Oct 13, 2010when i get a new message, i just get a ring, but no information on the screen, what's the screen for if it doesn't tell me who that msg is from unless i unlock my phone and click on it? or do i have to configure it? anyone knows?

One things I've noticed is that when I'm streaming video from YouTube, etc the 1020 doesn't show how much of the video has been buffered. The 800 used to show me with every app, whether is was browser videos or through MetroTube/Supertube. None of these show how much has been buffered on the 1020. Is this a WP8 bug?

Oct 24, 2011When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.
Nokia :: 5800 Xm Screen Doesn't React When Unlock Phone After It Has Been Locked For A While
May 29, 2010I'm experiencing some weird problems on my 5800 xm. When I unlock the phone after it has been locked for a while the touch screen doesn't react at all. But if I lock and unlock again, it starts to work. Not a very big problem but kinda annoying. The other problem is that none of the physical buttons are working, except for the on/off button.
All those problems came at once and from no where. I hadn't installed or updated anything recently when it came. I've tried to update to v.50 and I've tried a "soft reset" but it isn't working. I can't do a hard reset since the buttons used for doing aren't working.
It feels like it's some kind of software problem rather than a hardware problem or what do you think? Anything I can try before going back to the store?

When replying to a message or forwarding a message the message does NOT show up in the Sent Items folder of the PHONE. If you send a message (without reply or forward) it DOES show up in the sent items folder of the phone. With the older versions of Nokia Messaging this did work. Extremely annoying for a messaging device. Nokia please FIX this or provide downgrades for.

Oct 25, 2011When receiving a text message I can see the new message in my inbox but when I open the text message it isn't there, it only shows my last message. If I reply the missing message will then show up in the chat above my reply. A battery pull solves this problem but it only seems to be a temporary fix as it has happened again.

The message indicator on the home screen sometimes displays to the left of the time, and sometimes to the right. I thought at first it was an am/pm thing, but 10 minutes ago (8:41 ayem now) it was on the right, and now it just jumped to the left.

Jun 1, 2012I just receently undated my iphone and restored it although I lost all of my pictures and contacts. Now when I use the phone and it goes in lock after I'm not using it I cant get to see the unlock screen by pressing the home key. The screen just goes black and stays black. The only way I can get it to come back on it by pressing and holding the two buttons the one time for about 30 seconds.

Oct 22, 2011Screen unlock pattern failed 20 times, phone is now locked pending google username and password, which I have enter hundreds of times with no success, I know the username and password is correct as I can log in via PC and view latest downloads on my phone etc.
Have tried to repair the phone via PC companion, everytime the download begins an error message comes up "unable to start update"
Have been to the optus shop and contacted sony over the phone, being told by optus that my phone is 7 days over its warranty and it will cost me to unlock, Sony helpdesk advised that it was "Easy" to fix and i just needed to repair the phone via PC companion, which clearly is not as easy as stated. I am left without a phone which is badly affecting my work, I have been told it will take at least 2 weeks for the phone to be unlocked if it is done by the provider, google password is not working.

Aug 23, 2014I bought an iPhone 5s 16gb, and downloaded an app. Then my phone start bringing up issues so i decided to delete the app. After clicking on delete, my iPhone got stocked and show a white screen with the apple logo. So i waited and decided to reboot the hard way. All it does now is just reboot and goes to blue screen then reboot. All over and over again. Am frustrated, cause i bought this phone 4 days ago.

So even if it would work on the E6 (which it doesn't), it would not be a replacement for the improperly working notification light.
