For some reason the order in which my call log and text message is laid out seems really which and not in chronological order as one might expect. Most recent calls are somewhere in the middle?? Is there a way to control this order int he settings somewhere?

How do I delete the text history and phone call history on my phone?

Why when i have my headphones in the text message sound as well as incoming call ringtone play thru the speaker on the phone opposed to the headphones?
yet the key sounds when typing play through headphones, as well as the little man who politely reads a new message?
I have a Curve 9380, I know how to save an individual text message but want to save the whole conversation history for a specific conversation

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have tried every combniation of settings I can think of, but I am not able to get my phone (920, developer version from BUILD) to vibrate when I receive a text message.
Currently it vibrates, but plays no ringtonw when I get a call. This is what I want. Howver, when I get a text message it simply shows a toast noification, but no vibration or sound.I have compared every setting I could find to my previous HTC WP7 handset, which does vibrate on SMS.
I have gone in the ringtones Setting screen and turned off the ringer and turned on vibration. How do I make this work? I feel like it must be something staring me in the face that I am not seeing.
I have "secret" phone number so I't doesn't show to receiver at all, but I can send my number using *31# in front of actual number... So I have contacts that have two numbers with *31# and without.... But when sending txt message it tries to use this *31# number and text messages don't go anywhere... Is there anyway to change text message number within numbers in contacts... I have noticed that when I have two numbers without this *31# I can choose which number to use... but not with that..

I'd like to see a list of the songs that were played (in order) but can't seem to find a log or history. I went to the last song played and tapped the Back button until it reached the first song but I errantly tapped it one more time and it took me to the main menu and I couldn't return to my songs in the order they were played.

User manual downloaded from Nokia (107 pages!) says an attachment to a text message can be saved by touching "..." and then 'save to phone' but "..." and no other options appear when tapping the video or the enclosing text message. That user interface does work for photo images received in a text message but not for videos.

The history shows, but when you long press on one it just pops up "details." There is no way to delete the history. If you go into phone settings and under privacy turn off access to call history for Messaging+Skype, then app will no longer load/work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLove my new Lumia 900. One odd issue I can't solve and AT&T can't solve. They referred me to Nokia. When I check a voice mail and delete it, I get a blank text message from 1-(000)-000-0000. I get one for every deleted voice mail. AT&T says there is no setting for this.

If I get a notification and don't check my phone before it disappears then I have no way of knowing what notification I got (short of scanning my homepage, which doesn't help for apps I don't have pinned, as the icons on the app list don't show notification indicators).Alternatively I'd accept being able to disable the timeout on the notification so it doesn't disappear and stacks with other notification on the lock screen.As a last resort being able to make notifications like old school popups would do. Are any of these an option on the Lumia 820? I'm guessing no, as I'm slowly finding that it's the worlds most inflexible phone (are Nokia after iPhone's crown in this area?)

I have a LOT of busines contacts where all I have is a Company name. These all show up as numbers with no name in my contacts list !!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get a definitive answer as have been researching this for weeks and despite my best efforts still have no solution.I am using the fantastic N900 (well done Nokia!) and would like all my music on the device. All efforts so far have transferred music ok but album tracks always appears in alphabetical order in the music player as opposed to the album track order(not much good). This is despite careful tagging and trying with Windows Media Player, Media Monkey & Songbird to see if any work best.
I found out today that this might be due to the file being a .wma file. All my music is ripped to my PC in .wma as in my experience I find the quality vs file size is great and better by far than .mp3.Today I ripped a CD with WMP as .mp3 and after sync the track order was correct (although I do not want to use WMP through choice and certainly not .mp3, let alone re rip my entire CD Collection), my preference would be Media Monkey or Songbird with .wma.
Is this a bug or N900 problem? (I know they are different but it worked fine on N97 and N95 8gb previously with MM and .wma) Can anyone help? or even offer a recommendation or suggestion as to what they think is best format, application or way to have music on the N900 etc.
