Mine blinks once when messages etc com in but that's it,no continuous blinkjng until I read text etc,can this be altered,also I think I read there are APS to set different colours or patterns for notifications ,is this correct ?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had my 6p for a while and running cataclysm since day 1 so I don't remember about this. But, does the LED light stay lit when charging on a stock 6p? My brother just got his in today and it's dark so I'm just curious if it's an issue or that's just how it is stock. If it's normal I'm gonna have him use lightflow to activate so that's not a problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to customize the notification LED per app. I've tried 3 tools to achieve this but I am not having success. Both GravityBox and XBlast tools would let me change the colour, but it would never work. All my notifications were still white. Even when I "previewed" the notification light, it would still be white. I also tried light flow, but only a couple of notification lights would show (those were some of the predefined settings). Are there specific hex values I have to use to get it to work? I really want to get this to work ....
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't see any notifications anywhere to clear other than the quick toggles I use. I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.

I use E66 and E52 phones. When I receive a new message, notification light starts flashing on both phones. It is OK. But... I often use Nokia PC Suite for managing my messages. When I read all new messages on E66, notification light automatically changes its self from flashing mode to "breathing". It's fine. But it doesn't work on my E52. When I read all new messages, notification light is still flashing (no "breathing"!) on E52. I read manual and I know that it is necessary to use my phone directly to stop flashing. Why (if all messages has been read)? I think, it correct works on E66. What is the problem? I use latest version of firmware and Nokia PC Suite (not OVI Suite!). I contacted Nokia HelpDesk, but they told me something like "it is not a bug, it is a feature".

I then loaded some files to install after flashing my rom.. Root explorer doesn't read it.. I gave it root permission.. but cant find it.. Normally I go back until in at the root directory and its under the folder Removable. but I don't see it.. is it different with Android 6.0?

Noticing high battery consumption with Light Flow? My last charge screen used 12% and Light Flow used 11%. CPU Total for Light Flow - 4h 32m and it used 371 mAh. Compared to 412mAh for the screen.

What I am looking for is to have the screen turn on with every notification...this phone is either sitting on my desk or in a car holder most of the time, so I want to see the notifications without having to handle the phone. I've tried some 3rd party heads-up notification apps that work pretty good, but I am having issues with the lock screen (sometimes I have to enter and pin AND use the fingerprint scanner, which is a bit much to just access the phone).
1. I seldom get peeking notifications even though "peeking" is selected. With some apps, peeking works sometimes and not others. I have never seen a Peek notification for gmail.
2. I find the notifications seldom turn the screen on, even though I have the ambient screen turned on. Perhaps this has something to do with problem 1.
I've had the phone for a few days now, its been working great except for the fact that when i turn heads up notification off for pretty much any app the change doesn't survive a reboot. I am on stock MDB08B with root.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my old Note 3 it had a separate volume for the phone ringer and a separate volume for the notification tones, like my text messages. I have noticed on my Nexus 6P that it seems the ringer and notification volume controls are the same. I use to turn my text message volume almost completely off at night and leave my phone ringer turned up some. But I have not been able to do that on the Nexus 6P. Am I missing something or are these two volumes on the same control? I am rooted and running Pure Nexus. I need separate volumes controls for them.
