D3 green notification light randomly blinking when there is no notification or other activity. Have pulled battery. Turned off unused apps. Battery functioning normally.

So I uninstalled the app and now the LED notification light does not blink when it is in screen off mode. It blinks twice when you lock it, then the notifications stop. HELP! View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my Droid Razr Nov 10th; had problems so Nov 11 evening I reformated device, factory reset.
As of this morning on Nov 19th I noticed my LED notification light flashing, so I turned on screen to see what I missed. Nothing. Okay so I unlocked phone and waited a minute to see if some third party application will tell me I have a notification. Nothing.
I turned display off, waited a min and it started flashing again. This time I had to go to work so I turned off device 100% and went to work; 6hrs later I turned on device and I got the LED notification light again. Still cant figure it out. After texting a friend, his 2nd text finally made it go away.
I attended a wedding ceremony as a guest and put my cell phone on Airplane mode so no distractions during wedding and thankfully no lights. 1hr later I re enabled all Data (turned off Airplane mode) and still no LED notification.
I thought I was saved.
But I was wrong. After 2hrs I'm getitng the LED notification light again. Tech thought it had something to do with battery, well at at any rate I'm getting a new device, will be here Wednesday but apparently its still blinking at me.
Heck I even have that thing plugged into the AC charging battery and its still going off. The weird thing is, is that when I turn a blank black screen to power up for me so I can use device the LED light goes away, but when I turn off the display (not powering device off) it comes back.
Verizon tried to get me to Motorola Tech Support but guess what, during the transition of being transferred it was 5:59 then 6:00 and the phone cut me off so their website shows them being closed. i just missed the transfer to talk to someone at motorola by 1 minute. So now i have to wait til after 3pm PST tomorrow before i call Motorola back about this issue. Til then I'm hoping someone else knows something
As usual, went to look at phone, BSOD, green blinking light. Battery pull, reboot. Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.
View 12 Replies View RelatedSo I've had this phone short of a week, and I love it. For some reason today, my S6 will randomly blink a red LED notification, but when I unlock my phone, there are no new notifications.
My first 2 thoughts were low battery indicator or no service indicator, but neither is the reason.
I don't see any notifications anywhere to clear other than the quick toggles I use. I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.

It doesn't work for Text messages or battery low, basically it "burned out." I've tried a data factory reset and still no go. I was thinking about warranty replacing the phone but I hate to do that for certain reasons. I know I don't have any applications that would make it not work, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI leave my phone in the dock by my bed and have a timeframe smart action set to turn off all ringers but I can't seem to find a way to turn off the notification light. It gets kind of annoying to wake up to get a drink and see that light flashing because of a new email like a new photon or an email. If I could set a smart action to turn the light off at night that would be excellent.

I've figured out most of the goop. The last problem I have is that I do get the green notification light for text messages but it's gone for e-mails. Does anyone know how to get the light back?
Motorola, you did a poor job with this release. Support personnel don't know the product and you are way understaffed to handle all the calls.
I have a new RAZR M and the notification light doesn't seem to work. It doesn't light when new email is received or when I plug it in to charge.

I know its for a new message but what color is for what message? I looked all over the user guide but it doesn't tell me which color is for which notification. I have auto-sync turned off for all Google apps.This happens even on WiFi. GPS, Bluetooth turned off as well. There's no missed call or unread text message. I have a feeling that it's related to voice/data signal loss. Is there any way to turn this off ? I have looked at all settings that I could think of.
