when i get a new message, i just get a ring, but no information on the screen, what's the screen for if it doesn't tell me who that msg is from unless i unlock my phone and click on it? or do i have to configure it? anyone knows?
View 17 RepliesI have a bbm group chat with a few friends and sometimes if I send a message on the group, the first message doesn't show up on the screen, even though the message went through. If I close the chat screen and bring it up again, it'll show up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWith the newer Nokia Messaging versions (like the one included in the most recent E72 fw update) the behavior with POP email accounts is different. When replying to a message or forwarding a message the message does NOT show up in the Sent Items folder of the PHONE. If you send a message (without reply or forward) it DOES show up in the sent items folder of the phone. With the older versions of Nokia Messaging this did work. Extremely annoying for a messaging device. Nokia please FIX this or provide downgrades for.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen receiving a text message I can see the new message in my inbox but when I open the text message it isn't there, it only shows my last message. If I reply the missing message will then show up in the chat above my reply. A battery pull solves this problem but it only seems to be a temporary fix as it has happened again.
This is on the Torch 9810, 7.0 bundle 1328.
When I write something in the message area and send it to someone, my message dissapears in the conversation. But the person receives my message.

So even if it would work on the E6 (which it doesn't), it would not be a replacement for the improperly working notification light.

Instead, it only appears under "computer" when connected with a USB cable. Apple-based PCs have no problem seeing the phone on the network. I use Fing on everything but the W7 PC. I have it synced with Mac Desktop Manager and I see the audio files on the media card, but it doesn't show them in the media player. I can only see mp3 files, the m4a files don't show up. So it's scanning the media card for audio, it works for mp3 that are synced the same way the m4a audio is. I'm trying to listen to iTunes podcasts, the m4a versions don't work only mp3.
