As the title says it goes to landscape mode when it's in standby I checked the ScreenSave setted it from date & time to text but still the same thing.
Does anybody knows how i can set it back to portrait mode?
I have bought a N900 today and am busy testing it. With the phone, no real user guide was given. I downloaded one from the Nokia site. But I do not seem to find how to make the screen rotate.

View 6 Replies View RelatedStart camera up and it displays Camera in Standby Mode. There is a Continue option available however when selected the standby mode message reappears. I have also noticed that the Image Sequence setting is ON and Im unable to change this setting.Have tried hard reset and have upgraded to latest 10.5 software. Have also spoken to Nokia support with no luck.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI just bought Nokia e72 after researching online alot and was convinced that this is a great phone. I've been using it for couple of day now and overall I love it, but I do have one major issue. Every once in awhile it reboots itself, for no reason, then comes back to the standby screen. It does not seem to turn all the way off, but the screen goes black and I do see the word NOKIA on the background. This is very annoying. I have not noticed any patttern or certain thing I'm doing at the moment, just seems to be random. Does anyone have any idea what's causing it? Thanks in advance for any help / ideas.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI purchased a nokia 5230/5233 a month ago, everything worked fine until until the day before, at about 7:30 in the evening the day before, I discovered my screen wouldn't go into the landscape mode upon tilting, i restarted the phone, removed battery, formatted my memory card (could be a possibility of some corrupt 3rd party software install), later my friend suggested restoring the factory settings, I did so and everything was normal, the screen would go into landscape mode, but yesterday at around same time the problem recurred exactly after about 24 hrs, restored the factory settings and now things work what could be this problem? can someone throw light into this?

View 19 Replies View Relatedme and my brother use this nokia n8 for internet browsing, camera, and gaming.recently, i realized that the phone loses wifi signal when i hold it in landscape mode. when the phone is in portrait mode, the signal range shows 20-35%, but when i tilt the phone to landscape, the signal drops to 2-6%. it's funny when i'm watching videos on Internet, because i have to tilt my head instead of the phone and i can't use the advantage of the full stretched keyboard - with the tiny keyboard which is designed for one hand operation, i as a quicktyper have to correct every second word that i write.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo earlier today before I went in to school I put my phone in bedside mode (so that the led would not blink (I use berrybuzz, which is very bright)) then locked the keyboard and put it in standby, for added security, before putting it in my book bag. After 2nd period I got my phone out and it was hot, as if it had been continuously downloading something or playing a video. The screen was dim but never turned off. The battery, which was at 100% only 1 or 2 hours earlier, was drained to 1 bar. I checked to see if any apps were running, with no luck, and then pulled the battery out and left it out until about an hour ago or so. The phone is fine now, but I don't know what happened.

Just got the SE Xperia X10, I'm not sure what I click but it won't go to landscape anymore when I text. I really prefer texting in landscape mode. I just got the phone 3 days ago. I installed juice defender and task killer, I'm not sure if it has any thing to do with that.

when using anything in landscape mode, it doesn't show these items anymore.
It showed them always on my older iPhone 4 with IOS 7.Â
The "to top" button that auto scrolls to the top of the page (useful for sites that don't have a good set-up for phones).
That also showed how much battery life I have as well.
Also the Time, the 3G/4G, the signal strength, and if active the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth symbols.Â
I vastly prefer to use landscape mode when browsing the Internet or using email.
Since my eyes aren't what they used to be, I can't use portrait mode.Â
