The mms message is lengthy and the entire text is not displayed.It shows "more" in the bottom rh corner of the text but can't figure out. how to get the rest of the text to show.

When receiving a text message I can see the new message in my inbox but when I open the text message it isn't there, it only shows my last message. If I reply the missing message will then show up in the chat above my reply. A battery pull solves this problem but it only seems to be a temporary fix as it has happened again.
This is on the Torch 9810, 7.0 bundle 1328.
I just switched to the Galaxy S5 from the iPhone 5, so I am still trying to learn the new format.
First: I know how to get text message previews to show up, however, is there a way to get the text message on the lock screen to show the name, but not the full message? Right now I can either get the name and the full message on the lock screen or just "new message".
Second: Is there a way to transfer all my iTunes music onto the S5 so I don't lose it?
My entire txt message history has vanished. When new texts arrive the phone beeps but the message disappears how do I get my messages back?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWith the newer Nokia Messaging versions (like the one included in the most recent E72 fw update) the behavior with POP email accounts is different. When replying to a message or forwarding a message the message does NOT show up in the Sent Items folder of the PHONE. If you send a message (without reply or forward) it DOES show up in the sent items folder of the phone. With the older versions of Nokia Messaging this did work. Extremely annoying for a messaging device. Nokia please FIX this or provide downgrades for.

When I try to forward a text message to more than 10 people by using the contacts menu to select the recipients, the message changes from text message to multimedia message.
Since, I do not have a subscription for multimedia messages with my service provider, the message remains in the outbox and never gets sent.
Can someone advice why the text message converts to multimedia message? How to prevent this from happening everytime I send/forward text message to more than 10 people from the contacts list?
I have a bbm group chat with a few friends and sometimes if I send a message on the group, the first message doesn't show up on the screen, even though the message went through. If I close the chat screen and bring it up again, it'll show up.

For a while now I can only view text messages from the "message" icon on my phone. I used to be able to view 2 different email accounts. The only way I can see my emails now is from the little window just below where the time is displayed.

However, I need to figure out how could I transfer all my data.The blackberry desk manager never did work on my old phone witch. The bar on the top of the screen between the "select a profile" and the "search magnifying glass" where the notifications pop up not sure what that page is called but in this slide down screen under Text Messages I have a text message that is staying at unread. Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

So I just got my macbook air couple weeks ago, I just updated it to OS X Yosemite and wanted to connect my iPhone messages to the messages on my mac. Both are connected to my apple ID account and whatnot with iCloud turned on on both, my iPhone is updated with IOS 8.1.1 and have Send as SMS on. Is there something I'm missing because my phone doesn't show the option of forward text message as others do.

my old nokia n8, I could choose to receive notification that only showed the contacts name and let me know I had a message from them. Is this possible on the s6? I do not want the message preview on my screen so that everyone can see the message. I just want the contacts name only.
Is there any way to set the phone to download the entire email message by default? I hate having to click the button to download the rest of the message.

If I have a text message conversation open and receive a new message from the same contact, the notification icon pops up, I'm properly notified, but then it won't clear without backing out of the conversation to the higher level text messaging section. I have had success a few times with tapping on the new message to clear the notification icon, but not all the time. This was not an issue I noticed with the previous version of Android.
