View 3 RepliesI recently noticed that my screen doesn't respond to go on landscape mode when I tilt the phone.. Auto-rotate is on, I never experienced this before.. I saw that other ppl also had this problem, some with the update.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia Z2's screen work perfectly fine until I need to make a call. The second i hit the person's name on the call log, the screen becomes black, eccentially shutting off and not allowing me to turn it back on until the call has ended. The only way for me to end call is to press the power button. And if I do not have the setting on to do so, the power button still does not allow me to turn on the screen.

Now, I thought it was something wrong with the proximity censor (as in a Hardware fault, explained in the back story) until yesterday when i woke up and suddenly I could make a call with the screen on, but now the person on the other side was not recieving my Audio (but my phone mic was still working). After turning my phone off and back on, it reverted back to being able to make a call, but not being able to use the screen.
Recently, I've got a brand new Xperia Z5 Green International unlocked from Amazon. It's super awesome, but there's problem with its touch screen. It doesn't respond to tap some times.
I assume it's software problem due to over heated, because every time I have this problem after restarting phone, it's solved.
I have had my Xperia Ray since Christmas which worked fine but after a while i started to notice the screen kept failing to respond to touch. It gradually got worse but could be resolved by taking out the battery and placing back in but now it is being unresponsive for 3 days and the battery technique fails to work. I have also tried the repair software but this has failed to resolve the issue, this is extremely frustrating
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Experia Play for my son a few months ago, and a couple weeks ago the screen appeared pixilated with multiple colors. The screen does not change and we can't see anything or make calls from the screen. I tried a soft reset and removed the battery several times and nothing seems to work. My son said he did not damage the device- and I don't visibly see any damage, so I'm not sure if this is a known issue or if there is anything else I can possibly do to get it back to original working order?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen i play a game or Just chat, sometimes my screen doesn't respond to my touch. I have no screen protector and my Phone never fell. It's very annoying because very often When I'm done typing, I see that there are like 5 letters missing so i have to chat very carefully. My fingers are always clean and dry and i got the latest update. I tried like 5 virus scanners, but there aren't any virus. I rebooted my Phone many, many times. There are no pixels missing and my screen is very clean.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen the phone is on a table or similar flat surface and the phone screen is not responding when using your fingers?I do have a front and rear glass screen protector and a plastic clip on rear protective cover, so I am guessing, these are to blame, if so, why?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe start button on my Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 suddenly stopped working. Also the volyme controls next to it.I have shut down the phone with the reset-button behind the hatch, next to the SIM-card-slot, in hope that it would do some change to restart the phone. But now i can´t get the phone back on.
How do i start my Xperia Z3 when start button / power button does not respond? Is there a way to jumpstart it?

I have 100% power in the battery, and the battery icon shows when i have the power cable connected.I have tried to connect it to my PC with the USB-cable (with 4 treads in it, for data communication, and not only for charging), but PC Companion don't find my phone
The Screen doesn't respond when I want to answer a call ( the keyboared showed up after picking up the phone from my pocket ) and nothing can remove it ( the touch keys Back And Menu also don't respond )so I miss the call
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo. My Xperia is on (I can hear the notification ringtone go off whenever my phone gets a text message or a Facebook message) but it won't respond when I push the power button to light/wake up the screen. This started happening at 9PM and it is now 1:30AM. I don't know what to do.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWe've had this Torch 9800 for over a year now and now it will not respond to any screen touches. I can make a phone call by pressing the green phone button and then the number pad comes up and that works, just nothing works on the app screen when touched. Even though I've had this for over a year I'm still pretty baffled on how a lot of things work but I know something is wrong.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Samsung galaxy S6 on June 5th. On Sunday morning it was working fine. Sunday afternoon, I tried to use it and the screen will not recognize my touch. Everything works on the phone. The screen illuminates, it rings, I can talk on the phone through my car but I cannot do anything that involves using the screen. The back button will work but that is it. Unfortunately, I have a pin code security on the phone. I took it to Sprint and they had never seen this happen before on the this phone.
1. I have tried the reset, doesn't work.
2. How to get my data, like pics, off my phone considering I cannot unlock the phone because the screen doesn't respond?
i recently purchased a used HTC Touch Pro from ebay. So here the problem when the screen is off it wont respond when i press the front buttons. Only if i press the top button or open the phone will it come on.Is it designed this way or is my unit faulty.

