HTC Desire HD :: Entire Text Message History Has Vanished?
Dec 28, 2010My entire txt message history has vanished. When new texts arrive the phone beeps but the message disappears how do I get my messages back?

BB Torch :: Text Message Inbox Vanished?
Oct 2, 2011I dont know how but my inbox for my text messages vanished, maybe i accidentily deleted it when it was in my pocket but even when people send me a txtmessage i dont see it in the popup menu or get an alarm anymore, the only way i can check if i have new messages is when i open up the textmessage folder in the general message folder.

Jan 22, 2011I have had the Desire Z for a couple months now and noticed that the wrong messages were disappearing when I deleted some. Yesterday I did it very carefully and slowly and caught the problem happening. Here is what I did.
There were 2 messages.
I held my finger on the first one
I selected Delete
I clicked the button to delete "locked" messages
I let go and the first message was still there but the 2nd one (from someone else) had gone!
HTC Desire :: Send A Text Message While There's No Coverage?
Dec 16, 2010I live in a sort of remote area and my mobile coverage is kind of dodgy. This normally isn't a problem, but if I send a text message with my Desire while there's no coverage, it won't send at all. As in, even if I go outside and hold it in the air to get some bars, it will not automatically send the message from an outbox or whatever. The message shows up in the message thread, but I get no confirmation SMS.Even weirder still, if I've sent a message to a number while I was out of coverage, I can no longer send texts to the number even if I've got full bars. No confirmation, and when I talk to the person later, they didn't get it.

Dec 9, 2014I just upgraded to 8.1.2 on my iPhone 4S and now all my text messages have vanished, I can't send or receive text messages, and I can't make phone calls. When I punch in a phone number or tap a contact in my favourites - nothing happens. I have switched it off and rebooted twice - still nothing.

Jan 28, 2010I used to be able to see a combined list of my emails, SMS texts, missed phone calls, voicemails and just about anything else when I opened the Message folder icon on my Blackberry Curve 8330 desktop, but now when I open it, all I get is a blank white screen. When I hit the menu button, the menu pops up without a problem and if I click the track ball, it will open a message, but I can't see the list itself.Also, when I go to view folder I can access any of the individual folders and they come up just fine. The only problem is the combined message list you're supposed to get when you open up the icon on the desktop (or application menu).

BB Curve :: Message Icon On The Main Screen "menu" Vanished?
Apr 3, 2011My message icon on the main screen "menu" vanished. I can no longer receive messages, and all the messages that I had stored vanished, since the message icon disappeared. I seem however, able to send messages by going to the email, but instead of composing email, i compose sms. However, I never get any replies. The message icon disappeared approximately two weeks ago. I went to the 02 store and the technical assistant took my phone for about 30 minutes, and then gave it back to me, saying he had no idea what had happened. He initially thought it had been "hiden" but it appears to be no where!

BB Torch 9800 Smartphone :: Text Message Notifies Staying As Unread Text Message?
Aug 18, 2010The bar on the top of the screen between the "select a profile" and the "search magnifying glass" where the notifications pop up not sure what that page is called but in this slide down screen under Text Messages I have a text message that is staying at unread. Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

Jun 2, 2010Please could you help. I recently upgraded to a blackberry bold 9700.Since doing this, I have been experiencing problems accessing my BBM message history. On my old Blackberry curve, I could see all my bbm message history and I had a 1GB media card. Now I have a 2 GB media card, and when I ask for the history to be saved on the media card, it wipes all the history., If I set it to save on the device memory, then it saves the message for 2 days, then deletes it. Please could you tell me what to do in order to resolve this issue? I have tried battery pulls, deleting applications that I do not use, deleting all emails, deleting all sms. My current device memory is 95% free. I cannot work out what is goin gon and am desperate to be able to save my message history.
