Then, after a while, it reappears and it works.I am usign o.s. 7.1 and I never had this problem before, the cursor was always very responsive and fast. In addition to this, I notice the following:since some time, among the open applications there is alway the file viewer... and when I select it and push the wheel the cursor gets stucked as well.
View 2 RepliesThere's something stuck inside the 'clicky bit' at the bottom of my headphone jack, stopping the 3.5mm plug from clicking fully down into the phone, making the connection to the earbuds very delicate and making it impossible for me to listen to music properly without holding the phone still in my hand, one of my friends (''phone repair expert'') says its stuck inside a mechanism, and that it would require replacing the whole unit, including the silent switch (My silent switch is also broken but not a major concern)The phone was purchased on contract december 2010 so is of warranty, and is also jailbroken on 5.0.1 (I LIKE it that way, @oldwomanwhingers) so I expect the hardware warranty doesn't apply here, so any chance I could be given a vague estimate on what Apple would charge me for this repair?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just sent my Xoom off on a repair ticket because when I went to put in the SD card, I goofed. I did not realize the clear plastic "fingernail" was holding the SD slot. I tried to put the card in and it slipped under the appointed slot and got stuck inside the Xoom.if you haven't inserted your SD card yet, don't do what I did. There is a clear plastic tab that must be removed from the slot for the SD card. get the card back with the Xoom. It worked fine even with the stuck card, but the dust cover wouldn't go back on.

If I try to text something its almost impossible as the cursor moves all over the screen. The phone is about 10 months old and has not been dropped recently. Ive reduced the sensitivity on the trackpad but this has had no affect whatsoever.
Whilst browsing the internet my "cursor" has suddenly stopped working. My "cursor" - the little black arrow - is still there but when hover over a search box for example and "click" my trackball nothing happens, similarly if the little hand symbol appears on a link if I "click" the trackball nothing happens. I've discovered I can press return when the hand appears and it goes to the link, but this is no use when only the arrow appears.

It takes several presses in for it to work, and I will often have to press it in quite hard. View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to the forum and have some frustration after "upgrading" to OS 6. I have a Curve 3G through Verizon Wireless, and when I got it a month ago all was great with OS 5. I updated it to OS 6 when it came out a couple weeks ago from VZW, and since then have had a ton of problems. The first was battery drain, which was solved by removing BBM. The second is more frustrating. Since the upgrade, my cursor seems to jump out of my text message or email very easily while typing. I also notice that when selecting apps it seems that my trackpad jumps around quite easily. They both seem to be exaggerated when outside or sitting near a light or window. It almost acts like the trackpad is effected by light and is causing the cursor to be moved out of my message or around my screen since I've updated software versions. I have tried several battery pulls without success and while I enjoy the new features of OS 6, I don't enjoy the hassles. I feel like the only way to solve the issue is to go back to OS 5 untl there are some patches to fix some of these bugs.

At first I thought I was imagining it but then the cursor kept on moving upwards whenever i move the trackpad. This happens intermittently. I have also noticed earlier that when I went out of my house and used it with the wind blowing and the sun glaring, it moved by itself and keeps on going upwards.

View 2 Replies View Relatedsorry guys i know this has been covered but i recently dropped my phone running and the top lock key seemed to be affected (point of impact) so i was having to apply alot of pressure to lock it.so i ordered a new chrome bezel and top cover (lock and mute button)took it apart and put back together.
issue im having is that at times the trackball seems to be loosing contact in the back (inside). so it will work at times then it just stops i can make a selection by clicking the track ball but any vertical or horizontal movement doesnt register. IF i apply pressure to the back of the battery door and push up behind the track ball it seems to work.
So i took it apart and tried to make sure nothing was in between the trackball and what it touches. didnt seem to be. but the issue still there i tried to retighten the screws but i dont want to strip them so im wondering what my options are. i really dont want a refurbed phone but i may have to order one idk.
Recently purchased a Blackberry Curve 9350. Phone will not hold a charge or receive signal inside structures. Is this a "hardware" problem, or carrier network problem or both?

View 2 Replies View Relatedhad to reinstall everything on my phone. I had a backup file from Dec, when everything was working. Everything appeared to install without problem. Now a day later I go to send a Text message and I get this error. No MMS service record.So I check the threads and I notice I have to reinstall the services Books since I am on boost. When I go to services books on my BB it says 5 records. I delete those and copy over the combined 3 which has 23 files. However after they are copied over on the device, the device says 5 files and I get the same error.
