows that it is uninstalled. There appears to be no way of deleting icon, moving the icon, or deleting the FB message indicator either.
My phone updated itself today, all is working fine apart from my inbox. All my messages have gone When I receive a text, it comes up but once I've gone out of my inbox, it disappears again. I have 3 text "conversations" showing in my inbox, sometimes I can open them, sometimes I can't. My phone is recognising I have over 6,000 messages on my phone when I back them up, but they're still not appearing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Torch. When a message comes in on my phone, it is displayed at the center beneath the clock. I click to open. Then just below where the box shows there a new message that had just come in, a "text message box appears". Now, then the message would be opened on clicking. It will then disappears to the inbox once read. If I go click "Text Messages", I will find that message in the inbox which is fine. I can therefore delete any message in the inbox.
The Problem Some of the messages will not be diverted into the inbox for some reasons I don't seem to gather. These though, when opened, will just show a symbol (smiley, etc.) but without any text. The symbol will appear at the extreme right.
I'm using Facebook for my HTC hero and I can't find how to view my inbox messages anywhere in the app. Can it be done ?

I simply cannot delete 2 SMS messages from my Blackberry Bold. What did I press or not press? I have deleted them from saved messages etc. but they will delete from the inbox. Also, incoming SMS messages appear at the bottom of the screen under the date of the un-delete-able messages, and those un-delete-able messages appear under today's date.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9800. Ever since I got it, I've noticed that, occasionally, messages will not show up in my inbox. My phone will buzz when I receive them, and I'll have the "new messages" icon on the homescreen, but clicking the messages icon brings me to an empty inbox.
I've noticed this behavior impacting email (my gmail account is the only one I have going to the blackberry), text messages, and two different third-party chat clients.
I don't have any messages being filtered to different folders or anything like that. Clicking "View Folder" verifies that my inbox is selected.
But here's where it gets weird: if I compose a new email and send it, when I return to the inbox, all the messages appear. It's almost as if the inbox is having a problem displaying the message list, but once I force a new item to display (the newly sent message), it shocks it back to life.
There are several posts about how to turn this off in previous versions of the Samsung Galaxy phones. I see no option to turn this off on the S6.
