Mar 29, 2012I just noticed this, and I'm not sure how long it's been happening, but I can't find any setting to get the phone to vibrate when I receive a text message. I can have it make a sound or be silent, and the phone vibrates just fine when I get a call.

Jun 5, 2010I was having trouble accessing most websites (although I could get email via the university system where I work), so I tried the wireless upgrade/update that was suggested. After I did that, I lost everything - phone, text, and Internet. My calendar is wiped out, as is my contacts. When I try to "turn on" mobile services, it does not turn on. Verizon is not even listed as my service provider. It is as if it cannot find a service provider and therefore, will not make a connection.

Mar 27, 2012So I checked my text message inbox this morning to find a random number sitting there in between messages I had gotten the day before. There wasn't any writing underneath the number and when I clicked on the number, there wasn't even a text message... as if it was blank. What's weirder is that my phone didn't even register that I'd gotten a new text.. the number just appeared.

Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

Jul 17, 2015Using stock email and SMS on LG G3, when I can an answer phone message I get an SMS alert. I have to open this text message or it will remind every 5 mins (a feature I like for other text messages). The text tells me the answer phone number (121, vodafone UK) but this number is not a clickable link. I therefore have to close the text message and open the dialer and phone 121 (or hold 1 key). Is there a way to launch the dialer from the text message (for example forcing it to create a link for the 121 number)?

Nov 26, 2015I, like several others are having issues with getting text messages from the cloud onto my new Lumia 950 which I've had for about 4 days now. As of this moment it's still stuck from January 2013 and it hasn't taken this long before so it could be a server side that's been causing the issue. So I tried using the Transfer My Data app to transfer text messages and whenever I pair them it doesn't allow my Lumia 920 to transfer texts only contacts.
Is that because it's using an old Bluetooth that doesn't allow transfer, but I paired it the opposite way and it transferred over my Lumia 950 texts onto my 920... . So I tried using the contacts+message backup app by uploading the text backup using OneDrive and then downloading that onto my Lumia 950 but that wouldn't work either since the restore option was grayed out.

Why this is the case, and is there any alternatives to accessing this function? I received a software update this morning, so I am wondering if that had anything to do with it.

Aug 7, 2011I left my phone open on a text message and when I returned to it a while later it had frozen. I tried to use some of the buttons to return to the home screen but nothing happened. I turned it off and then back on again but the screen came up white with a reset error message. I turned it off again and it won't turn on at all. The red light is just flashing. Mar 16, 2012I replaced my old iphone 3gs by a new iphone 4s. After 2 weeks the new iphone was stolen but, when i tried to go back to my old iphone 3gs (with a new sim card), it kept displaying a "no service" message after I updated it to ios 5.1. I got back all the information stored in iCloud and iTunes and all the applications work fine, except for the telephone service. I tried changing different sim cards (including different telephone lines) but the problem remains. The phone worked perfectly well before this incident started.
