Eseries / Communicators :: E7 SIM Memory Full Blinking Warning?
Nov 10, 2011I am unable to find a way to free the SIM memory.
View 4 RepliesI am unable to find a way to free the SIM memory.
View 4 RepliesI have a problem that my E5 keeps telling me it is out of memory, to the point where it has become unusable. I've deleted applications and messages, but it seems to keep filling up and either tell me memory is low or that it is out of memory.
Options -> Memory -> Phone Memory tells me that there is over 200MB in 'Other Files', but File Manager doesn't show them and neither does the file explorer I downloaded from the Ovi Store. So I have no idea what can be taking up all the space...
I don't seem to be the only person with this problem, and since I've deleted as much as I can I don't see how it can be my fault! I am getting so frustrated with this phone
MY E7 keeps indicating that my memory is full. How do I divert all the stuffs on phone memory to the detached memory card. It keeps saying memory low and its so annoying.
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy e63 keeps showing the error message 'phone memory full'.file manager says that 119mb are in use, but i can't 'see' the files that are taking up all this space.i've deleted surplus applications like Internet - but could someone possibly suggest how to free up more space? i don't think it's being taken up by emails or text messages (121kb) either.i would prefer not to format the memory, just delete whatever is taking up the 119mb.
View 10 Replies View RelatedLately Ive been getting notifications on my Nokia E5-00 saying the phone's memory is full. When browsing through my phone memory, there are almost no files.Although I have some apps installed, there not that much of being capable of consuming all that memory. Is there any way to clean up my phone memory (besides uninstalling apps), to get more memory? Or seeing what's consuming all that space? Can I e.g. delete some MfE emails (without deleting those emails from the servers)?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI bought my Nokia E5 about 2 days ago.It worked fine untill yesterday when a message started appearing sayng that the phone memory(c)is full and that I should move or delete some files from the phone memory. The thing is that when I go to file manager all the files are empty.File manager shows 25 Mb free and the rest is in use mainly by "other folder"wich is empty.I only use my memory card for everything except for the contacts wich I keep on the phone memory(63 kb).I removed all apps that could be removed,I deleted all emails, all texts, all notes, calendar entrie, cleared up the cache, cleared up my browsing history,I tried it without the memory card,I tried with another memory card,I gave it 2 factory reset, removed the battery.I tried everything I could think of
View 3 Replies View RelatedI own a E7-00 and would install some more maps to cover more areas. Now I found that the phone memory is complete full and mass memmory only has 1.6gb left.
How can I determine which application or data is using storage memory? There are no movies, music or other "big" files copied to the phone (as far as I know). The only thing I know is "maps". From my experience with E90 and E71 all available maps need about 8GB space, this should fit to a E7 with 16GB
i was facing "Memory Full , Close some Application" in FW 71.004 . Before 71.004 version my phone work nice. But after 71.004 update its always shows memory full error. View 9 Replies View RelatedMy brand new E72 did not allow to connect via USB indicating a "Memory full error - close applications".
I was in the process of setting it up and had just defined three mailboxes (Exchange, GMail and IMAP) and installed Skype. It turned out that I had to exit Skype before I could connect USB.
So what is a multitasking OS worth if it cannot cope with one extra application, or should I blame the programmers of Skype?

I am having a problem with the Web browser (NokiaBrowser) when displaying certain animated GIFs. The Web browser crashes with the error "Memory full. Close some applications and try again.". One example of such animated GIF is here: [URL]
I am using NokiaBrowser 7.3.1.34 and E52 firmware 091.003. The animation worked flawlessly in older firmware/browser versions.
Ever since I have bought Nokia E7 it had almost full phone memory. I've done many hard resets and after every one the situation is the same. With no applications instaled it had 35 MB of free phone memory. After I install Anna upgrades 1/2 and 2/2 it's memory is reduced to about 5 MB. When I look details in phone manager, it shows me that there is 410 MB of "other files". That is impossible since there are no files on the phone after hard reset. And I can't find those files anywere on the phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am getting error messages that the phone memory is full, and I should move data to the SD card. However, as far as I can tell, there is practically nothing on the phone memory. I have no apps installed, everything I can is set to use the SD card, SD card is the default memory.I have a few emails, but nothing in sent items, or deleted items. There are a couple of hundered contacts, but I can't image that uses much.Viewing details using OVI it tells me 3.8MB of 256MB free. The software version is 054.005, and according to OVI that is the latest.I have seen lots of other threads with the same problem, but have not been able to find any solution in the threads. I have tried everything I have read (re-installing the software, rebooting, etc. etc.). Can I view what is in the phone memory (I cannot find a way, only to view what is on the SD card) if I could view it then memory I would know how to free memory up.
View 5 Replies View Relatedupdated with the last software, and I'm having a lot of troubles in it, since I buy itbefore updating, the phone used to:-when I turn the Bluetooth on, no device can discover me( available is on)< until I switch the phone off and then on- when I used to search for available networks, it gives system error- and the still problem: General/ memory full please close some applicationsafter updating the software the first 2 problems disappeared but the 3rd became worseIt uses to appear every time I capture a (panorama mode) picture, and when I use the internet. And when I open more than 4 applications at oncebecause I'm about to smash the phoneThe phone is Finland make< and I was surprised for this, I think the best phone I ever had was the N95 8GB. This phone used to run 80 applications at once

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am about to back up my files before installing the latest firmware update but the phone says "memory full, close some applications" or something to that effect. However, I have over 12 GB of memory on my phone. So what gives? I've read forum threads for other Nokia phones that have the same problem and the only solution is to do a hard reset.
View 4 Replies View Related1) I am unable to either open the message section, forget reading or sending messages and it shows he error which says "Messaging Memory full. Close some applications and try again" I have tried every possible way i guess. Have deleted all my messages from the cell( Sim, Memory card and from phone memory as well), but no result.. Still unable to send messages. I tried restarting my cell phone, Closed all applications, infact uninstalled many, Formatted memory card and everything.
2) The message tone in my cell doesnt work. Also it doesnt vibrate when any sms comes. Dont know why it has happened like that. Its ongoing since about 6 months now Nothing has worked for both the problems.
Okay, the night between the 29th and 30th of October meant adjusting for day light saving. Before I went to bed, I set the clock back one hour and made sure that the phone had all automatic time changes OFF since I've had problems before with this (only with Nokia, worth mentioning). On the morning of the 30th, my collegue calls me and wonders if I am at work. Turns out the stupid phone set the time back one hour as well without informing that such a thing would happen! I was one hour late for work and it was all because of the phone! Why did it not say that automatic time changes was planned to occur? And why did it change it even though all automatic changes was turned off?
