After installing 10.586.29 from windows insider, my nokia lumia 1320 doesn't booting and just showing up "Nokia" on screen and flashing several times then shutting down and again same thing.
View 4 RepliesMy Nokia Lumia 1520 fell and the screen glass broke. However the screen was working fine. I ordered a new screen replacement and replaced the screen only to find out that the touch was not working in the new screen assembly so i will return it back.
I put the old screen back again and now i get white tv noise on booting and then the screen goes dark and stays that way. I can hear the sounds from the phone and it does seem like it functions properly but i can't see anything.
I tried soft and hard reset with no luck. What might be the cause for the white noise and dark screen? Could it be a display connector fault on the motherboard?
Got my phone two days back, and I've realized the back button isn't always responsive. Sometimes I feel like its maybe due to the fact I have another finger on screen, but then even when I remove the finger it may not work. After a few taps it comes back to life. Is it a known issue with Lumia/WP8 devices? I did a Google search but that turned up nothing!
View 6 Replies View RelatedNew 1320 running WP8.1. When I got it, I stuck in an old Micro SD card I had.It worked OK, but I had a new,bigger one on the way.That turned up today.
When I try to sync pics from my PC, they are added.But they do not show up in the gallery.The folders do not appear at all, BUT I have the Photos live tile set up to show Favourites...as I add and remove folders, the Favourites list get shorter or longer.
Add videos, appear straight away, same with music.
The same photos are on the other SD card I used and they were fine
Reformatted card ,same thing . In Storage Sense they are showing up as Other rather than Photos
I have recently downgraded to win8.1 and now trying to upgrade to w10 mobile , but insider app is showing "no builds". lumia 1320.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat is happening: Notifications like photo comments, tags, favorites, likes, game notifications are not showing up under the action center. This is happening for a certain number of applications (Facebook, Twitter, Path, 6tag, etc). Mostly, none native applications. Only native applications and a few third party applications are showing up in the Action Center as well in the Settings under 'Notifications+Actions.'
What I have tried to do to resolve the issue: I have uninstalled the applications, reboot the phone, reinstalled the applications, checked the settings of the applications itself (eg. checked facebook settings for notifications - they were on). And lastly, restarted/refreshed/formatted the phone. Also, I tried to remove those icons from the lockscreen for their corresponding applications (I've read that somewhere in MS Answers), they said application notifications will only show if they are allowed to run in the background (check) and if they are not included in the Quick Status for the Lockscreen (check).
What I got on my hands: I have a lumia 1320 running the latest firmware available from MS/Nokia, Lumia Denim. I have a 16gb micro SD card in the phone.
like the title says my store tile isn't updating...today only I got all the update counts on my 720 but nothing on my 1320.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSo, for the past few days, when I wake up in the morning, I have found that the lower half of my screen is flashing. I use the AlarmDroid app and have done so since I got the device in February, so I didn't think that this would be the cause. It will flicker for a while, then eventually stop, so I can't just take it to erizon and show it to them. It only seems to do it first thing in the morning when I wake up (plugged into the charger). I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but no change. The only thing I can think of is that a couple of weeks ago my phone would not restart, so I had to reset to factory defaults. This started after I did the factory reset.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just received a SIM-free Lumia 820 delivered from Germany.
When first switched on, it displays what I assume is a Vodaphone splash screen of some sort. This appears before the NOKIA logo (which in turn appears before the blue Windows Phone 8 splash screen).
My current phone (Lumia 800) came from Italy and the about page shows that the original carrier was WIND, but in everyday use, there is no visible consequence.
On the 820, there seems to be some kind of carrier branding embedded deep into the phone. On the 'Extras + info' page of settings, in the additional info block, it says Mobile Operator Name VOD-DE, which is presumably Vodaphone Germany.
I tried re-setting the phone completely, but this behaviour remains. Can I do anything to get rid of this pre-boot splash screen? It's not a really big deal, but this kind of stuff irritates me beyond reason.
Galaxy S6 SM-G920V firmware G920VVRU3BOG5 (5.1.1)
When I'm trying to power on the phone, I get the initial black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen. Then everything goes black and the blue LED on the top left lights up and stays on, does not flash or dim, just stays on. The phone does not vibrate or make any sound when it does this.
What I've tried to fix it:
1) Power + Volume down (maintenance boot mode) ... I've tried normal boot, factory reset and booting in safe mode, all just give me a black screen with the blue LED.
2) Power + Volume Up + Home (andoid system recovery screen) ... When doing this, the phone displays the black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen, followed by a bluish colored screen with a little android guy on it, followed by the dead android guy with a yellow exclamation triangle over his head, then goes into the android system recovery menu. On this screen I can wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and reboot and I still get a black screen with a steady blue LED.
3) Power + Volume Down + Home followed by Volume Up (Downloading screen) ... Takes me to the bluish screen warning me about downloading a custom OS. After hitting up it does not show the knox has ever been triggered. I've tried using ODIN 3.10.6 to reinstall fresh firmware (5.1.1 G920VVRU3BOG5) and after it successfully installs it, it boots to a black screen with the steady blue LED.
I own a SM-G920F from Austria, and i tried to update the Android version to 6.0.1 by downloading the United Kingdom ROM. Unfortunately, after flashing it, odin failed, and now my device cannot boot and shows a error.
I have tried the 5.1.1 version from UK, but that failed too just after a second of pressing Odin, what to do now.
I have facebook App installed on my lumia 1320, but my lumia 1320's calendar is not synchronized with facebook calendar. Hence I am not able to see Facebook calender's birthday on my lumia calendar.

