So according BlackBerry the Bold 9700 supports m4a audio. I have it synced with Mac Desktop Manager and I see the audio files on the media card, but it doesn't show them in the media player. I can only see mp3 files, the m4a files don't show up. So it's scanning the media card for audio, it works for mp3 that are synced the same way the m4a audio is. I'm trying to listen to iTunes podcasts, the m4a versions don't work only mp3.
I'm new to these boards and to blackberry's so my question might be something simple that i just missed. I added a contact to my phone book from a text message i received from someone. it put their phone number under work instead of mobile. so i copied it and pasted it. But now i can figure out how to clear that out. whenever i text someone or what not, it keeps saying paste and still has that person's number in there. is there a way to clear out the copied info so that paste doesn't show up all the time. i have a blackberry bold 9700.
Both devices are up to date and on wifi. FaceTime is activated in the settings. I've restarted both devices. If I make a face time call the other person can hear me but I can't hear them unless I mute my microphone. So then to respond to them I have to unmute my mic, respond, then quickly mute again to hear their response. I'm having to do this with both devices. The process is the same with speaker phone, ear buds, or Bluetooth device.
What do I do to get my FaceTime to work properly? I can receive FaceTime calls and see the callers but I can't see myself and the callers can't see me, although they can hear me. Also, the video/audio sidebar next to the picture does not display. My FaceTime works on my iPhone 5s.
After a hard reset on 8.1 lost all audio. Not only is their no sound, when pressing a ringtone or play in Spotify there is no touch response to show the sound is "playing".
Since I have updated my iPhone 4S to iOs 8.1.1 my car audio (using a usb cable) starts up and after that immediately says "onderbroken" (dutch word for disconnected)
When I start music using the touchscreen of the iPhone (which by law I am not allowed to do while driving) then the music will play normally over the car audio.
The car is a 6 months old Opel with built-in audio system nr. 650.
I have downloaded a new audio book, but when I sync my phone, it doesn't get transferred. I can do a general search on my phone and find it when I'm home, most likely due to home sharing, but it doesn't exist in the Music app. Am I doing something wrong?
I have the constant message of "unable to pair to audio device" constantly flash on my Bold 9780 when I connect the bluetooth in my car. The phone connects fine and I am able to make receive/calls, so I don't understand why I keep getting this message and how to get rid of it.
I am having BlackBerry 8520 Curve and purchased it on May'10. After buying this BB handset I am facing the problem in audio and not able to listen the voice clearly. I had submitted my handset for 4th time at Redington India Limited Ahmedabad for the same issue, but the problem is yet not rectified.I have submitted my handset again at Redington on 26th July 2012 and they have given me the estimate of Rs. 4200 to change the housing of the handset. Before that I have given my handset at Redington for the same audio problem on 14th Mar 2012, 16th Jan 2011 & also give while the handset was in warranty period, but the problem is still same. Now my question is that, I have give mobile 4 times for same issue and still I am facing same problem than why should I pay for housing, as it is manufacturing fault of handset. Still my mobile is at Redington and I want the permanent resolution for the audio problem, and if you are not able to solve the problem than please keep the handset with you, as I don't want the defective handset.I have purchased the Blackberry as it is the brand name and for the service but I am really disappointed by such kind of worst service.Removed personal information to comply with Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions of Use.
When an audio device is connected to my car audio, the symbol ♪ appears, telling me that not only a PHONE device is connected, but also an audio device, so that I can make calls and also listen to music (in 2 different sources: one for calls (BT Phone channel)and other for mp3 (BT Audio device) < this one with a real good audio).
I connected my nokia c3 to this car audio but it wasnt recognized as an audio device, only as a phone and the symbol ♪ didn't appear. That is, I CAN play songs, but the audio quality is horrible, trashy, as if it was a phone call (cuz it will use the bt phone source, not the bta device). But when i connect any other phone, the audio plays normally.
I got the c3 connected to my PC and it was also recognized as a phone (and also a modem) BUT NOT as an audio device.
I got Nokia 500, and for some reason the audio output(Jack 3,5mm) doesn't work Any things i plugged in doesn't give results.I can hear the voice when i unplug headphones, like it should be.
