When I use my cursor/mouse it keeps shooting up to the top of the page. I have a curve 9330. I've tried taking out the battery and letting it reboot itself and it still keeps on doing this.

It makes me unable to text because every time I type a letter in the cursor scrolls all the way up the conversation. I can't click on any of the apps or icons as the cursor keeps moving! It is not due to track pad sensitivity or anything.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy 9300 cursor is erratic and does not stop still. It keeps jumping tp the top of the screen when i try to go to an item. If I try to text something its almost impossible as the cursor moves all over the screen. The phone is about 10 months old and has not been dropped recently. Ive reduced the sensitivity on the trackpad but this has had no affect whatsoever.
I am currently on my 2nd X6 after the first one had a fault which made the cursor move by itself when composing a message (I always hold it at the regular portrait angle). It would also do the same with the delete button, sometimes I would press delete once, for example on a spelling error and the X6 would just carry on deleting, wiping out all of my message.So I have a new one and exactly the same is happening! The cursor flys around the screen, usually in the backwards direction, making a 30 second message turn into a 5 minute long nightmare. Im on o2, it is the 16 Gb model. Anyone know why it is doing this? I have taken the screen film off as I though that maybe that was interfering with the touch sensitivity, but it seems to be an internal error. It is infuriating losing a message, especially when I am on the move and can't use 2 hands to wrestle with this HAL-like behaviour The very fact I have had to sign in to this forum sums up how poor Nokia devices are.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have the S6, and am using the Google Launcher. I've been having an issue with my icons not staying put. Everything will be in place when I put my phone down, on the charger, or in the holster, and when I pick the phone up or pull it out of it's holster I'll find that some of the icons and/or folders are now on a completely different screen. Sometimes they are two or more screens over. When I go to move the icons myself, I know I have to really move them close to the edge of the screen in order for the next screen over to open up, so I don't believe it's a sensitivity issue with the touch screen.

My "cursor" - the little black arrow - is still there but when hover over a search box for example and "click" my trackball nothing happens, similarly if the little hand symbol appears on a link if I "click" the trackball nothing happens. It takes several presses in for it to work, and I will often have to press it in quite hard. I am unsure of why this has happened, because I have not dropped the phone or let water or other substances into it. It could perhaps be dirt? I have tried several battery pulls.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to the forum and have some frustration after "upgrading" to OS 6. I have a Curve 3G through Verizon Wireless, and when I got it a month ago all was great with OS 5. I updated it to OS 6 when it came out a couple weeks ago from VZW, and since then have had a ton of problems. The first was battery drain, which was solved by removing BBM. The second is more frustrating. Since the upgrade, my cursor seems to jump out of my text message or email very easily while typing. I also notice that when selecting apps it seems that my trackpad jumps around quite easily. They both seem to be exaggerated when outside or sitting near a light or window. It almost acts like the trackpad is effected by light and is causing the cursor to be moved out of my message or around my screen since I've updated software versions. I have tried several battery pulls without success and while I enjoy the new features of OS 6, I don't enjoy the hassles. I feel like the only way to solve the issue is to go back to OS 5 untl there are some patches to fix some of these bugs.

At first I thought I was imagining it but then the cursor kept on moving upwards whenever i move the trackpad. This happens intermittently. I have also noticed earlier that when I went out of my house and used it with the wind blowing and the sun glaring, it moved by itself and keeps on going upwards.

The problem that I am having is the messages that were sent to my tmo.blackberry email address that are saved to my phone I cannot find to save to a computer. I have tried forwarding the saved messages to another email address but when I do I get a red "X" and it says "Unlisted message error". View 1 Replies View RelatedWe took delivery yesterday of a Bold 9900 to replace my daughters 8520. We thought it would be easy to get going but it appears that contacts on her phone can only be copied one at a time to her SIM which we will then have to put in her new Bold 9900. O2 suggested there was an option to do all the contacts in one go but we cant see that! I tried installing the desktop software on her laptop from her original curve CD. We then went through a series of updates, crashed her curve enentually got it working again) and ended up non the wiser. What is the safest and most reliable method of backing up and then copying Contacts to her new phone. Not to worried about other stuff as she can reinstall facebook etc and a can copy photos on to her PC.
