XM5800, Phone won't start up properly, doesn't load after the Nokia Screen. Basicall I turn it on and it goes the Nokia screen and then my background pops up but then nothing else happens, if I try to press button, the "Use keyguard switch to unlock screen and keys" message pops up, and nothing happens if I try to unlock it.

Just this afternoon, when I try to do anything on my 5800, it says use keyguard switch to unlock screen and keys. I slide the keyguard switch, it says the same.I also have a snall key icon at the top of the screen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm experiencing some weird problems on my 5800 xm. When I unlock the phone after it has been locked for a while the touch screen doesn't react at all. But if I lock and unlock again, it starts to work. Not a very big problem but kinda annoying. The other problem is that none of the physical buttons are working, except for the on/off button.
All those problems came at once and from no where. I hadn't installed or updated anything recently when it came. I've tried to update to v.50 and I've tried a "soft reset" but it isn't working. I can't do a hard reset since the buttons used for doing aren't working.
It feels like it's some kind of software problem rather than a hardware problem or what do you think? Anything I can try before going back to the store?
I have had an X6 for about a month now, and the slider keyguard on the phone had broken off. The phone is now in a permanent state of saying 'use keyguard to unlock keys and screen'. Obviously I cant because it doesn't work!!
I have tried leaving it switched off for 15 mins, and restating it. This lets me restart the time and date but then locks once the phone opens up. I have tried a drawing pin and paper clip to slide the keyguard without the keyguard but to no avail.
Why my msg indicator doesn't show till i unlock my screen?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter  dipping my phone in water for about 10 seconds at a depth of 15 cm, the touch screen went crazy. Brightness was at its maximun ignoring the ambient light sensor. 20 minutes later the phone was off. I thought was the battery, but before this, the battery was at 60 %. I let it in rise for two days, but it doesn't start or charge the battery. Is dead. Two times, when I connect the usb charger a red led light turns on, but turns off after a few seconds.

Does not respond to a hard reset, and not charging. I tried to charge it for 2 consecutive days. He did not turn on. When I tried to connect it to a PC, the red LED lights up. When I attempted to configure my email, it automatically asked to update with my carrier's email setup software. I just chose ok. I got three warning messages, which I don't exactly remember but it was about something may not function correctly (regarding to version difference). I just continued installation, and it asked for a reboot. When I rebooted the mobile, it goot stuck at the boot screen. Then nothing! I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.

As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. How do i switch the wallpaper so that it doesn't scroll when i flip thru my home screen panels? I think i had it set like that before the update but can't remember how. Also how do i keep the picture I want to use for my wallpaper from zooming in when i set it as my background? It displays perfectly when I view it in the gallery but magnifies absurdly when i set it to wallpaper.

I'd much rather just do the swipe. When I make a phone call, or accept a phone call, it seems my phone locks the screen completely, as if I had it next to my ear (i.e. the proximity sensor), even when I don't have it anywhere near my head.
I cannot end a phone call, or switch to loudspeaker etc. - nothing.
It takes me 7 tries to unlock the phone and then the screen doesn't want to work when I tap on it. I'm on my 3rd htc sensation the first two had the same problem htc really needs to fix these problems . I called htc yesterday to tell them all my problems and they told me I was only the second person to call about it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.