Anyone please tell me how you can load an audio book onto your bb. I have books download in Itunes. But so for some reason they won't load onto my phone. I have tried using the media manager on my desktop. But when I open it up the area is grayed out,
I am trying to figure out if there is a way I can enable audio at the device while the headphone jack is in use. The reason is, I am using my headphone jack to record the call to an external recorder. But I of course need to be able to hear the caller too. Is there a way?
Upgraded last night to 5.0.0.822 and now phone DOES NOT ring. Also get message "An error has occurred attempting to play media" for ALL media types even when I test the profiles.Pulled battery and all the usual tricks but no help.camera sound does work. How do I downgrade OS and which one should I go to since this one is no good?
After upgrading to 5.1.1 - my handsfree kit connects with iPhone still fine, but it has become impossible to hear any calls through it?! Whereas, I used to have an option to "choose audio output" (iPhone, speaker, or handsfree device), there is now only the standard built-in speaker option - as though no Bluetooth were connected. The handsfree device (Blueant S4) is connected and contacts synced, and still allows me to make calls - and yet, the audio of the phone calls can only be from the iPhone itself.
Just I have updated AUDIO on Lumia 950xl with 10586.36..Now the setting doesn't open anymore (open and close ) and if I insert and earphone the audio become zero.
I have been having a serious issue with my Lumia 1020 there is no audio from the phone what so ever. I cant hear people when they ring and they cant hear me. The phone does not let me play music on it or play videos unless I go onto the internet and look at a youtube video but there is still no sound from it. Another issue is that when I go onto the camera app and select to take a video the phone closes its self out of the app. It does this same thing in other apps were I try to play any type of audio. There is no volume control because when the buttons are pressed a small gray strip across the top of the screen appears and goes away after a couple of seconds. Mechanically the buttons work as a have performed multiple master resets on the phone which involves using the volume down button.
I hav noticed that when I pair my device with a bluetooth speaker, that sometimes audio will still come out of the Bionics speakers instead of the bluetooth speakers. For example, the alarm clock alarms.
I had problems in playing MKV videos and also I have seen in the android market that many of our Moto users have said that our stock players doesnt give audio for HD MKV files. Give a try to the latest MX Player, its plays everything people!
I recently bought a new VW GTI. I'm a software engineer and I'm very well versed in my iPhone and it's operation. My car maintains 2 external connections with my phone. My hands free phone requires the use of bluetooth. For my stereo, I perfer the MDI to dock connector for the audio quality. Here is the following problem I experience.
I turn on my stero to the MDI input interface Listen to music, and use Waze to navigate Receive a phone call, which initiates the bluetooth audio out End the phone call
Audio out is now set to bluetooth. It does not return to the MDI output interface, as a result my stero doesn't work.
I've gone digging through all my settings, but I can't find anything relevant to what I want. Basically I want to set my audio device output preference order. My device order would be the following.
MDI Interface VW Bluetooth Headphones/Speakers
Is it possible to to this or something similar with my iPhone?
I want to connect my xperia pro to my car audio system. (Bluetooth of my car audio system has a pairing code) when I want to connect, the page of entering pairing code not appear and an error will appear in screen ("wrong pairing code").
I am from India just got a BB 9380 Curve. But its got OS7. I was told that it can be upgraded to OS 7.1 which has a lot of new features, like FM Radio, Mobile Hotspot, Wifi Calling, bbm 6.1, Faster Browser, Smart Tag Update, But when ever I open my Desktop software and connect my phone to my laptop to see if the update in available it just does NOT show me any update.
my new G3 does not appear on any WindowsPCs (W7 File Explorer), when using wifi. It should appear under "network". Instead, it only appears under "computer" when connected with a USB cable. Apple-based PCs have no problem seeing the phone on the network. I use Fing on everything but the W7 PC. On that PC, I use file explorer, or Motohome Viewer (where it does appear), because I have a Motorola Netopia gateway (2247-B).
My device shows up in iTunes, but not in my computer. I already unistalled and re-installed iTunes with the latest version and its still not showing. What should I do?
I have set up and used itunes before on this phone. I have restarted comp, upgraded to updated itunes, used various usb ports, and turned phone on and off.
