My nokia 6300's screen blinks white and black for 3 to 4 times then it comes back to normal. I have got it repaired 6 times in last two months from Nokia care. Every time they say that this problem is caused due to virus in memory card. They update the phone software and give to me. They tell me not to use bluetooth.
View 10 RepliesMy phone has been acting up lately with the screen blinking between bright and normal and now it's stuck on bright with washed out colors. Its like a gradient from left to right, if you open the keyboard it's very apparent its like a gradient from white to gray. Looks like the left hand side of the screen is going overdrive and going as bright as it can almost?

my Nokia Web Browser after the site is completely loaded the broswer goes into full screen view mode and doesn't get back to its normal mode making it impossible for me to exit it manually which makes me yurn off my phone and then exit. Douple tapping doesn't help I have tried that it zooms in the and zooms out nothing else.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone display is showing all my apps and text about 4x bigger than normal. It's a ***** to try to move around the pane and especially to do my pin if I turn it on. Tapping three fingers on the screen doesn't change the zoom.  I managed to get into Settings to check if the display was zoomed and it was set on standard. Resetting the phone doesn't work either. This has happened on my older 5s when my hand has been on an open display when the phone was in my pocket.  I think this last time my hand was on the screen for more than 10 seconds.

At the top left of my N8 there is this blinking envelope and the 'sim card full' msg. appears as I touch it. no contacts and no sms on the sim card. Contacts > Options > Memory > SIM Memory - shows 0 Contact persons and Free=500.All SMS msgs are deleted (no unread sms).How to have this blinking stop?

i just noticed that whenever i text and the background is white, the screen usually blinks a little but noticeable,, for example here i will text this is white background i will see from here that my screen is blinking while im texting specially when i'll touch the space bar.. Uhmm its not a major problem but i found it somewht annoying on my part because my friend has a nokia lumia 610 and i already tried what ive tried on my nokia lumia 900 and it seems that his phone has no problem regarding with the littleness blinking screen.. Hmmm it is only 6days old phone.,Fyi guys ive tried to adjust the brightness to low,medium and high. And switch to white screen background would i just reset the phone?? So my phone said that there's an update and I went ahead and pressed okay for it to install. It went straight to Android system recovery and now every time I push reboot system now, it goes right back to the system recovery page, and when I take my phone battery out and put it back in, it still does the same. Phone shuts down while it still shows 100 percent battery life. Normally not a big deal because I don't use it all the time but lately an issue when I'm working in Manhattan and it shuts down while in the middle of conversation or emailing. I can't go around charging it every hour wondering what my battery life really is.

I had belle for few weeks on my n8 now and I noticed very annoying issue. At completely random times screen goes off. It is not going off per settings. I have to lock the screen and then unlock it or else there is no response by touching it. I could be browsing web or checking email and it will go dark, it is not because of lack of activity.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 6300 and when I lock the keypad - pressing joystick then * It locks ok but if it remains locked for a while unlocking it takes a few attempts.It's as if the joystick button needs to be pressed a few times.It is on power saver and sleep mode and when I hit the joystick button there is a darkened screen and I can make out the instruction to hit * but hitting * doesn't unlock it.I then have to hit the joystick button a few times till a brightly lit up screen appears before I can hit * and unlock it.

A friend can bookmark this page on his phone and call it "Hornsey". He can do the same for the page for "Kings Cross". Now he has a number of pages, one for each of the stations he commonly uses and all named after the station - great.
But my 6300 doesn't seem to allow this. All my bookmarks are named after the WAP page title - "Departures". Yes, I have multiple pages all heolpfully bookmarked as "Departures". So how can I save pages using sensible bookmark names and rename the ones I already have with useless names?
I have a 6300 import that I brought home from a vacation, but when I popped in my SIM car, it turned on, but there is a message were the name of the server is, said "No Service". There is service, but the most confusing part of it to me is that it is not tied to a carrier. What is wrong?
