My SMS works fine but I want it to sort it to look like BBM. I have seen people that have their SMS inbox show contacts then when you open it, it shows the whole conversation between you and them, more like BBM. How do you change it from the regular way that shows every SMS you have to person by person?
View 4 RepliesWhen I sent emails, the sent mails show up in my BB 8900 "inbox". So, if I send an email to myself, both the mail (received) and the sent mail show up in the handheld "inbox". I could not find a set up option so that the send mail will not be listed in the inbox. Any idea? Thanks.
I have the following set up:
Messages > Option > General Options > Email Reconciliation > Delete on : Mailbox and handhel. Wireles Reconcile : On On Conflict: Handhel Wins
The delete works fine.
My SMS inbox doesnt show new messages and also my Curve 8900 doesnt prompt for any new messages. However, the Mobiso application (which logs calls, texts) shows messages coming in with its text lengths. I asked this to Blackberryhelp on Twitter but it said to contact service provider, but there is nothing wrong with it. The format of the SMS inbox should have something wrong otherwise the Mobiso application should not have logged all messages.

View 6 Replies View Relatedyesterday I connected my Z2 to a regular headphone jack and few seconds later the phone turned off.
Now it can´t turn it on if i try to turn it on it shows the regular boot (sony xperia shows up) and the the screen goes black.
Tried to repair it with pcc but on the stage that i should connect the usb cable to the phone and press the down button nothing happens. So what to do?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon, i looked at my blackberry and i saw my LED flashing, and on the screen the little message symbol is at the top. This obvioulsy means i have a message. The strange thing is, i dont have a message, or at least i cant get to it.Any help? LED keeps flashing, and the little envelope icon is there, but i dont have any SMS messges or Email.

My blackberry keep vibrating and led is flashing, yet there is no notification or message anywhere. I thought it was a waether app I had installed but deleting that didn't help. I'm still a novice using it, but I am having a problem getting the yellow envelope icon that alerts you that you have new messages to go off. On the message envelope (or just above it) on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen; when I highlight it, it says, "1 messages". The yellow envelope is also on at this time. But when I open the message box or any of the other email boxes, there are no messages. Of course this is on the home page if I didn't mention that. I cannot find an email, sms or mms message (new) anywhere. Anyone have a suggestion?

I find the coverage were I live is terrible I am in the B73 postcode, this is Sutton Coldfield in the swest Mest Midlands, this was depite being told by the staff in the Phones 4U shop that the coverage was good, so any tips on this would be greatefully recieved, this however is not my masin gripe. When I first downloaded Ubertwitter it worked fine but now I have the following problem.The application Ubertwitter has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy.

For some reason on this model SMS's are showing as coming from 1 contact (when there are a lot more) and when you hit reply it replies to that 1 contact and not to the person who actually sent it. I can't see any problems in the settings that could be causing this. Obviously the last thing I want to do is rebuild the devices so can anyone think of what might be causing this?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having an Empty message (not Blank Message). It takes up the space of a text message but the recipient name or the message is not shown in inbox. When I tried to Open the message it said 'Unsupported message type'. This message is not even getting deleted saying 'Error occurred. Deletion not completed'. I got this problem already Twice. What happened further is, After sometimes more of such msgs starts to appear, and then suddenly all saved messages will get deleted.
Then all the applications (including basic applications like calculator) will get deleted. I gave to Nokia service centre. They just said it could be virus so they got my mobile, gave back (installing the software again I guess, I don't think they Cleaned Virus as told by them) and told me to use memory card after scanning. I scanned the card with the top antivirus - with up to date virus database. So I am very much sure there is no virus in my Memory card.
I purchased a Curve 8900 locked to t-mobile which i unlocked with a code purchased via a website, everything is okay and working with the orange sim card apart from the MMS message service with appears to be missing from the menu, updating the software via the update service dose not make any difference, also to access the internet the webNwalk from t-mobile application is still there, although this is not a problem i wondered if there was a way to remove that and find out where the MMS option is.

Lately (last week or 2) I get the new message icon displayed, but when I open my messages folder the red asterick goes away but the envolpe icon still is there and the count goes up. Currently it says 4 but I do not have any unread emails, nor any unread facebook messages. The only way to 'reset' this is a battrr pull. But then it starts generating again. I just updated 4.6.1.319 hoping this would help but sstill the same problems. If any other info is needed please let me know.
