It also happens on while switching on from rear to the front camera only on while 60 fps is on

Just got the SE Xperia X10, I'm not sure what I click but it won't go to landscape anymore when I text. I really prefer texting in landscape mode. I just got the phone 3 days ago. I installed juice defender and task killer, I'm not sure if it has any thing to do with that.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've recently acquired an Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i) with Android 2.3.4 but the screen is permanently in landscape mode. And before anyone says check display settings. Yes it is in auto rotate with full animations on. Tried repair from SE companion, hard and soft reset but to no avail.
When i check services using the *#*#7378423#*#* request, accelerometer appears to work just fine as does the Slide flip Keyboard count. I originally thought it might of been hardware fault. But these tell me otherwise.
Although, admittedly it did switch to portrait view once for a split second whilst sliding the keyboard in half way. I haven't been able to replicate it since.
I have a problem very similar to this [URL] but i am not using flash. White stripe only shows when light is coming direct to camera from a light source like fluorecent lamp and from a particular angle.Stripe shows in both portrait and landscape mode and always at same place. I am attaching 2 photos 1 taken in landscape and other in portrait.I have a protecting cover but it is not covering the camera lens.
I think other z3 devices do not have this issue as i have searched a lot but i only found 1 other person facing this issue and i have shared the link above. Why this stripe shows on photos? Is it a known issue? Should i claim warranty?
I noticed when I play a video on my new Z5 Premium Dual, it's displayed a little bit choppy especially when using landscape mode. I tried playing different videos that I recorded in 720p and 1080p all of them are stored in internal-storage.
I tested displaying these videos on iPhone5 and they are playing well. I did reset my device to factory settings and repair it from the computer but with no luck. It appears that all Z5P have this problem at least here in Kuwait. This is strange, I went to the store and transfered one of the videos to other two Z5P devices and the same problem happened. Moreover, the quality of the video displayed on Z5P is bad.
This 4K screen should be awsome but instead of that, I'm getting choppy/lag videos playback.
I have Xperia Neo (MT15i), with the latest available ICS 4.0.4 update installed and working. Here is something that's been eating me for a while: I've always missed a landscape orientation of the home screen, and I've eagerly anticipated it with every new update. To my great disappointment, I still unsuccessful in achieveing landscape oriented home screen on my devise. That is, until recently, when I noticed that if I connect to phone with an USB cable to a computer, and then put the phone in a lanscape position, after about 15-30 seconds of heavy thinking, the screen does come up in a landscape mode! Totally shocked, I picked up the phone and disconnected it from the USB cable. Immediately, the home screen went to a portrait position and no matter how I did rotate it, it never switched back to a landscape mode. Until I connected it again to the USB cable... Weird! True, it takes it about 30 sec. to make the switch but it comes up in a landscape orientation only when it is connected viaUSB cable to a computer. why can't I have the landscape mode without the USB connection active?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone frequently returns a message "Error! Camera not Available!" when opening any application which uses a camera. This happens specially when the applicatons that scan barcodes are used ("AT&T Code Scanner", "OK Scan"), but not exclusively. Among the apps bringing the camera to a crash there are some of good reputation, like for example "Perfectly Clear". In the emergency mode the camera works OK.
The issue is the same as in this thread for Z1, however it disappoints me that the same happens in Z3 which is so much newer.
The support advised me to clear the data for the camera (Applications menu) and restart the phone. No dice, so they advised to reset the phone to factory defaults. I did it twice, due to after the first time I found exactly which apps caused the problem. It took me a day to restore everything to the original state .
Afterwards, the camera was stuck by "Perfectly Clear", a decent app written by a "Best programmer". I was depressed.
However, there is a solution: simply clearing all the apps running in the background (["three permanent keys in the bottom" | "two rectangles" | clear all], or [an icon with a green brush]). This works without a restart.
I recently noticed that my screen doesn't respond to go on landscape mode when I tilt the phone.. Auto-rotate is on, I never experienced this before.. I saw that other ppl also had this problem, some with the update.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI live in Curitiba, Paraná. I've been complaining about a Sony Xperia smartphone Z3. I purchased 15 days. The same has been exposed to splashing water (shower), which is acceptable because the equipment is designed for these situations splashes and even submersion, to its limits of course, had the same problems on the 09/08/15 03: 29 am began an endless vibration, even turning off the machine vibration remained and after endless vibration, 05:00 am it stopped and did not return to vibrate, but began another breakdown, celebrates open the camera unintentionally, the which it was in this condition when I got to this point of the complaint, (5:15 am) and so far did not return open.
I believe it is a problem in sealing the camera button, as it was for him that the problem manifested itself. I now believe that if there was water into the unit, the motherboard was damaged, so need immediate replacement device, for me the device is an essential commodity. I look forward soon return Sony's what should I do in this situation, since the device has addiction but not stopped operating (for now).
I've had my Xperia Z2 for about a month, three days ago the camera wouldn't start. When I open the app the screen is black. It's also the same if I try to start the camera using Instagram or Snapchat. I've tried to restart the unit and cacheclan phone to see if storage was the problem. I`ve also tried to connect to the "update service" but when I hold the "volume down button" and connect the usb I get a message that the program can't find the unit. Starting to be a bit frustrated. I'ts just problem with the front/main camera, not the small one.

After updating to ios4 it seems if you don't take pictures in landscape mode (holding camera horizontal instead of vertical) then when you view them on the computer they are sideways. They look fine on the IPhone when taken the old way. It's only when viewing on computer. Anyone else having this "problem".22 days to break a habit. 22 days to break a habit. 22 days to break a habit.

My phone will randomly lock in portrait mode. It is not the lock button on the multitask bar, I know iPhones inside and out but I am officially stumped. The orientation is unlocked, but the phone acts as if it is locked. I have tried a power down, power up, and a hard restart.
