At the top left of my N8 there is this blinking envelope and the 'sim card full' msg. appears as I touch it. no contacts and no sms on the sim card. Contacts > Options > Memory > SIM Memory - shows 0 Contact persons and Free=500.All SMS msgs are deleted (no unread sms).How to have this blinking stop?

- A second problem is the SMS notification, that appears as a wild sequence of TV commercials would do during your favorite tv show : very annoying, whatever the circumstances. The popup forbids me to do anything quietly and peacefully, i'm interrupted and have to click on it in order to make it disappear. (I don't care if Mr X is harassing me while i'm browsing the web)
So my phones led won't stop blinking even though I don't have any new messages or anything.. It jst blinks till u don't reboot it. I have already reinstalled my os twice then also this problem is there what to do?

Ever since, my light is blinking like there is something I need to check, but I have gone in and been through every app and even the hidden folders and can not find any notifications. I have done a hard reset. I am on 5.0 currently and there are no icons at the top of the screen or anything to show me what I need to check to turn the light off.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI finally updated my firmware today with the 031 version, i was using before the 021 version with the old firmaware i had some problems with the camera and the blinking LED.I updated today hoping that those problems would get solved but i noticed that they stills exist.When i take pictures the phone stops responding for a couple of seconds and the taskbar below becomes a bit foggy while the blinking LED doesn't stops blinking after the phone enters the standby mode.i've set it to stop after 5 minutes but it doesn't stop at all and it's very unconfortable during sleep time at night having to whatch your room blinking.does anyone else had the same problems and maybe solved them?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently got the excellent E72, so I unlocked my old 5800 xpress music so my wife could have a decent phone (it was on T mobile she is on Orange), everything works fine however I have a flashing envelope icon in the top right hand corner, when I touch this it says "sim memory full", I have deleted all the contacts etc from the sim and moved them to the phone memory but it still persists, can anyone tell me how to stop this ?, its not a major problem but I'd like to stop it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner)
2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!)
3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great!
4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.
My nokia 6300's screen blinks white and black for 3 to 4 times then it comes back to normal. I have got it repaired 6 times in last two months from Nokia care. Every time they say that this problem is caused due to virus in memory card. They update the phone software and give to me. They tell me not to use bluetooth.

The problem is that in the guarantee assistance centre I was told that the phone is in a good technical condition, but it needs some software installed that has not been issued yet, and they have no idea when it will be issued. So right now I find myself in a situation without the phone, and the seller refuses to give me back either the money or a new phone. He says it is my fault that the phone is in this condition now, even though the assistance centre gave a different statement (software).

Yesterday before sleep it was with more than a half of akku, today as im woke up and got it in my hands it was off, im plugged charging cable, was thinking maybe the battery was drained, but nothing happens still, its just blinking red (led).
Was trying to hold power + volume up, nothing. Reset key near sim dont works for me either - i'm just notice 3x vibrations and thats it, its just repeat vibrate 3x times again and again but nothing happens, no boot.
