My text message history is empty. I got my friend to text me, and I received it. It didn't appear in the history, but I went to Search and typed in his name. And it came up, unopened.But when I go back to the original SMS history, it's not there. Nothing is there.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a little problem, if we can consider this a problem. When i receave a SMS from a friend X, my Blackberry lag (the screen doesn't change, for like 0.5 sec). But when I receave a SMS from let's say Y, it can take up to 5 to 10 seconds before the screen move or I can move with the track pad to see the message. It's annoying.
So here is what I think, Is this because.. :
- I have over 35 000 SMS in the DB ?
- I have like 100 SMS from X and 5000 from Y ?
- My phone is on the vibrator but for Y he has a music ?
- Is this OS 5 ? But he is faster then OS 4 and I updated a while ago ?

I have an iPhone 5s and my husband has an iPhone 4. We have the same iOS (7.1.1) and use the built in Messages app to send text messages. When I add an emoticon such as the smiling face with heart shaped eyes, my husband gets only an empty speech bubble. Â
I am choosing emoticons from the little world shaped icon beside my microphone, and if I choose the first emoticon - the regular smiling face, he gets that, but most of the others result in the empty speech balloon. Â
He can send me emoticons such as the smiling face with heart shaped eyes, and I receive the text just fine. Why his phone will not receive those texts?Â

Background: 2 days ago call history stopped displaying dialed call. today it stopped displaying any in/outgoing calls to. Didn't made any changes to any setting, menu options etc. it just spontaneously stopped working.
in call history/General Options played with the settings. Changed the "Phone List View" from "call log" to name and most recent. View 1 Replies View RelatedSince a few weeks my incoming and outcoming calls are visible only in the general phone call history. If I ask to view the call history of a specific contact the activity is registered only until two weeks ago. Contacts with recent activity only have the call history empty. Also in the contacts' recent activity (at the bottom of the contact details) I find only messages ecc. but no recent call history, only calls of more than 2 weeks ago are in there.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am having an Empty message (not Blank Message). It takes up the space of a text message but the recipient name or the message is not shown in inbox. When I tried to Open the message it said 'Unsupported message type'. This message is not even getting deleted saying 'Error occurred. Deletion not completed'. I got this problem already Twice. What happened further is, After sometimes more of such msgs starts to appear, and then suddenly all saved messages will get deleted.
Then all the applications (including basic applications like calculator) will get deleted. I gave to Nokia service centre. They just said it could be virus so they got my mobile, gave back (installing the software again I guess, I don't think they Cleaned Virus as told by them) and told me to use memory card after scanning. I scanned the card with the top antivirus - with up to date virus database. So I am very much sure there is no virus in my Memory card.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMe and my daughter both have the 8900 Blackberry. Mine is fine for a year and a half now.My daughter just received a free replacement for her broken one last week. It was probably refurbished because it was free. Anyway, when she types SMS text the letter O or E comes out after almost every keystroke. It's very fustrating. I had her re-boot, had her remove auto-text, etc. It's still happening.
Does anyone have a possible solution or is it a defective phone?

I'm still a novice using it, but I am having a problem getting the yellow envelope icon that alerts you that you have new messages to go off. On the message envelope (or just above it) on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen; when I highlight it, it says, "1 messages". The yellow envelope is also on at this time. But when I open the message box or any of the other email boxes, there are no messages. Of course this is on the home page if I didn't mention that. I cannot find an email, sms or mms message (new) anywhere. Anyone have a suggestion?

I find the coverage were I live is terrible I am in the B73 postcode, this is Sutton Coldfield in the swest Mest Midlands, this was depite being told by the staff in the Phones 4U shop that the coverage was good, so any tips on this would be greatefully recieved, this however is not my masin gripe. When I first downloaded Ubertwitter it worked fine but now I have the following problem.The application Ubertwitter has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy.

For some reason on this model SMS's are showing as coming from 1 contact (when there are a lot more) and when you hit reply it replies to that 1 contact and not to the person who actually sent it. I can't see any problems in the settings that could be causing this. Obviously the last thing I want to do is rebuild the devices so can anyone think of what might be causing this?
