Aug 20, 2010I upgraded the software on my bold and now I can't send or forward any email. It says that I have to set up the message service.

Aug 4, 2010Although I have set up my emails on my Bold 9000, and I receive mail ok, when i want to reply i get a message "No message services configured. You will only be able to save draft". What have i done wrong with the setup?

Jan 6, 2010I received a message to verify my password email account, to continue receiving emails, so when I got into configure email, my account didn't show up, that's why I configure it and add it again. And now in the message box I'm receiving twice my emails, and on my hotmail box I'm receiving it once.Now, I eliminated my hotmail account from my blackberry, and I'm still receiving emails!! to the message box, but I cant reply them.How can I do to stop receiving emails when I dont have nay email account configured!I hope I'm being clear =/I have a bb bold v4.6.0.185 (platform 4.0.0.169)
BB Bold 9700 :: Replying To Email Get Message - No Message Services Configured - Can Only Save Draft
Apr 6, 2010BOLD 9700, T-Mobile. I have current OS. I am receiving the above message when I try to reply to an email. Yesterday---I didn't have this problem. I go to email set up & my email addresses are there. When I am in message options, and choose Email Settings--- there isn't ANYTHING there.

Jul 21, 2011Just replaced broken Bberry Bold. Restored, backed up and set up email, etc. I receive email, however to respond or send a new email, I get this message. 'No message services configured. You will only be able to Save Draft'. Already have email address set up so it won't let me go any further.

BB service centre at Jammu (J&K State, India) is refusing to service this set as it is outdated. Naaptol is also giving standard reply that they will call back in 24-48 hours. No reply from naaptol no action by Blackberry service centre.

I have to take the battery out at night to charge because the usb charging port is broken, and when I put it back in the following morning I get the following error message: "Supplementary Service Error: General Error. Along with getting the error, I'm being charged anywhere form $0.60 to $1.10 each morning. I've tried restoring the phone and deleting all the third party applications. I was hoping someone could solve this problem for me.And one other thing, it just started doing this. I've had the phone for about four months, and I just recently started getting the error.

Feb 25, 2010I recently got a BB bold that's unlocked from ATT. I do not have the Blackberry plan, I only have T-zones. I am able to surf the web and such using opera mini. All my weather and internet radio applications work fine. The only thing I can not get to work is MMS. I can receive but not send. Says no mms service book.I found a generic T-zones service book that I installed to the phone using DM. Unfortunately the service book does not contain the MMS book. Where can I find or add this service book? There must be a way. Is is possible for someone else to send me their service book and have that work?

Jan 12, 2010So I wiped my bb bold 9000. All went well, except when I open up the Desktop Manager to sync my calendar and address book, DM gives me the following error message: The default service for your device's "address book" is no longer available. The new service for synchronization is "blahblah@wrongemail.com"
I have five email addresses linked to my Bold (yahoo, gmail, live, etc) and I want it to sync with my work address book and calendar (not blahblah@wrongemail.com). It had no problem doing this before the wipe...
I have gone in to options/advanced options/default services and changed both options (CICAL and CMIME) to my work email address, but I still get the error message. I even went so far as to delete all five email addresses and start adding them from scratch...making sure that I added my work email address first...figuring that may set it as default.

Feb 7, 2010I had used a handheld upgrade link only to discover this message: BlackBerry® Device Software v4.5 is not supported by your wireless service provider. Now the reason why this is complicated is because I do not know what the service provider is for the phone. I am simply attempting to restore it. I have made several attempts at wiping and factory resetting via JL_Cmder but all attempts have failed because the program cannot hold a connection with the Bold. Can someone please help?

Apr 11, 2010I just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530.I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email.However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured".That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry.I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up.But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done. I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone.I am a bit of an electrical gimp.

Jul 23, 2010A few weeks ago, my Blackberry got an error 507 screen overnight and I had to wipe the device. I am currently using the latest release of 5.0 and last night my phone was working fine. When I woke up this morning, my screen had the "App error 205" message on it. That is two failures in one month now and I have to go to work in a few minutes so I won't even have time to wipe my device to at least have a working phone for the day. May 18, 2010After upgrade my bold from 4.6 to 5.0, when system starts appear a message box with a text like this:"This mobile device contains confidential software and property of RIM etc..."
at the end has a OK button but I can't click! I press the scroll, enter key, space key and nothing! If I don't click in this button I can't do anything in the phone!
If I pull over the batery and boot the phone, it's starts normally and this screen appear again and I stuck again!

Have done this dozens of times, but this time when I re-inserted the media card I got a message saying "Media card inserted contains errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer." Jan 28, 2012My Employer allowed me to keep my corporate BB9700 after we switched to Iphones with another carrier. This corporate BB9700 was connected to the BES and had a Data Plan.
After the conversion to the new carrier I did a Secruity Wipe on the device as per the Instructions given however now my Browser Icon has disappeared from my Home Screen however I am able to click on the Browser Icon when I press down on the Menu Button. However when I click on the Browser Icon I receive the following message "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries.Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device." I called Rogers Technical Support however was not even able to get an explanation of what this message means?
My current wireless plan with Rogers does not include a data plan. Is that the reason why I see this message or do I need to reinstall the software? My BB9700 currently has OS5.
