So my phone said that there's an update and I went ahead and pressed okay for it to install. It went straight to Android system recovery and now every time I push reboot system now, it goes right back to the system recovery page, and when I take my phone battery out and put it back in, it still does the same. Is my phone completely messed up now or something?

in the recovery menu i can only see the following options:
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
i tried reboot system now but it wont work.....it jus shows the M logo which goes on and off every 5 seconds...
how do i perform a normal boot
I generally don't have trouble getting through a work day with my S6, but I do wonder whether the Android utilization is high. During a typical day (1 - 2 hours SOT, 14-15 hours off charger), I'm burning about 60%-70% of total battery, 30% of which is Android System (~22%) and Android Kernel (~8%). Google Play and other apps are all typically < 5%. Is this normal, or does this indicate that a factory reset might be a good idea? On previous phones I don't recall core Android being this high (usually <10%).

Phone shuts down while it still shows 100 percent battery life. Normally not a big deal because I don't use it all the time but lately an issue when I'm working in Manhattan and it shuts down while in the middle of conversation or emailing. I can't go around charging it every hour wondering what my battery life really is.

I tried to upgrade the iphone to ios 5.1.1 when the download was complete, phone went to recovery mode and the upgrade process failed, the phone never came back to normal mode.

So I was running screwd ROM with elementalX kernel. Everything was working great but I'm a long time DU user. Went to their G+ page flashed ROM. I had issues with it so I wiped and restored my backup of screwd ROM through TWRP. The first go around I selected to restore all partitions. It got stuck on the boot logo. Booted back into recovery and restored android again. This time I unchecked the vendor image box and restored the rest of the partitions. Worked like a charm.

Since I couldn't connect to a WiFi where I was, I decided to switch to my cellular data. But as soon as I did that the notification disappeared. I tried finding it on my phone settings, where you go to settings-->about phone-->system updates. It says my device it upto date. How can I retrieve the notification? I was waiting for my android OS update for a month and then this happened.

At the command fastboot flash system C:anglerimagessystem.img and it has sat here for over an hour and a half now with the output of writing 'system'. If I'm not mistaken, my phone is basically bricked at this point, as all I have written to the phone right now is recovery and bootloader really, and since I flashed the stock bootloader that means it is relocked.
Is there any way I can unlock it from here and then flash TWRP again, and then restore one of my backups of my 6P to at least get it working again?
My problem is that I forgot my unlock pattern. My Xperia Z3 is running Android Lolipop/5.0. I've been looking at every nook and cranny in the internet, but every method stated on these pages/sites didn't work for me (hardware buttons)

When I go to wipe my cache partition, before the boot menu appears I get a message every time that says "Installing System Update" and the little Android guy appears and acts like he's doing something. Normally functioning phones seeing this message before getting to their cache wipe?
I've done full Factory Resets twice now and also many cache wipes but I'm wondering if that original T-Mobile update on the first day got hung up and won't fix itself even with Factory Resets. And, wondering if perhaps other T-Mobile users have the same problem too causing the litany of issues we've seen.

I've got a very big problem, since the last update im experiencing heavy battery drain and as i can see its becouse of the "android system" uses 50-90% of battery.Before the update this number was around 3-10%. I just don't know what is wrong with the phone. Android (and GSam) claim that the highest user of battery is Android System and Android OS.
What I have done:
-Used LG Access Lock to deny keep awake and location permissions
----worked for a few days and then battery life fell back off
-Full reset of phone
----battery life is actually worse after the reset
-Battery saving location settings
Possible suspects:
-Pebble watch --- constant on bluetooth maybe?
-Facebook/Messenger/Snapchat/etc --- wanting my location constantly?
It is correct that the android system on a brand new Xperia Z3+ uses 9.42GB of the phones memory. Surely this can't be right because it's only a 32GB phone it's not even one week old and it's telling me that 75% of my memory is full. How I can reduce the size of this file...

Did a factory reset for no reason and my phone died while it was resetting. Ever since it's been stuck at the android recovery, Factory reset isn't working, gives me the error : Failed to mount data, pretty much tried everything, with no luck, uploaded a video of me trying so you can see what's happening, I'm almost giving up on it.
Tried wiping cache, connecting to pc shows me a blank usb drive that's inaccessible, can't find phone on htc sync, tried to adb shell: No devices found.
The phone had no problems prior to the needless reset, the phone wasn't rooted.
When loading iTunes this morning an update that I had been putting off popped up and I figured since I was going to be in the house for a while I'd finally do it. An error took place that I foolishly ignored and made no note of.
My iPhone is now stuck in Recovery mode (I assume so anyway, after having googles my problem for hours), iTunes tells me I need to restore the phone and so I click to allow it to. It then gets to the "Preparing iPhone for restore" and just sits there, doing nothing.