My new phone and my old one both have done this, does anyone have the same problem? And does anyone know why it does this or maybe how to fix it?

After showing this error my phone switch off. Its happened when I try to update my phone to gingerbread.
On my lumia 1320, on notification screen, below the battery icon there is a battery percentage number, next to this battery percentage, I see a ratio like 7/11 or 2/25 or 2/26.
When i searched on internet i see many pictures with numbers like 2/25 etc.
What does these number signify.
On the lock screen.
Is there a way to show what alarm times are set, for which days and multiple alarms?
The alarm icon does show on the top of the screen. But no other info.
My old galaxy nexus would show this info.
Is there a way to set this up to show?.
I've aquired a N900 with the never ending flashing dots boot problem. I've tried reflashing it a couple of times from my windows 7 laptop but no luck. I did get it to boot into the OS once, but turned it off to insert the SIM and had the same problem again. Is there anything I can try to get this thing working properly again?

Battery is eventually full so I unplug the cord and the phone just dies, screen goes black.Try to power it back on and im greeted by the low battery icon. Have had it back on the charger for 3-4 hours but still gets the same message. I was able to set it up and it seemed fine until unplugging the cord and now it doesnt want to charge, did I get a lemon or what?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI keep having an error on boot-up where, after the Nokia logo comes and goes, the flashing dot sequence continues indefinitely, for hours; boot-up is never completed. The N900 becomes unusable. While in this "Forever Dots" state, if I try:
- tapping on/off button: flashing dots pause for a moment, then continue flashing forever as before- holding on/off button: device switches off; but when I switch it back on, after the Nokia logo we're back to the forever flashing dots- taking out the battery and replacing: same as holding on/off button..............
The application in Weather ( Microsoft ) and Weather Tap Plex
Both these apps have Lock screen capabilities, i.e., they can display the temperature with wall paper.
I'd seen that both of them work pretty fine ( except the microsoft weather app temperature is not accurate).
The issue showed up after I configured my corporate email ( microsoft exchange server ).
After this, though the settings show that lock screen has weather configured, when i check the lock screen, it shows the weather based wall paper, but the temperature never shows up.
I have tried these weather apps individually but whatever be the settings or options, the lock screen only shows the exchange server calendar and email notification and the wallpaper from weather App, but never shows the temperature.
Why is my lumia 1320 get a multi colored paint like sreen after a hard reset.,?i flashed it many times but still the display is distorted.,what should i do?is it a hardware issue?my phone haven't fell at all..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia Lumia 710 since April 2012. But, from today (9 September, 2012), it's camera stopped working properly. I clicked a pic and then put it in my pocket. I took it out five minutes later to take another one, and since then it's been showing a vertical line. I thought I busted the cover-glass. But it was spotless. So I did a reboot. That did not work. So I immediately checked some other applications that access the camera (like ShutterPro and Handyscan). They too showed the line. Then I reopened the camera app and I zoomed in and even the line got magnified. So I took a sample picture, and viewed it on my laptop. It is a pattern of dots. I enclose the photo with this.
