BB Bold 9000 :: No Message Service Is Configured?
Aug 4, 2010Although I have set up my emails on my Bold 9000, and I receive mail ok, when i want to reply i get a message "No message services configured. You will only be able to save draft". What have i done wrong with the setup?

Mar 2, 2010I purchased a Curve 8900 locked to t-mobile which i unlocked with a code purchased via a website, everything is okay and working with the orange sim card apart from the MMS message service with appears to be missing from the menu, updating the software via the update service dose not make any difference, also to access the internet the webNwalk from t-mobile application is still there, although this is not a problem i wondered if there was a way to remove that and find out where the MMS option is.

Jul 7, 2010Brand new to this forum. I've had a Curve 8900 for two years without a problem. Everything works OK. I've just got a new Curve (Same model) - but when I swap over the SIM card the Email is not configured. The phone and messaging work fine but if I try and send an Email it says "No message services configured. You will be redirected to setup wizzardto set up your Email account" then it says "No message services configured, you will only be able to save to draft".But if a I swap averything back to my old phone it all works fine - no problem. What am I doing wrong or what do I have to do to get my Emails working on the new phone Thanks in advance.

Apr 15, 2012I had an 'app523 error' and had to upgrade my operating system. Everything working fine now except cannot send emails. I can receive however. I have checked my email settings and my email appears to be showing. i get the following message when trying to send an email: "No message settings configured. You will be redirected to the setup wizard" then in the setup wizard it tells me my email is already configured?

Apr 11, 2010I just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530.I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email.However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured".That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry.I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up.But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done. I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone.I am a bit of an electrical gimp.

Mar 11, 2010This week I left an employer to go to another one. I have not started with the new one yet. I have a personal BB Curve 8900 with work email and one personal email on it. This evening I got the email from the old employer IT dept that they had terminated the work email and BB BES service. Nearly simultaneously, I lost all my personal contacts (which were downloaded off my old flip phone when I got the BB, not from the employer), my personal email account, my calendar, and the memopad documents I had saved for the last 7 months. The phone also reset, removed my password, reset the ringtone, reset the bluetooth settings for my PLT510, and who knows what else. The only evidence that this was still my phone was that my pictures and .mp3s are still there. when an employer terminates blackberry service, is it possible for them to essentially wipe your blackberry clean without your knowledge or consent? If so, how can you set it so that doesn't happen again? If not, is it possible that it is just a huge, inconvenient coincidence, and my BB is experience a major technical difficulty?

I activated blackberry email from my operator witch is Vodafone Romania but when I try to login on http://mobileemail.vodafone.ro/ to create my email this message appears: Your BlackBerry Internet Service Account is suspended or deactivated. Please contact your wireless service provider at 0725 and vodafone operator said the problem comes from RIM who is transmitting this message.

Feb 4, 2010This afternoon, i looked at my blackberry and i saw my LED flashing, and on the screen the little message symbol is at the top. This obvioulsy means i have a message. Jun 30, 2010My 8900 has been working wonderfully until just recently. I'm still a novice using it, but I am having a problem getting the yellow envelope icon that alerts you that you have new messages to go off. On the message envelope (or just above it) on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen; when I highlight it, it says, "1 messages". The yellow envelope is also on at this time. But when I open the message box or any of the other email boxes, there are no messages. Of course this is on the home page if I didn't mention that. I cannot find an email, sms or mms message (new) anywhere. Anyone have a suggestion?

I find the coverage were I live is terrible I am in the B73 postcode, this is Sutton Coldfield in the swest Mest Midlands, this was depite being told by the staff in the Phones 4U shop that the coverage was good, so any tips on this would be greatefully recieved, this however is not my masin gripe. When I first downloaded Ubertwitter it worked fine but now I have the following problem.The application Ubertwitter has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy.

Jul 12, 2010I have a wierd SMS problem with a couple of BB Curve 8900s. For some reason on this model SMS's are showing as coming from 1 contact (when there are a lot more) and when you hit reply it replies to that 1 contact and not to the person who actually sent it. I can't see any problems in the settings that could be causing this. Obviously the last thing I want to do is rebuild the devices so can anyone think of what might be causing this?

Aug 7, 2010I'll try to explain best I can. Lately (last week or 2) I get the new message icon displayed, but when I open my messages folder the red asterick goes away but the envolpe icon still is there and the count goes up. Currently it says 4 but I do not have any unread emails, nor any unread facebook messages. The only way to 'reset' this is a battrr pull. But then it starts generating again. I just updated 4.6.1.319 hoping this would help but sstill the same problems. If any other info is needed please let me know.
