Whenever im at the homescreen, and i tilt the phone to the left..it will start switching to another screen..when i do this in the browser/message or something the cursor will start moving which messes everything up..is there a problem with it or is this a setting?

Some of the widgets and apps/folders I use during the working week are not relevant during the weekend. The message indicator on the home screen sometimes displays to the left of the time, and sometimes to the right. I thought at first it was an am/pm thing, but 10 minutes ago (8:41 ayem now) it was on the right, and now it just jumped to the left.
Does anyone know how to get owner information into the phone to appear on the home screen

Once this 'feature' activates, the right half of the screen will be updated, but at a very choppy rate. Only resolution is to reboot the phone.
Doesn't appear to have any correlation to apps I'm running. Has happened running Waze, gmail, and simply flipping through home screens.
This happens at least 2 to 3 times a day, and started happening after receiving the OTA on Saturday. Have had the 64GB version since mid-November. Has been rock solid until this past weekend.
Tried wiping the cache partition, but issue still occurs.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 with Android 5.1.1. Clicking central icons so good, but if the left click-activate the right and vice versa, so it is with the keyboard.My phone will rotee, install the recovery and install a stoc-rom, which one does not remember why I did several tests to see which I liked more.
I have done everything known: factory reset of the two known forms, install multiple stoc-rom, firmwares of several countries, including return to the previous version of Android 5.0.1, which I see, can not go back. All this with the Odin program. Also with Samsung Smart Switch "Emergency Recovery and initialization software."
I just noticed that I cannot tilt the screen anymore (when I hold it vertically screen doesn't adjust). What might be the problem? And how can I solve it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter installing the IOS 5.1.1 update on my iphone 4S, it left a picture on my phone screen of a USB cable pointing to the iTunes icon...i connected the phone to my macbook and it said this is a phone " IN RECOVERY' and that i needed to hit restore button for this phone to be able to communicate with iTunes ? it was working perfectly fine before i did this recommended download and installation ?

Assuming it's the lag problem (making a single press lag so long it seems like a long press), what are some strategies for clearing out less necessary tasks the phone is doing?
I recently bought Nokia 7020 Flip phone and found this problem with primary display which is 2.2 inches. Problem is you cannot read out the screen when you tilt the screen even 30 degrees. Photos just look like as negatives when you tilt the phone to 60 degrees angle. You can see the correct display on the screen only when it is exactly in front of your face. Is this a problem with my phone or it the problem with Nokia 7020 Flip phone itself.
Nokia Dealer told me that Nokia has introduce LCD screen for this phone and not TFT screen as found in any other model of Nokia, hence this is a normal behavior. You will see the display correctly only when it is exactly in front of your face/eyes.
I cannot check with any other dealer as they do not have any demo model of the phone which I can operate. All are factory sealed and dealer refuse to open the box to get hands-on experience. Even he refused to take back this phone saying this is normal behavior with this model, when I told him that I want to return this phone for this screen display problem.
I still cannot believe that Nokia will introduce this type of screen in this newer model, where user will have to keep the screen in from of his/her eyes without tilting even 30 degrees to see the correct display on the screen.Whether Nokia is compromising on quality to reduce the cost? Could anyone please confirm on this behavior of Nokia 7020 flip screen.
Happened a good three or 4 times on a call yesterday. I was talking on the phone and made sure I locked the screen and then ever couple minutes the screen would switch back n forth between that and speaker and nope it wasn't my face hitting the button on the screen.
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

So when I type, especially with typing in landscape it clicks and makes this weird sound like there is something sticky under the screen. Anyone else had this issue? View 8 Replies View RelatedI have to send my current phone in for repairs and was going to use my old LG F3 as a replacement until I get my current phone back from the shop.
When I tried to boot up the LG, it sticks on the LG start up screen. I tried to reset it by holding down the volume and on/off button, but all I get is a "fastboot" screen that does nothing.
I tried looking up information on this, but it's all technical talk and I don't understand any of it.
Any way to get this phone working again? I don't care if its wiped clean and have to start over.
Up until about four weeks ago, things were just peachy on the Auto Home and Navigation screens. Now, no matter what the brightness widget is set to, when I have my droid docked on the windshield, I can't see the menu(s). Also, the navigation screen is MUCH darker, but managable. Both these changes took place at the same time.

I can move them around, delete them, add widgets and shortcuts and stuff like that. BUT I can not add an app by selecting the 'add to homescreen' option. I cleared teh cache and am not runnng any boot loaders of the type. Up to date droid x.
