About a week ago my Droid started blinking on and off randomly and now it will not turn on. When I plug it into the charger I can see light in the charger port. I bought the phone into my local verizon store and they tried a new battery and it still did not work.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have been using my blackberry for the past five months when it suddenly went blank on me the phone just blanked off and the red light started blinking then the load screen with the hourglass and the load bar would come up but the bar wouldn't load and it would blank off again...i was told by the store that i bought it from that the software had crashed and that it would need to be reinstalled... long story short the software can't be reinstalled for whatever reason and i now have a very expensive paperweight

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Droid Razr Nov 10th; had problems so Nov 11 evening I reformated device, factory reset.
As of this morning on Nov 19th I noticed my LED notification light flashing, so I turned on screen to see what I missed. Nothing. Okay so I unlocked phone and waited a minute to see if some third party application will tell me I have a notification. Nothing.
I turned display off, waited a min and it started flashing again. This time I had to go to work so I turned off device 100% and went to work; 6hrs later I turned on device and I got the LED notification light again. Still cant figure it out. After texting a friend, his 2nd text finally made it go away.
I attended a wedding ceremony as a guest and put my cell phone on Airplane mode so no distractions during wedding and thankfully no lights. 1hr later I re enabled all Data (turned off Airplane mode) and still no LED notification.
I thought I was saved.
But I was wrong. After 2hrs I'm getitng the LED notification light again. Tech thought it had something to do with battery, well at at any rate I'm getting a new device, will be here Wednesday but apparently its still blinking at me.
Heck I even have that thing plugged into the AC charging battery and its still going off. The weird thing is, is that when I turn a blank black screen to power up for me so I can use device the LED light goes away, but when I turn off the display (not powering device off) it comes back.
Verizon tried to get me to Motorola Tech Support but guess what, during the transition of being transferred it was 5:59 then 6:00 and the phone cut me off so their website shows them being closed. i just missed the transfer to talk to someone at motorola by 1 minute. So now i have to wait til after 3pm PST tomorrow before i call Motorola back about this issue. Til then I'm hoping someone else knows something

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recieved iPhone 4s for Christmas and it worked fine for about a month then it started rebooting randomly. I tried factory restores, DFU and anything else (no it was not wet) and nothing worked. I took the phone to Apple in early March and they replaced the phone and instructed me to not restore from back on my computer so I did not - I still have not. It contines to reboot so I thought maybe it's a bad sim card so I got a new one. I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it and still no change.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I've had the Turbo for about a month now and am extremely upset with the constant reboots. For the first few weeks the phone worked fine, nothing was out of the ordinary.
However, within this past week the phone has started freezing... I'll be using it and then suddenly the screen freezes and sits there and reboots itself. It does this a few times a day....
My upgrade to ICS a couple days ago went fine and I had no problems until last night when I rebooted my phone - just cuz - and then found that the only way BT now plays without stuttering is if I turn off wifi. No problem with 3G/4G, just wifi. I've removed and added both BT devices, rebooted the device again, and it makes no difference. Also stopped Bluetooth Share, cleared data - no change. Using the LG-HBS700 and the Motorola Elite Sliver. I can make a smart action to disable wifi when I turn on BT but that's got obvious drawbacks. I'm contemplating a factory reset but hate to do that if I don't need to.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I've had my phone since day 1 and I haven't had any issues at all with it. It's definitely the best phone I've ever owned and I've owned almost all the flagships. However, out of know where my l_e_d flashes red and I cannot find out why. Because there is no app that I have installed that would do that and I don't have any missed calls or something like that . It won't turn off and I restarted my phone, it's really strange.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had the Droid Turbo for a few months now, and the battery life has been great. It was the biggest reason I bought this phone in the first place. Over the past two days, however, the battery life has DRAMATICALLY downgraded. At 11 p.m. last night, I had 58% battery life with no apps running. The phone was in sleep mode. That much battery should have been able to get me through last night and ALL of TODAY. This morning, I check my phone, and I'm at 22% with the phone not in use for 8 hours.
All of the bells and whistles on this device are turned off. I don't have the reach out display thing turned on where it recognizes your movement. The screen is only taking up 30% of the battery draw. I have the bare minimum notifications turned on - the rest are off. My system did NOT update within the last two days. The battery simply seems to be freaking out.
So I preorder the RAZR and got it a day before the 11-11-11 launch. I had my phone setup and was about to go to bed and my device started a continuous reboot cycle that made the battery go dead by morning. I went to local store and the looked at it and said that they couldn't fix it will just give you a new one.I got a new RAZR and other that battery life issues which I am not happy about I can deal because I can have it charging in my office during the day. Well last night about 7 it started continuous reboot cycle this time I plugged it in and did a reset holding the power and the down volume. It been rebooting since last night I am not in my office with it plugged in.

Sometime it would come back on quickly and other times it would go through the long process of optimizing apps. The phone has had 2 OTA software updates since I purchased it so I decided to do a factory data reset.
I have not experienced any random reboots since the factory data reset but now I am unable to connect to WiFi. When I click on the WiFi in the quick setting menu, the phone is unable to identify any available networks. When I click on More Settings, the screen says Turning WiFi on but nothing ever happens.
I've had my Incredible since it came out, and within the last couple of days the screen has started turning on randomly and not shutting off. It is killing my battery unless I notice it right away and turn it off.

Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.

It happens when i place a call, when I open an app, while I am in the middle of a phone call, placing a text message, taking a picture, etc. There are also times when the phone will not let me power it back on unless I remove the battery.

View 7 Replies View RelatedNever had a problem until last night when the ringer volume began to automatically increases on its own.If I turn it down you can watch it immediately increase itself back to full volume and then it will continually chirp that its at full volume. It's like the side button is stuck but it isn't.I can power off the phone and even pull the battery and reboot and it will be fine for a short while and then the problem will begin again.