My iphone 5s screen doesn't respond
What can I do?
I've had a problem that's been developing with my curve for a month or so, whereby it will stop responding to any button I push for no reason at all. No reaction from the power button, the scroller, the keyboard or even from putting it on to charge (when it doesn;t recognise that its being charged up). I've previously been able to fix this by taking the battery out, putting ti back in and letting it reboot itself. However, the number of times I've been haivng to do this has increased until as of a few days ago the batttery trick won't work either. My phone is now completely dead. I'll try to give as much info as is asked for in that sticky thread, but as I say, my phone is dead so I'm not able to check very much of it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSuddenly my touch screen AND keyboard are not responding. It has not been exposed to moisture.
Problems started yesterday. Touch screen started working eratically, then the keyboard stopped responding.
I've done the following with no success:
1) pulled battery and rebooted (multiple times)
2) ran backup from desktop, then reloaded the current OS (was already the latest version)
3) changed batteries
4) searched support communities for other ideas
Problem is I can't type my password into the phone and it's turned off phone service so I can't get calls. Touchpad works sporadically but only moves up and down, not side to side.
My gmail will load, but then the screen does not respond to touch so I cannot open it

My iPhone 4 (GSM version) has been freezing up lately. The keys do not respond and the screen is blank. The only way out so far has been to put the phone in DFU mode and restore in iTunes. This phone was previously locked to the AT&T network and was recently unlocked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy husband's iPhone 4S screen is damaged and we are trying to backup/sync before it goes for repair. iTunes prompting us to "Respond with iPhone to allow access", but we can't do this because the screen is damaged and there is no prompt to Trust this Computer on the phone screen. Is there any way to back up the phone without actually using the disabled screen?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect with the Standard Dock or Webtop travel Adaptor and sometimes with usb to my computer: The touch screen does not respond. Even stranger, I found out by accident while on a call to Motorola that if I use my finger nail it will work, just not smooth. I did not think a finger nail was supposed to work. Motorola told me to go to the Verizon store and see if any other device had the issue. Verizon said they could not connect to webtop and as expected the usb did not have any issues. Is this my phone only or are there any others with the same issue?I was thinking of getting a replacement, but they said I could only get a referb He told me a finger nail would not work, so I demoed it for him.He told me to wait for the Nov updates, but I don't see anything like this on the list.Is anyone using the Webtop travel adaptor with desktop PC. Mine is Windows 7.
View 6 Replies View RelatedFrom the first day I began using my DEFY (about 2 months ago) I have experienced a great deal of unresponsiveness with my touchscreen. Generally, when the phone goes into Locked/ Sleep mode I will attempt to unlock it and the screen will be unresponsive.Sometimes I'll be able to unlock it and then it will be unresponsive to touch. Most of the time, pressing the Sleep button and re-unlocking it will solve the problem, TEMPORARILY.
This is a frequent occurance and has gotten to the point where it significantly impacts my ability to use the phone effectively.Especially when I receive an incoming call that I am unable to answer because the screen does not respond.Motorola experts, would you recommend sending the phone in for warranty service? Are there any firmware upgrades I need to address this?
phone has been fine while plugged in, until about 2 minutes ago. plugged it in, tried to pull the notification bar down to switch to mass storage mode and the screen would not respond. took a couple swipes, and it eventually worked after a few tries.it's also doing it in my car dock now too.has been fine, nothing has changed, just started doing it out of the blue.
View 8 Replies View RelatedGot My Defy 2 days back. Last night it rained heavily and I had to walk from my office to home. It was a 30-35 minute walk. I put my Defy in my pocket and started walking thinking its a water proof phone. When I reached home, first the phone's screen didn't respond to any touch. After a minute it went completely black and I could see heavy moisture under the glass. Only sensors were throwing some colored lights. I tried to call from my friend's phone on my number, and I could listen to the ringtone only. I could not pick up the call since there was nothing at all on screen. Today I put the phone in rice for around 8 hours still the condition is same. Its very unfortunate that I could use and explore my phone properly even for 2-3 days.
