My BB is not letting send MMS. Whenever I try to send one it says "No MMS service record, message cannot be sent". I have mms service it just started doing this today.

View 1 Replies View Relatedhad to reinstall everything on my phone. I had a backup file from Dec, when everything was working. Everything appeared to install without problem. Now a day later I go to send a Text message and I get this error. No MMS service record.So I check the threads and I notice I have to reinstall the services Books since I am on boost. When I go to services books on my BB it says 5 records. I delete those and copy over the combined 3 which has 23 files. However after they are copied over on the device, the device says 5 files and I get the same error.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Curve 8900 locked to t-mobile which i unlocked with a code purchased via a website, everything is okay and working with the orange sim card apart from the MMS message service with appears to be missing from the menu, updating the software via the update service dose not make any difference, also to access the internet the webNwalk from t-mobile application is still there, although this is not a problem i wondered if there was a way to remove that and find out where the MMS option is.

(This has happened before on another non-BB phone -- So I didn't think much of it) Then I tried to log in to the Yahoo Instant Messenger on the IM folder.Each one (MSN, YIM, AIM) gave me the error message of 'Service not Enabled for this Handheld device" I looked on Google, YES I do have a data plan, I went to my service provider about a different problem, (Close enough, it was about emails), and I DO have the Data plan.

When I sync my handheld, I recieve an error message "Record with specified ID (E44569B2) not found" and data does not sync. I checked knowledge base and inidcated problem was previously reported (March, 2012), but solution is being worked on but hasn't been resolved.

After 2 weeks the new iphone was stolen but, when i tried to go back to my old iphone 3gs (with a new sim card), it kept displaying a "no service" message after I updated it to ios 5.1. I got back all the information stored in iCloud and iTunes and all the applications work fine, except for the telephone service. I tried changing different sim cards (including different telephone lines) but the problem remains. The phone worked perfectly well before this incident started.

When I get the message, it stays until I turn the phone off and then back on. Based on apple care reps. I have restored the phone, first with a restore to last backup, and most recently to new. My Employer allowed me to keep my corporate BB9700 after we switched to Iphones with another carrier. This corporate BB9700 was connected to the BES and had a Data Plan.
After the conversion to the new carrier I did a Secruity Wipe on the device as per the Instructions given however now my Browser Icon has disappeared from my Home Screen however I am able to click on the Browser Icon when I press down on the Menu Button. However when I click on the Browser Icon I receive the following message "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries.Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device." I called Rogers Technical Support however was not even able to get an explanation of what this message means?
My current wireless plan with Rogers does not include a data plan. Is that the reason why I see this message or do I need to reinstall the software? My BB9700 currently has OS5.
