I recently noticed that my screen doesn't respond to go on landscape mode when I tilt the phone.. Auto-rotate is on, I never experienced this before.. I saw that other ppl also had this problem, some with the update.

When i tilt the phone it does go to the Landscape mode however when i tilt it back it fails to go back to portrait.... Its getting a little annoying now so is anyone facing the same problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently acquired an Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i) with Android 2.3.4 but the screen is permanently in landscape mode. And before anyone says check display settings. Yes it is in auto rotate with full animations on. Tried repair from SE companion, hard and soft reset but to no avail.
When i check services using the *#*#7378423#*#* request, accelerometer appears to work just fine as does the Slide flip Keyboard count. I originally thought it might of been hardware fault. But these tell me otherwise.
Although, admittedly it did switch to portrait view once for a split second whilst sliding the keyboard in half way. I haven't been able to replicate it since.
I have Xperia Neo (MT15i), with the latest available ICS 4.0.4 update installed and working. Here is something that's been eating me for a while: I've always missed a landscape orientation of the home screen, and I've eagerly anticipated it with every new update. To my great disappointment, I still unsuccessful in achieveing landscape oriented home screen on my devise. That is, until recently, when I noticed that if I connect to phone with an USB cable to a computer, and then put the phone in a lanscape position, after about 15-30 seconds of heavy thinking, the screen does come up in a landscape mode! Totally shocked, I picked up the phone and disconnected it from the USB cable. Immediately, the home screen went to a portrait position and no matter how I did rotate it, it never switched back to a landscape mode. Until I connected it again to the USB cable... Weird! True, it takes it about 30 sec. to make the switch but it comes up in a landscape orientation only when it is connected viaUSB cable to a computer. why can't I have the landscape mode without the USB connection active?

Everything works on the phone. The screen illuminates, it rings, I can talk on the phone through my car but I cannot do anything that involves using the screen. Just got the SE Xperia X10, I'm not sure what I click but it won't go to landscape anymore when I text. I really prefer texting in landscape mode. I just got the phone 3 days ago. I installed juice defender and task killer, I'm not sure if it has any thing to do with that.

It's the border with the 3 dots on the right which indicate home, back, and previous tasks button, and the top border with the time and everything.. It's annoying because it blocks some of the video of there something going on on the top or right side. Sometimes I can sail it away and it'll go away. Other times its stuck there..

Sometimes, during incoming calls, the screen shuffles between portrait and landscape mode. And when I press the green accept button (in either mode), the ring tone stops and after a second or so, it starts to ring again. And obviously, during all this, I am not able to receive the call using the screen button.I know the simple solution is to use the physical green button at the bottom but would still like to resolve it. Is it a genuine problem with all bb storm 9520s? Is there a fix to this by changing accelerometer settings or something?

When I connect my phone to a wall charger (provided my Motorola), the touch screen responds rarely (slowly). As soon you disconnect the charger it works fine. I had talked to Motorola specialist over the phone and she provided me with a new charger. However, the problem still persists.
Yesterday, I used a Blackberry charger (with very close voltage and current output) and the phone worked fine.
I had over half a charge after sending a text message yesterday around 3pm. I looked at the phone at 4:30 and the screen was black and the device doesn't respond. I removed the battery and put it back to no avail. If I plug it in, the green light comes on - the Motorola splash screen displays - then a battery meter displays.

View 5 Replies View Relatedok i am bored at work finished my stuff early i must kill 30 minutes. anyways i get on Internet to watch some hdnet fights my phone that im still waiting for its replacement to get here as usual battery down to 40% witih little use. i have to put it to charge im thinking cool the charging hookup is on the left side so i can lay phone on therightet side and watch videos cable pointing up. well it plays full screen upside down why put the usb port on the side and not let video play in full screen landscape mode with usb port facing up. is there a way to fix this because its so lame. i have to hold the phone rather than lat it there because the usb crable is in the way when trying to watch in landscape mode. in top of it my touchscreen is still acting erratic while charging.

White stripe only shows when light is coming direct to camera from a light source like fluorecent lamp and from a particular angle.Stripe shows in both portrait and landscape mode and always at same place. I am attaching 2 photos 1 taken in landscape and other in portrait.I have a protecting cover but it is not covering the camera lens.
I think other z3 devices do not have this issue as i have searched a lot but i only found 1 other person facing this issue and i have shared the link above. Why this stripe shows on photos? Is it a known issue? Should i claim warranty?
